Hello great people,

Please are there other ways to booking and getting medical done outside online booking.
It is strange to notice that Q-life and IOM does not available from now to August 2022 on their website. I think there is something not so right or am I the one doing the wrong thing?

Aug 2022 ke. Lagos or Abuja?
Although,it's kinda obvious that strange things dey happen for that medical level sef cos if I say what I heard and witnessed henn una go marvel. Until I saw it happen to a colleague and mysteriously a date in this November surfaced.
Maybe u should go there and enquire better ways to get a closer date.

Hello
You don’t need any transit visa to get to Canada at all.
You would fly from Nigeria to us then wait some hours to fly to Toronto.

Okay,thanks alot.

I actually booked with Qatar Airways. I paid 476k for a return ticket.

I actually also saw Qatar but I saw the itinerary where the airline transits through the US.
Will they allow us passage through?

Hello everyone !! Please how long does it take on average to get your passport after IRCC requests it ?
Also, is there a preferred way to address the package when the passport is being sent to the VAC via courier ??
Thank you!!

Share your timeline sis or bro. It helps and encourages others.
You needed help in booking medical and made enquiries. You got your good news and didn't share. Back again with enquiry to submit passport without sharing?

Going to Vancouver but yet to book a flight.
KLM I saw is for 26th and it was 544k on wakanow. I intend to book a return ticket to enable me access pta but am still trying to clarify whether cbn will still flag my bvn if I only use the ticket to Vancouver and don't use it back to Nigeria.
Black market is too ridiculous!

Hmmm, it doesn't hurt to submit NSE docs if u have oo. My initial application took like 50 days before I got my decision(a refusal) while this application that gave me my PPR took 42 days. I didn't get NSE request but submitted them anyways.

Hello house, please what is the best or cheaper means of moving funds abroad?
Like how do we move our remaining naira in our accounts to Canada. Tried to even calculate how reasonable it is to purchase a return ticket to access pta but the cost of one way ticket is alarming not to talk of a return ticket.
Someone with more knowledge on this should please assist.

Hello guys, thank God for me. I got my PPR this afternoon, apparently it's been sitting in my mail since 3.30pm but I had a busy day at work. After work,I went for a program in my church. It was when we closed I checked my phone and realised I had a message in my Gmail.
Lo and behold...there sat my approval since 3.30pm this afternoon.
This was a reapplication and in my previous application, the VO showed concerns about my funds stating he perceived it was for demonstration purpose only(I saw this in my GCMS notes.
Timeline below:
Application submission: 14th sept
BVL and PPR: 27th Oct.
I saw only one ghost update and eligibility never started till after PPR sef.

Since the concern was mainly on finance, all I did was pay a year tuition as against the initial tuition deposit I paid. I perceived that if I claimed I was self sponsored and the money accessible to me,why pay the minimum which was the tuition deposit?
I only submitted MBS for my pof, snip shot of my student account showing one year tuition, upfront medical,IELTS,LOE and new LOA.

Special thanks to all the gurus and everyone taking their time to answer the numerous questions here. For everyone expecting,God will make it speedy and easy for you.

[quote author=praiseb post=107088580]Good evening guys,

Just last week MP replied me that I passed all requirements, today I got procedural fairness letter.

I used two bank statements each belonging to my father,
What I don’t understand is why this is coming now.

Not a guru but from my own understanding, that letter gives u the opportunity to clear the air. If indeed the statement was not doctored and no hanky panky whatsoever,u can as well respond to their concerns and show the aunthencity of your statement by using a MBS which gives u a ticket and password electronically sent directly to the Canadian embassy.
If u are not up to the task of writing an articulated explanation with your supporting document, reach out to experienced people in the field...my 2 cent

Good evening house. Thank you for your endless opinions.

My 1st refusal reason was due to funds. And now I did submitted BMS of over 46m and assets of over to 30mil. All to be sponsored by my parents.

But I still got a second refusal on October 14. I got confused sef on the other grounds they pointed because I see it as irrelevant.

This makes it 2 refusals this year...we keep pushing expecting my gcms note....

Might try again....

But thank you

Was this reason (home ties)stated in your first refusal or simply based on finance? I used to think the vos can't come up with a refusal reason that was not previously stated before. Nawa for these peeps o. Order ur notes to understand the actual concerns

Apparently I have to be in active study, do a semester or a year with the school before changing dli which doesn't make sense to change dli after a semester.

I am just hearing this clause of the active study and doing a semester or a year before changing. Is this a new policy please?
I have a couple of people who have changed DLI inside Canada without any issh. Someone should please clarify this part.

When anyone quits,is it a must to update IRCC about change in employment status? My cousin is also quitting her job on personal and health grounds( too tedious) but she is still awaiting decision on her application.

I believe the caveat was to the intending buyer to understand that last part of the 'canada account'

Yes I did apply for Gcms note, it was with the note I was to write my letter of explanation for the previous three reasons. And now the refuse me base on personal assets and financial status

Hmmm...If u used ur notes to tackle the refusal reason and the vo still refused based on personal asset which was also part of the previous refusal reasons,I believe the VO was still not convinced. Most times I don't think its about the sufficiency of the funds like most people think,it's more about availability of funds when needed. These guys look critically and logically at the account statement, trend in transactions and may draw up conclusions that funds could have been camouflaged. When your notes arrive,u will get a clearer insight to the vo's concerns. All the best in your next application.

Good day guys…
I really need your assistance.., my application was refused this morning based on
• personal assets and financial status, although I will be applying for a gcms note soon. This is my 4th application and I’m really getting exausted. I don’t really what they mean by personal asset and financial status cos I submitted my
• my CAC certificate
• the land gifted to me by my late father
• my late father land document
• my statement of account with 8million balance
• my sponsor statement of account with 10million balance

So sorry to hear this. Get your notes which will be a lot more explicit on the VO's concerns. Were the 3 previous refusals on personal asset and financial status? Also, did u pay tuition to show commitment to the school?

I went to GT Bank yesterday ooo! Nothing come out, they said you must have a two way ticket that proves you’re coming back.

Lol.
A student can only access PTA with a one-way ticket if he or she is on scholarship . The person must show evidence of scholarship too. That's the new CBN policy on PTA.

do u have evidence or knowledge of someone that paid living cost at official rate?.I have not seen any oo.I even asked my bank and they said form A is only for school fees and medical emergencies. I stand to be corrected o but this was what my bank told me

There is a new CBN policy in place to include living expense of 3k per semester. This can only be transferred to an account opened in your name and yes,it will be done via form A except this is for the student's living expense
