Nigeria received Moderna Vaccine but they gave us AstraZeneca Vaccine as 1st doze. Are the 2 vaccines compatible? What will happen now? I'm really concerned about my safety.

Well, I also got Oxford astrazeneca as first dose and this is Moderna. Cross vaccination I heard is not advisable and would not be given but we were told that the astrazeneca vaccine will also be available in few weeks.

This is frustrating honestly.
Waiting for so long with all the agitations and anxiety.
I am so sorry sis but please don't be discouraged. Order your notes,tackle those concerns in your next application and you will laugh last. So so sorry.

The will acknowledge receipt, and forward to the quarter handling your application. It will be stated in the acknowledgement mail.
@Lamideyy is right.

Ok then,noted.
I know when u send webform and not sent to the office processing your application,the office u send to will acknowledge and inform u ur application has been rerouted to where ur file is. Furthermore,they will also let u know subsequent webforms or contact should be sent to where ur file is.
This happened to me sha for my first webform,other webforms were not acknowledged but I saw action taken on my profile.
Different strokes for different folks.

Lamideyy:

For my experience so far,
Yes they would send you an acknowledgment via email

Are you pretty sure acknowledgement mails are sent for webforms? I believe that mail you got was because you didn't initially sent to Nairobi but the office u sent to confirmed receipt and must have told u to subsequently forward your documents to Nairobi where your file is being processed.
Someone else can correct me if am wrong tho

LONG POST ALERT!!!

As is often reiterated in this platform, no two applications is the same.
A BIG THANK YOU to all those who keep providing valuable information and offering guidance here. God bless and keep you.

Timeline:
1st application 2016
Applied for PGD in HRM to Georgian College
Refused on basis of;
# Home ties (I applied for visitors visa for my husband and first child, my other two are US citizens)
# Finanicial bla bla bla (VO wasn't convinced the course was a reasonable expense, no career progression and he claimed there was a bulk cash lodgement into the account, which unfortunately wasn't true)

2nd application 2020
Applied for MHRM in University of Regina
Refused primarily because I wasn't "totally truthful" in my application. I had clicked yes on the previous refusal of visas but unfortunately it was only the details of my previous study permit application I dwelt on. Other excuses about section R216 ie not leaving Canada were mentioned in the rejection but my GCMS highlighted that the VO's main concern was the non-declaration of the US visa refusal.

3rd Application -7th March, 2021
NSE request - 12th March, 2021
NSE submission- 3rd April, 2021
L,R,W,S were 9,9,7.5,7.5 respectively (screenshot was uploaded since hard copy hadn't been received)
11th April,2021 hard copy was scanned and sent via webform
14th April, 2021 NSE documents were acknowledged. Eligibility review commenced.
April 30th, 2021 Upfront medicals
May 19th, 2021 Medical report updated to passed
June 1st, 2021 webform informing IRCC of admission extension/deferral
June 4th, 2021 acknowledgement email of mail sent.
June 9th, 2021 correspondence letter and original passport request

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
All relevant IMM forms
Admission letter

PROOF OF FUNDS
Receipt of 20k CAD paid to the school
Sponsor is my husband
I submitted;
* his employment letter,
*promotion letters
* payslips and a letter of introduction from his office.
*Plus his bank statements and a reference letter from his bank which stated that I am a signatory to his accounts.
* Pension accounts statements
* Various investments/shares documents
* Title documents of properties owned (3 in total no valuation done, I only gave an estimated value of the properties) Also included were pictures of the properties.

# For myself, I only submitted my employment letter, confirmation of employment and introduction letter from my employer.
I stated in my SOP that since I will not be earning an income through the duration of my studies I don't feel the need to submit my own bank details so it doesn't divert the attention ,(not stated in those exact words o)

International passports of myself, my husband and 3 kids. They serve as home ties.

I hope I haven't left anything out.

I graduated with a 2.2 in accounting and finance but got the MHRM offer through the experience route which is for people who have worked in HR for about 7years and above. I had to write a convincing letter to the graduate school and was given the grwenlight to go ahead with my application

I am 37 going on 38 in August but that didn't deter me. grin

Thank you so much @frankrobbn1 @justwise @lekiboboe and all the other contributors too numerous to mention. You are a blessing!!!

Congratulations!!!!!!
I am also waiting to testify by God's grace and mercy.
To all PPR hopefuls,good tidings fall upon us all.
It will end in praise.

