Twitter Nigeria has some of the most arrogant, self-conceited, over-sabi and haughty individuals I have come across on social media in the country. The vast vast majority are complainers, i.e, complain from today till tomorrow without proffering solutions. Worse is when there is a blue tick besides the username, oh, such individuals claim an all-and-all and shut down divergent views by labelling them with funky words - misogynist, patriarch, homophobe, racist etc.

Regarding the notion of man-know-man, such mentality makes people not to believe in themselves and lose out on a lot of things. I might be accused of quoting him several times, but one invaluable thing I learnt from Jarus is not to base job applications on the theory of man-know-man. Reason is that: there will always be a percentage of folks who will get in without knowing anyone, so why not target being part of that number? This pervasive mentality radiates around the country and prevent believers from applying but the good thing about it is that, such belief system reduces the overall number of applicants.

True you are right people get jobs everyday without connection. Trusting God and believing in yourself is all you need.

I interacted with at least 6 EH for 5th..& we all came from Lagos..
In my flight from lagos.. My seat mate was GT also scheduled for 5th
Met 2 of my guys at the amphitheatre ..also from lagos.. So personally I think the interview dates were based on region of resident not state

I was told by panel chairman that he knows my company very well and as such he won't ask me anything in my field cos he is sure I have so much strength there lol. And he started firing me hahaha. He opened xb again and saw certifications and laughed and said bros tell me what is not on ur cv about yourself. Well leave the story

I met 2 guys I know from PH. One was a former colleague and now the head of ICT south region in his company while the other was a school mate in high school and course mate in the Uni but a set higher. We all were interviewed same time and by same panel and obviously we are all ICT.
Three of us, none has gotten alert.

Also, there is a lady in phc too she was interviewed 10th 9am and she got the alert and she was the person who told me first and asked if I have gotten.

So for those who are skilled in deductive reason add this to ur chart and give us way forward

That's not entirely true. If you are comparing an Average northern kid to an average southern kid, yes the southern kid will come off better academically but saying they all have no brain is judgemental. I have met smart northern kids and I learnt from them.

It's a no-brainer man...those states are highly competitive, they give government parastatals headache, from quiz competitions to waec results to militart and paramilitary exams etc...Deltans why una too sabi book self.

I have been paid since Wednesday..6 July batch..guess what I can still log in to my profile and see my details there...what does it tell you? We are still in the race..

Severally it's been made clear that NNPC applies a quota system for the merit list..as even seen in their recent appointment of COOs/ head of the seven divisions..they are a lot of Hausa people in NNPC..this is as a result of the quota system..

If you tried your best at the interview...Pray you make it from your state.. (Delta, Lagos, Ogun, Imo) take note..high competition states

After APL .. orientation training shall start..after successful completion people shall get posted to different subsidiaries..

As for Tfare..there may b an embargo on it for now..or probably the lists have not been fully updated...

July 6th was a very efficient day in the process.and had a lot of sure and capable candidates especially EH..all of them can't b out just cos of alert..

The process is fast and it's good so let's discuss things much more important..

What logic did you used in coming up with highly competitive state?

The allocation of interview dates is based on course of study and what they call Unit of Operations.
A particular type of unit was not interviewed until the last day. Everybody on that list did not need to answer what business unit they like. Thank you. Enjoy

On other subtle matters, there is no correlation between APL and T-fare. You can as well say those who have been paid T-fare are given money to help ease their coming to Abuja for the next stage. So focus the mind on something more productive for now.

This NNPC recruitment is highly competitive, that I am certain of.

This is why I said so:

While waiting at the Amphitheatre on the 6th of July for my interview, I sat next to this fair gorgeous Lady. At first, I was reluctant to talk to her as she appeared more interested in pressing her phone than talking. My breakthrough came when she inquired from me the direction to the rest room as I had earlier gone to ease myself.

We began talking, lowering our voices as we passed comments on every activity that went on in the theatre. Soon, she began smiling and laughing quietly to my remarks and comments, the more she laughed, the more she looked so beautiful to me. But my Achilles heel was before me, "how do I make do of my advantage to collect her number?" I asked myself as I have always struggled with the opposite sex at this part of any interaction.

Gradually, as time passed by, I got some information though reluctantly, like her name, school attended and current workplace. I couldn't still muster the confidence to ask her for her number.

No sooner had other candidates joined us in our discussion when I was suddenly called by my usher and led to the slaughter house Panelist room.

As I waited for my turn at the lobby, I couldn't take my mind off her, I kept on thinking of how I could get her number.

Interview over, took a road trip back to Lagos, as I got to the Office on Monday, I began using everything within me to search for her, Twitter, Facebook, Truecaller, everything. I finally made a breakthrough on LinkedIn but I wasn't satisfied, it had been 3 days since I sent a connection request yet, no answer. I then decided to use Goggle, the first page had everything I needed, my jaw dropped, my suspicion was confirmed.

This Lady, was the 3rd best in a national examination few years ago, was on scholarship to study in one of the leading public schools in Nigeria and recently, was shortlisted by a National scholarship body as one of the four successful candidate from her State to go study (Post Graduate) at one of the best University in one of the best country In Europe.

We are currently friends on LinkedIn, and I am yet to ask her for number.

Selection is by state, your competition is by your state. If she likes let her be the best in the world by Gods grace I know my API is on the way.

The chances available in a state where there's this "host community factor" will be very few.
The host community slots and those to be taken are already concluded.
I just got reliably informed that my LGA alone-being host community, got 4 slots and their APL is ready awaiting dispatch once the process is concluded.
What that means is the remaining slots for the state will be for other LGAs.

By this time next week - all things being equal, everything would have been sealed.

My informant chose to remain anonymous on the 4 from my LGA: all he did was to mention the communities each of the 4 came from.

God help us all!

For those of you that like conspiracy theories, have you asked yourself this?
What's the discipline of those who's gotten their tfare for the different days of the interview? Is it random or not. This may not be easy to answer as we do not know how many in actual have gotten theirs.
Given that we've only seen 2 nnpc staffs from different depts been referenced in all the tfare alert testimonies so far (there could be more), could it be that the receivers are departmental rejects or successfuls? Could it be they are handling this departmentally or subsidiary-ly?

Disclaimer: Like so many others here, this is a homemade sauce. And no, I won't state whether I've received alert or not. Let this be a neutral hypothesis. Whether you disprove or ascertain is your choice. There is no wrong or right answer.
