When they stop experiencing federal presence in their region, I hope they won't cry marginalisation like the IPOB youths. A word is enough for the wise I hope the federal presence will still come to you when the source of more than 70% of the funds as been cut off. Your reasoning is idiotic. Let the will of the people be. Don't force any body on them. They know what is right for them. If they decide to go with APC tomorrow, that's their reason. Staying in the West and trying to decide for the South is you paying with fire. Can you bear the consequence after rigging in an unpopular person? The level of electoral malpractice and insecurity in yours present government makes me start to lose some hope. |

I don't see us taking udom down for umana...we go for the lesser of two evils. APC can keep their criminals at the federal level. They can only buy some from the area of origin, we know better.
APC cannot win akwaibom in a free and fair election. If they try to rig their way in, they want to seriously destabilize the state and the country in general. |

chuose: Once the North finds Oil, they will leave Nigeria.
Do you think the North will bother with the south ? Its the Oil that is holding Nigeria together. The Oil of the South-South which is controlled by the North. And they expect us to be happy I don't think "Nigeria" will let the north go in that a scenario |
Politics › Oil In Northern Nigeria - Implications? by tempest01(op): 8:51am On Jan 08, 2016*. Modified: 9:11am On Jan 08, 2016 |
The NNPC head has most recently made remarks hinting of possible commercial oil being found in the chad basin in northern Nigeria.
The Chad Basin 3D Prospect, also known as JV 109 is a Joint Venture Seismic operation between Integrated Data Service Limited (IDSL), a subsidiary of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting (BGP), a subsidiary of Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
From my own little research, it is plausible that hydrocarbon might be found in Yobe or Borno state. Chad is landlocked, but they discovered significant reserves in this basin and checking the lake chad history, it favours deposition of hydrocarbon in these two states. Finding the (commercial) reservoirs is the challenge.
What do you think might be the implications if oil is found here? Douse proponents of resource control or more agitations? More political will for the PIB? Secession?

It's a pity the authorities are quick to act on a certain group of people, and pretend nothing is wrong while a certain group is committing havoc throughout the country.
It is obvious as men we have a duty to protect our wives, children and sisters. Democracy has given that mandate to the authorities, and the vehicles used for this has been ineffective and in many cases, they turn around to be the oppressors.
Tandem to the Principe of survival, it is worthy for you people to take the situation into your hands for self preservation. If the government of the day has failed to protect you, don't be sitting ducks.
It pained me when I was serving in nasarawa when communities relocated, because they received info from herdsmen that they were coming to attack them - in their own land. And all they did was relocate. |

petkruz: Hey guys, i'm so angry right now i'm tempted to break up with the love of my life.
1) he didn't tell me he was saving to buy a car, he just drove to my compound and was looking at my face, I kept my cool.
2) My so-called boyfriend decided to call me today 3rd January and that's his first this year!! I didn't get any new year wishes. I confronted him, he apologised and all but ladies and gentlemen, the era of Men being non-challant is over.
Fine I did wrong years ago,but gone are the days when someone tries to pay back a sin I committed in my youthful restlessness.I have apologised, cried, begged, I became humble by force, I realised my mistake yet he hasn't gotten over the fact that I left him because he didn't have money when actually his possessiveness and lack of trust made me wanna always run out.
He can't be pained after 4years,its better I dump him now before he drops another bomb! But to be honest I do love him a lot, a whole lot. I'm angry and confused You left him 4 years ago because of no money....sorry. He is silently killing you. Better leave now. You will never enjoy the relationship. NB: If i was him, in his shoes, thats the advice ill give to you. Also he is not your husband, so what he buys with his money doesnt need an approval from you or a prior information. |
Business › Re: Is Importing From China Better Than Buying From Lagos? by tempest01(m): 9:54pm On Jan 03, 2016 |
muhammed001: Hello everyone please I need your advice and encouragement on this mini importation business because i am really facing problems on this importation biz.
What I found out now is that the things I import are always cheaper at lagos
Because my first order was 30 watches and after buying them I found out that they are even cheaper in lagos than importing them because I want to sell them on wholesale price.
My next order was tummy slimming waist trainer for women. When I received the samples I said let me go and look for buyers that will buy it on wholesale before importing them When I got there I found out that my price is higher than lagos price. Even the price I bought it is higher than lagos price not to talk of adding profit.
please how can one really make money from this mini importation biz? I am buying from 1688 Please help me with a solution to this problem or is there anything I am thinking wrong?
The goods are always cheap in china but when you calculate the total cost price of the goods and shipping fee, you will found out that is very expensive when compared to the price of lagos.
Then you will start saying that buying from lagos is even cheaper than buying from china. So now, what is the big deal on importing from china or uk/us when we can even get it cheaper in lagos ?
Info marketers will always show you the prices of the goods in china but they will not include the shipping fee. Sometimes the shipping fee can even multiply the cost of the goods * 4 and above.
Please your contributions are highly welcomed. The people selling in lagos in bulk and have containers, agreements with chinese agents to lower cost with bulk purchase, or buy directly from factories in china, so their prices are low. When they ship these items in bulk, individual items contribute a little percentage and they can then add very little amounts and make their profits. you on the other hand buy these items cheap (maybe same with the lagos sellers) but transporting it down here costs you more (much more) than the lagos sellers. My take. |
