My reservations about moving to the UK

- I hate being at the mercy of others. Going to the UK on a spousal permit means losing my German residency and I'll be at her mercy. As should anything go wrong with the relationship , I'll have to leave the UK.

- Getting a professional job. It doesn't make sense to go to the UK and continue to be trapped in menial jobs. I have been there and I hardly see Nigerians in professional jobs except those with rich parents. Someone should advice me on that as it could not be a real reflection.


My Reservations about Nigeria


- High rate of startup failure
- Difficulty in getting loans to expand. I have heard they can ask for even your neck in those times. With a lack of collateral, more difficult.


For those asking about my course, Yes it's a STEM degree.

Go back home to Nigeria and secure yourself a lecturing job in one of the numerous Universities.
No one will give a black man jobs commensurate with your degree as the white men prefer their own kids to maintain future prosperity of their country.
Most black men with good degree are working as a Security guard in the office and supermarkets in order to pay their bills.
This is a dilemma of minorities living in UK and Europe.
This is the best advice I can give as someone who had been to UK myself.
However, listen to your heart and decide.

That's one of the foolish decisions taken by Ajimobi in Oyo State that did not only consumed him, but also his party, APC, when he believed he was wiser than his predecessors who ignored the 1957 or so, Ibadan Obaship declaration to create additional 11 kings in the ancient town. I agree to this ascertion. But the truth is we need a voice but not a biased or a party or individual siding voice. He said the truth about the government and the poverty among the people. We need more prominent people to do this. But by not supporting any party. Words are arbitrary and should convey a message. They can only kill a messenger but can't kill the message. If he's dethroned, I don't think he's the first and he won't be the last. The whole of the nation knew that no sane man would have supported Ganduje,tho perfeomed according to my analysis but what about the public show of shame he brought about his seat? In a sane environment, he would voluntarily resign or worst still commit suicide..

Sanusi's goofed by making a statement that seems to support the PDP candidate during Kano rerun election which Ganduje won.
Sanusi public statement that poverty is rampant in Kano despite many rich Kano indigene infuriated Dangote at the public ceremony at BUK also.
You can't disrespect the Governor of your state no matter what and so only God can save Sanusi not to be dethroned.