Hello everyone. So I’m the guy that applied from
China but couldn’t pay for the visa application fee because I don’t have a Nigerian card with me, I had to give money to an agent in Nigeria to pay for the visa application fee. Then later I got an email saying there was a charge back on the fee and the agent quickly gave me another receipt and said sorry without explaining what happened. Then 3 weeks later I got a Refusal email with 5 year ban. I was worried and I requested for my notes. And it turned out that this same person canceled the payment again. Hence the denial and ban.

Please my brothers and sisters.
How do I lift off this ban?
Below is my notes !!

Please help

This one na agent from hell!
Jeezzz,why are people so wicked.
Why on earth will u as an individual intentionally cause havoc for someone. He paid u from his sweat and did this much damage. Omo people are monstrous o.
I pray u scale through this.

If I didn’t withdraw,what else was I waiting for? did you read where I requested for deferment and I didn’t get any response from them instead they send half payment.
After then time has gone, no more admission, if I was granted the visa which admission letter will I submit..
Hope you get where the problem is now?

In that case, if what u requested for what to defer seeing ur Visa wasn't coming in time for u to resume, then it was unfair of them to wana take half.
I will suggest u do an explicit mail using the mail trail where u originally requested to defer. U had no control over the embassy 's timing and it was not your fault that the application was delayed.
Please do a mail to argue your case then and hopefully u get ur money.
Let's others also suggest how else to tackle this.

@justwise

So no one could answer my question?
I have never asked questions here and anyone answer. Its not fair oo

I think u didn't get acquainted with the refund policy of your school before taking that step.
Majority of those schools will refund fully only if u can prove u were refused by the embassy. You may be required to fill a refund form and attach the refusal letter by IRCC. I know someone who got his full money back from my school after his refusal.
Canceling/withdrawing the application means the sch will also be forfeiting the seat they ought to give another prospective student hence you will bear that brunt.
Pls wait for the gurus to add more in case there are other ways to claim that balance.

Someone found this information in their gcms note.

But this isn't fair na. How will the applicant know his intended DLI would be filing for such?
This isn't the fault of the applicant na. If schools are doing this, they ought to send their prospective students emails notifying them of the need to find another DLI asap.
What form of protection does a student who has committed money and invested time into the school have,only to be denied their visas because of the school's decision or move.
Na wa!

Hi @Teeprecious, raising a webform is sufficient enough to inform IRCC of your new development but on the contrary, it is also at your own discretion to send via email, if you choose too. Personally, I will send also via Email but like i said, it is up to you. I hope this helps??

If you’re agent and you write well.. why use “Am an agent”
Wow cool cool
At least try to give a good impression.

Omo,I heard Canadians are polite and kind people but some responses on this forum coming from people will shock you.
The fact that the person used am in place of I am or I'm doesn't disqualify him being a good agent and may have content to give.
Haba, people use informal languages in the context of different discussions on this forum.
Yes,making a good impression matters in marketing but cut him some slacks and be nice if u want to correct.

Yes. A friend paid using stanbicIBTC through 3rd party flywire. It lasted a week and nothing happened. She now has to top up the money in the account and she was debited the next day, and the money got to the school same day. So reason for her own delay was that she did put money in the account based on CAD336.65 conversation rate that she was told at the bank, but was charged CAD342.Bleep based on debit. Hope that guides you.

Please how does this 3rd party flywire work. I have seen people complaining about flywire rates, surprisingly it seems flywire payment could also be routed through form A.
Kindly explain how this works.

Honestly your case with that guy is just dicey, I meanso difficult to judge. I remember you said you won't still pay him even if he doesn't charge back. I mean look at the date he charged back and the date he made payment for you, that's like a month after. He should have long been paid for the service he rendered. Fine,I remember you asked him to provide a valid identity. But I think the lesson here for all is that we should agree on terms and conditions before initiating business transaction with people we don't know. Both of you would take part of the blame.

Pls don't think that anybody that doesn't support you is a friend to the guy or a partner in crime. I don't know him from anywhere

So so apt

Hello All, How are we doing?

So I received NSE request and I did my IELTS on the 8th of May, my result is out. I prepared for a week but God did it, and i did well.

I am to upload my IELTS result to my application but British council has refused to send the soft copy and they are not receiving visitors in their office because I wanted to go and pick up.

They are saying a dispatch will bring it to my house. I used BC because they had flexible and close test dates, please from you guy's experience does it usually take long to have your IELTS result couriered to you? the deadline for my upload is May 30th.

I will appreciate any advise i can get. Many thanks

Hi,
Based on my own experience, I wrote the CBT on the 17th April,saw my online result on the 23rd and got the hard copy dispatched to me by Monday the 25th
