TBH, I'm not sure about you paying another application fee, I guess that's why they provided options but I'd suggest you ask the school.

For Skype interview, I believe you will be doing another if you choose another department.

Ok bro, I had thought they wanted to do another transfer me to another course for automatic admission before

What they mean is that they didn't get enough applicants for the course hence they decided to cancel it for this int-take period.

They also gave you the option to wait and apply next year in the autumn (Sept) or you should look for other courses available at the school.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the reply, will i pay a fresh application fee, and undergo another Skype interview for another course?

Hello Gurus in the house, I applied for admission to VMU but this was the reply;

You have received a reply from Vytautas Magnus University regarding [Bachelor Degree] Logistics and Commerce

We would like to inform you that unfortunately we are not meeting minimal quota of students for selected programme and it had been cancelled on first of December.
However, we can offer you:
To move your application to autumn, 2021;
to transfer you to other available study programme: www.vmu/en/studies/degree-studies/
Waiting for your answer and we apologise for the inconvenience.

Vytautas Magnus University

Kind Regards,

I AM CONFUSED PLS WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Hello guys, who else has done skype interview with vmu? Have they gotten back to you?
Please how long does it take for them to tell you if you’re successful or not

Did the interviewer tell you your application date of decision?

Advice is needed urgently please

My sister application for bachelor degree got rejected by VMU, she applied with WAEC WITH GOOD GRADES, the below is the email copy received;

Your application to Vytautas Magnus University regarding [BA] International Politics and Development studies has been rejected.

I regret to inform you that after reviewing your application documents the Admission Committee of the university has made the decision that you are not eligible for bachelor degree studies as your previous education results are too low and overall motivation.

We wish you all the best to find the education fitting your needs and future prospects.

Vytautas Magnus University

PLEASE IS THERE ANY GUARANTEED SCHOOL SHE CAN APPLY THAT CAN GRANT ADMISSION and like i said she has WAEC ONLY.

Your suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated.

Something must have happened! what grades does she have,specifically on mathematics,English and the subject grades synonymous with the course she planned for?

Those countries are casted in my opinion.

Explore European countries.

Enter Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia or Romania with a student visa.

Schools in Lithuania are about 4,000 Euros per annum depending on the course.

Fun fact, do you know that's it cheaper to live in Lithuania than Lagos ?

From there you can get your PR and move to Germany, Netherlands or Belgium.

Hello to y’all, i heard Nairalanders are nice people that assist in guiding visa applicants to the right path.
I want to apply for a Lithuania student visa but I will like to share my situation to you.
I am 22 years of age.
I am currently an undergraduate in a university here in Nigeria @300 level but i don’t want to continue,rather I wish to pursue a barchelor degree at Lithuania university for the spring(February intake).
This is urgent as i would be applying this November for admission firstly.
For a successful visa, firstly, how much should be in my bank statement balance when i apply for visa?
Secondly will i need to tell them i am enrolled in a university here because i am confused, i sat for WAEC @2016. If i tell them the truth,will it complicate issues for my visa? like them asking me for a letter from my university and others, or if i rather lie to them i am not enrolled in a university in Nigeria will they verify? or will it prompt them thinking why since 2016 and me trying to apply 2020! This is very important to my life and I will appreciate if i get a credible reply.
Thirdly, concerning the quality of life in Lithuania,are there jobs there? Is it a good place??
Looking forward to receive a reply. Imma appreciate a lot.

Think that above question for timing is for visa processing time not admission duration processing time.

Hello guys,I am in a dilemma,and i need an urgent reply as it is urgent. I want to apply for a student visa to Russia,but the embassy is closed due to COVID because Russia is the top country in Europe with highest coronavirus cases,so definitely there embassy will be closed in Nigeria. Russia is my planned destination,but i am confused, I want to apply for admission next week and pay for invitation letter which will come out after 1 month .but what is the assurance that the embassy will be opened after i pay for invitation? So i suggest i apply for a Turkish student visa, although i am not happy with it because Russia is better and it is my dream destination for study,but there is nothing i can do. So guys pls i need your help;
1.Should i apply for admission in Russia,and pay for the invitation that will come out after 1 month, and hope that the embassy will open within 2 months because invitation letter is valid for only 3 months.
OR
2.I should not apply for admission in Russia and rather apply for admission in Turkey since the embassy is opened.

Admission process will end in both countries this month, so i have to apply tommorow to meet up, so please i need an urgent answer.

No. Your visa application will be processed once the pause ends.

How the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is affecting immigration, refugees, citizenship and passport services: common questions about applying for a visitor visa or eTA
Until further notice, most people cannot travel to Canada, even if they have a valid visitor visa or electronic travel authorization (eTA). Some people may still be able to travel to Canada by air if they’re exempt from the travel restrictions and are coming for an essential purpose.

This page provides answers to common questions about the current pause in processing viHello! I applied for an Irish tourist visa for the purpose of traveling on April 10 for Easter,but till now my application is not yet out. I am very concerned about this and someone introduced me to this forum that it is the best in getting an accurate answer and it is a follow guide. Will the COVID-19 make me to get a refusal? Or has anyone been refused based on COVID-19 reasons?? Please come to my aid,I need your repliessitor visa and eTA applications (unless you’re exempt) and the need to apply online for a study permit or work permit from April 9 to 29, 2020)....

Your application won’t be processed until the pause is lifted if

you don’t meet one of the exemption criteria
an officer determines that you’re not travelling for an essential purpose"

Travel / Re: High Commisions Calling Banks To Ask About Visa Applicants' Account Details by tellalexander: 3:25pm On Mar 15, 2020
salford1:

In previous years, embassy would often call the branch directly. In the late 1990s, managers would even call their customers to inform them that the embassy called for verification. I remember clearly that a branch manager once called my mum to inform her that the British Embassy called the branch to verify her bank statements. This was in 1997 or so.

Embassies have since evolved. Since the mid 2000 or so, they do not contact the branch directly anymore. They have dedicated lines or people they contact directly at head offices or regional Head offices.

However not all accounts are flagged. Some are flagged because they simply look fake, and some are flagged for audit purposes. Your guys may have just been lucky.
Hello house,is this Coronavirus issue going to have effect on visa? I have made an application for Ireland visa and it’s 4 weeks now I haven’t seen any decision

My little ideas about this issue is that Embassy do inquiries from Banks as regard there statement of account ,But its not legal for Bank to go ahead and disclose customers bank details with Third party Except Anti Corruption agency and court of law has the legal backing for doing so.
America and some Schengen countries don't normally verify bank account in Nigeria .its Canada ,UK.Ireland and Switzerland Poland and few other do verify at time not always.
In nutshell if my Bank reveal my details to embassy without my consent I have legal right to sue for damages .for exposing my transaction with third party.

I worked in the Regulatory Risk dept in a UK bank in the late 2000s. Embassies are smarter than you think, and they have a way around verification. When you submit you application, you have disclosed that everything you submitted is true and given them the privilege to verify same information by appending your signature and date. You have given them the privilege to contact your university, Polytechnic, employer, Bank etc if they want to.

In my days of working in the said bank, the embassy would call and chose about 3 to 4 dates on a statements balance to ask questions on. The banker only needs to confirm True or False when the question are asked.

E.g.

ECO: 12345 account number belongs to Mr XX
Banker: True/False.

ECO: Closing balance of -N- xx amount on DD/MM/YY.
Banker: True/False.

ECO: Debit of -N- xx amount on DD/MM/YY
Banker: True/False

with the informations you provided,if you lump some money to build account,and remove those money away from the account immediately after printing the bank statement..will the embassy be able to detect that by knowing the current balance from the bank?
