With all these jobs responsibilities and they still won't pay? Not good enough. You may take it if you are ready to learn. It's going to build your knowledge

did you write the exam when it was 250 questions or when it became adaptive? How did you find it?

Adaptive, hard and failed. Passed CISM once though. Getting ready to crush it again.

In what way?
I had Azure in 2020 and did my AWS Practitioner & solution architect in 2021. I applied many times for international jobs from Nigeria after Azure but no success. I needed international experience as an IT Professional. My application was able to scale through,( maybe luck) after AWS and I got the professional job I desired. Please note that this is my personal experience even though I did additional security qualifications like CISSP, but I felt AWS made my CV more Visible.

Personal opinion and advice I would give people below ten(10) years in IT.

Thank you, sis. Someone will be using it. To start in a new country is not easy oh. Phew. God help everyone.

Not true. Careful with them. I will advice you follow them with same eyes you would follow a Nigerian agent. Of lately there is not much of a difference between Nigerian (Lagos) agent and this agents over here.

Thank you, my brother. Immediately I refused the wrong information.

Viruses:

There's no regulation that states that these must be provided as well. Its up to you to keep searching till you get a house that meets your requirements.

Yeah?

Right, but saying it confidently that they don't provide white goods in Scotland is wrong and misleading information.

Mamatukas and all the Scotland people. Please is it true that in Scotland, you provide all your white good yourself? My agent is telling me that Scotland houses don't offer white goods.

Please help me because I want to give a correct response

Firefunmi2014:
Good evening all.

I need your assistance.

I moved to the UK last year November on Healthcare Visa. My family just got their Visa approved and planning to come in May or June.

My husband believes that he will only spend two weeks and return to Nigeria because he has some loan to pay back in Nigeria. He plans to work till December before he finally joins us.

The challenge I foresee is that I can't take care of 3children alone, considering their age bracket ( 12 and cool. I have been told that they can't allow anyone below 13yrs to stay alone at home

Because of his exposure, he can't afford to be sending us money for carer , I don't even know how much they will be collecting.. Aside, my salary might not be able to foot the bills.

My husband is of opinion that his mother should come around on tourist visa which I don't have problem with since she has been living with us in Nigeria for more than 10yrs.

Below are my questions.

1. What is implication of my husband decision to stay outside UK more than 6months

2. Is his decision capable of affecting us in future when we are to switch Visa status?

3. Is there any implication having the children to stay at home alone?

4. What is the possibility that my mother in law visa will be approved by ECo considering the fact that she is not earning income at moment. She only gets 15k monthly allowance from my husband.

Thank you

Hi,

I don't know much, but I am also in the same boat.

I have read thoroughly through the UK immigration rules, and I would want to believe that the bolded won't affect you as an individual. It would only affect your husband during his filing for ILR. If anyone else has another opinion, please help us digest this as this forum is a learning platform.

Thank you, UK Elders

Yes. You can have a joint account for running the domestic activities of the house with stipulated amount put into it every month by the two of you. Also, you two will have your personal accounts for your personal things. It's been working for me for years. It may not work for you but don't let this cause any issue in your marriage. Communication is key

Yes. On my journey to the United States, I ran into a friend. We had a layover in Istanbul and hit it off right away, as if we'd known each other for a long time. Since then, we've remained friends. We've been together for six years and are still going strong.
