Tinubu has started again. If he’s truly confident in his leadership and popularity, there would be no need to sponsor crises across opposition parties nationwide. These constant interferences only expose one thing: insecurity. A leader who is sure of himself doesn’t spend this much energy destabilising alternatives.

They’ve started hyping Fubara again, as if recent history didn’t happen. It’s clear he learned nothing from his political benefactor and is still playing childish games. If not for that suspension, he would have been impeached long ago. But he should continue listening to online cheerleaders who have no stake in the real consequences.

I was in Rivers State during the 2023 elections and spent time with an LGA chairman. I can say this confidently: without Wike’s structure and influence, Fubara would not have won a single local government area.

If both men are left to face each other without external interference, Fubara would record one of the most devastating political losses Nigeria has seen since 1960.

Things like this keep happening in USA, they shouldn't be calling other countries insecure. Living in the US is literally like a death sentence, you can go out and not be assured of going back home just because one weyrey start killing people that didn't offend them.

And it wasn't Finitri that sentenced Jackson to death, it was the Adamawa State High Court, it was then upheld by the Court of Appeal and then the Supreme Court.

In the Supreme court judgement sef, it was a 3-1 decision, there was a minority judgement against the death sentence but the majority lead judgement wins.

I actually felt Sunday Jackson case was mismanaged by his lawyer in the State High Court proceedings when the case got to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, they will judge on facts already established at the High Court

How exactly are women marginalized for leadership positions? According to the last census, there are more women than men in Nigeria, but during elections most of them either don't vote or vote for only male candidates. How's that men's fault? I wonder why females don't like taking accountability.

I remember having a discussion here some time ago about nail and lash techs, wig sellers, and perfume vendors. A friend of mine recently opened a proper, well-structured store for nail and lash products, far more standard than what many of these ladies run while claiming massive profits.

Five months in, he’s shutting it down. No profit whatsoever. He’s been personally subsidising the business for the past five months and finally decided to cut his losses.

It’s starting to look like those businesses only appear profitable when run by women. I’ve said it before, a lot of wig sellers, food vendors, perfume plugs, and nail or lash techs are into hook-up. If a man ventures into those spaces, or even hires staff(a woman) who won’t engage in “extra services”, the returns are shockingly poor. The numbers simply don’t add up.

Let government make DNA test mandatory today, you'll see the crisis that will erupt. Almost all the marriages in the country will collapse because of what'll be revealed.

I'd advise every married man to go for dna test. And if you claim you don't have the funds, well, in my opinion if you cannot afford something as basic as DNA test you have no business getting married in the first place.

I find it interesting that you’ve never had an issue with straight sex scenes. You even applauded House of Ashur for one of them. It’s a problem only when the characters aren’t straight.

Unless people plan to stop watching western films entirely, they’ll have to accept this reality, LGBT people may not be a major social focus in Africa, but they exist in large numbers in America and Europe. Expecting Western films not to portray LGBT characters or their sexual scenes is simply unrealistic.

The problem is not with LGBT or their representation, the problem is with the context. This shows was set in the 80s, LGBT was still highly taboo!..No Gay man then was coming out to one person, let alone a room full of people. Many famous people were Gay then, and they kept it a secret, and even engaged in heterosexual relationship to deflect rumours, LGBT community was so ostracized that, they were synonymous with HIV/Aids.

The Duffer Brothers have got so confused on how to end this, no more "shock value" cards to pull, they resulted to nonsense pandering, that ordinary should serve no purpose to the story. Primary characters are now been relegated to Secondary characters, Eleven has been touted as the end all, be all of the show, and one episode to go, she still get nosebleeds from lifting simple objects 😩😩.

This entire S5 feels forced, even the actors, aren't even doing much acting, they are just bidding time, to fulfill their contracts and be done, so the only "draw" now, it's this stunt they pulled, even the LGBTQ community aren't even, all that pleased.

It's has been a shít storm since episode 1, but at least they were watchable, but this latest episode has knocked the show, from been one of the greatest show ever, which is sad, because the high i got from seeing S1 way back (2016), lasted a whole year! 😔

Even if the film is set in 2025, we both know the responses on this thread will be the same as long as they see a LGBT scene in it.

I’m genuinely curious if LGBT viewers also lose their minds and crash out whenever straight couples have sex scenes in movies? If a scene bothers you, the simplest solution is to skip it.

People need to accept a basic reality, there are many LGBT individuals in America and Europe. It’s unrealistic to expect their presence, or stories reflecting them to be completely absent from Western films. Representation follows demographics, it’s not a conspiracy.

This new color grading on NL is trash. The color makes it hard to see things properly.
