You must be a Muslim who has gone through the bible. The koran mentioned Jesus as a prophet, was his life detailed? All your statements except the one the bible is silent about Jesus for some years I think are wrong. The books in the new testament are like accounts of different people of what transpired. Mattew, Mark, Luke, John, they all tell the story of what they heared, encountered and knew about Jesus while he was with them. Therefore his adult life will be more. Imagine your friends writing your bibliography...What would you expect? John 4:26 Jesus talks about being the messiah We believe in the trinity, three in one God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit I sometimes baffle when you guys use bible portions and events to discredit the same bible though. |
Corruption is not just stealing money .... There are rules that dictates the use of power, and PMB swore by the koran to uphold the constitution. Gagging the opposition because they are opposition is wrong. Let the court examine the evidence and give their verdict accordingly...he is presumed innocent till found guilty. Why restrict access to him by order from the top? |
If the prospect is there, then it is worthy to invest. "First oil" takes some years to come on, and oil price is not going to stay low for eternity. Finding the reserves counts as assets for the country. Now is the better time to explore, because low prices will make firms to scramble for any contract, and they can carry out relatively cheaper than the oil boom period. This is the period we should have been relying on internal refining and exporting of finished products. |
Well, I don't think it is grammar that will put us out of this....there should be cost cutting across all levels to show the seriousness in solving our problems. . The 2016 budget proposed with the excessive allocations to the wrong places shows this administration is not ready to tighten the belt. 2016 BMW cars comes to mind - The audacity to even include the foreign manufacturer in our bill |
Nice, looks perfect...how much did you spend in total for shipping and clearing, and what's your location. |
All these wannabe females |
This one na rough play oh....I for sue the airline after this flight |
We need to encourage local products....identify the substitute products and encourage it. PMB needs to find good economists who will proffer solutions to this our current crises. GEJ Will be smiling that he isn't at the helm at this critical time. Sometimes defeat can be good |
Wetin you do with 1.5 million for school wey you dey? I dey follow you fear for the balance...you don use money buy 1 high rep for school, you have to keep it up. There are shops you can rent around your school environment, think of what you can sale and make some cash daily. Depends on the school you are too..when I was in my final year, me and my roomie regretted the amount spent on trivial things. The money wasted could have bought cars for cheap from final year students and put in school as taxi. |
The war is being won...slowly but surely. I said it some time back that the kind of money being budgeted for security will make some cabal lackadaisical towards ending this insurgency. It's good that power changed hands, as the pdp led government (I didn't mention GEJ but GEJ inclusive) would never had been able to make it happen. Corrupt officers should be disciplined so as to send a message to those currently in control that they cannot eat their cake and have it back. |
You can't I think...you just have to wait, they'll call you from the post office I think when it arrives. Could take up to three weeks, maybe less, maybe more |
We are going to borrow and tax ourselves to finance this!! So much for change! With all these unnecessary amounts being budgeted, why wont Someone in charge steal? |
The way that bonus go finish, e go be like say na per minute then dey charge you |
Lol The pastor sef... |
Everything is news |
So that we take them serious, why not first do a downward review of the salaries they are collecting? Other countries tax, how much is their minimum wage? How much is our? Do we have the necessary amenities on ground to drive growth? Is the light? A bulk of our money finds its way outside our shores due to importation. They should try and make bills to encourage local production and consumption instead of taxing us to finance their wanton wages. |
erico2k2:well, it doesnt affect me right now, but i worry when I come back, how it will. That said, I am for anything that will move the country forward. Let the revenue be used mostly for capital projects and used judiciously and there should be a review of salaries at the top level to reflect current conditions. |
Temmydeco:done |
if your theories were right, then its effect would have been increased oil price not reduced oil price. Actually the law restricting the USA from oil export has been expunged, and there are no more just consumers. They were on the verge of exporting their shale oil, that is why OPEC reduced the price to force them out of the market. That's the main reason oil prices might stay low for long. If OPEC raises the price, it would be economic for USA to produce shale oil (Unconventional) and export. |
gcof:The painful part is including the name of the foreign manufacturer they plan to buy the vehicles from....they want the ordinary man to contribute his quota, but they cant just also try and contribute theirs at this trying times. |
erico2k2:Oga...Stamp duty, tax, whatever we call it, it is a means of revenue drive for fg. It shouldn't be. Given the state of our economy. All nigerians shouldn't be paying from our meagre income. What happens to someone that sells a widget for 1500 with a 100naira gain and depends on bank payments and internet transfers? taking out 50naira for each transaction to buy luxury cars, feed fat, pay hardship allowance and wardrobe allowance does not make sense. Increasing corporate tax or taxing luxury/imported items will increase the drive to find cheaper alternatives, which will encourage investors to locally produce widgets looks like a better way to increase revenue under present circumstances. Again, FG should review the base amount as 1000naira is not an optimum amount for the current situation in nigeria if they go ahead with this plan. |
Person dey give BJ for toilet una say na propose LOL at tissue used to wipe tears |
erico2k2:My point there is that the base amount is too low, naive or not...my argument was speculative. I've not had chance to see the cbn publication. Taxes should be more for the high class...If minimum wage is this low, then start taxing from minimum wage or around that range at least so we know you are sensitive. I still stand on cutting cost of governance at this critical period. |
TheDEVlLHimseIf:There should be an immigration office there....you need to go there and apply....I can't tell requirement, but when I did mine, birth certificate, guarantor(you can go along with someone that has passport already), passport photograph (you can take it at the immigration office), Id card, cert of origin, court affidavit (they did collect some money and go do this maybe for the extra change) You can ask to know where the immigration office is in your area |
Temmydeco:What's in |
erico2k2:I can't tell...I used "I think". I wasn't even aware of such act...someone said "since when abiola won election" that's why I wrote that |
This might na him you wan get visa travel? Your blood dey hot. If you go early tomorrow with ask your docs, I think you can get it tomorrow evening. |
I think when this law was made 1000 naira was a large sum of money... If the current administration wanted to implement this, why not account for inflation and dey the price accordingly? They say there's no money but their wardrobe allowance alone can pay minimum wage for a crowd. The amount budgeted for Food and vehicles can be used for capital projects. Why are we borrowing to finance trivialities when we can cut those costs? The money should be from 50,000 up so that the poor masses are not discouraged from banking. |
If she no born in three months time, bros run, no be you get am....Why did she wait this long before she tell you? I think you don show the babe plenty flexin, she wan blackmail you, tie you down with pikin. |
Minister of health dey sleep We will, we will......get to work already! |
yes....I support amaechi on this. Maritime academy, Oron should be upgraded to a university. Structures are on ground already. |
