I was under the impression Partey was the one stalling while eyeing Barca and Saudi

He should have at least signed with someone he could have sued for unpaid wages after the court case. The Police really messed up his finances with the timing of this charge. He will never earn a good wage again, I hope he has saved enough for the rest of his life
Should still be able to pull 100k weekly.

Seems Arsenal knew of the impending charges and were stalling contract renewal on their part.

Really diabolical of the Arsenal management if true.
Tf are you taking about? They didn't renew because he demanded higher wages.

Atiku shot himself on the foot in 2023. He will not try it again.

It wasn't Atiku's fault. Obi left the party, did you expect him to choose someone outside the party as his running mate? When will obidients stop running away from accountability?

Odiegwu....Oga nobody go beat you 4 here, so no dey lie give yourself. You claim you don’t defend APC, but the moment Tinubu gets called out, you dive into the ring like John Cena.

And immediately, Obi and others who aren’t even in power become your punching bags. You no dey play defence for APC, but somehow you’re their attacking midfielder with full stamina. Just admit say na the same jersey all of una dey wear, no dey lie.
No difference between Airmark and Gloriousgbola. They're both APC supporters afraid of admitting that they love APC.

Just negodu!! So, na this kind of person wan save Nigeria? This man is only fighting for his own personal gain and agenda.

https://www.nairaland.com/8466619/atiku-abubakar-not-leader-tonyebarcanista

This is a pattern! Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has never stayed in a party past two election cycles.

He was a founding member of PDP and became Vice President of Nigeria in 1999. He won reelection in 2003, and that was it. He bolted after the second election cycle.

He joined Action Congress in 2006, clinched its presidential candidacy, but lost in the 2007 election. After that election cycle Atiku ditched AC and returned to PDP in 2010 after President Umaru Yaradua’s death. He spent just one election cycle in AC.

Back in PDP Atiku competed for the 2011 presidential ticket but fell to President Goodluck Jonathan. He grew distant in PDP and ultimately jumped to the newly formed APC merger in 2014. He spent only one election cycle in PDP.

In APC he entered the presidential primary but placed third behind first runner up Rabiu Kwankwaso and the eventual winner General Muhammadu Buhari. He abandoned APC in 2018 for a third spell in PDP. He spent just one election cycle in APC.

He secured PDPs presidential candidacy for the 2019 election but lost. He deserted the party yet returned in 2021. In 2022 he grabbed the partys ticket again for the 2023 election but lost to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Just like in 2007 Atiku has now forsaken PDP for his newest venture ADC. He spent only one election cycle in PDP.

Ironically each time he exits PDP he stirs factions and hypes his departure with media spectacles but always ends up on the losing side.

Should he lose the 2027 presidential election it would hardly shock anyone to see him abandon ADC.

Tonye Barcanista
TonyeBarcanista is a disgrace. He has been bought by wike.
He wasn't like this back in the day.

Obidients are in this mess because they actually convinced themselves Peter Obi was some kind of saint, like he wasn’t cut from the same dirty cloth as the rest of them.

There are two types of Obidients.

First, the delusional ones. These ones move like a cult. Say one bad thing about Obi and they’ll hunt you like you insulted their ancestor. If you’re spotted vibing with someone outside their echo chamber, they’ll label you a sellout. In their eyes, Obi is the Messiah, flawless and untouchable.

Then there’s the second group, the rational ones. Small in number, but they see things clearly. They know Obi isn’t any different from the usual suspects. Just another smooth-talking politician in native wear, playing the same rigged game.
@kingtom it's the ones in the first category that will be looking like fools now.

BAT has used his hijack of INEC and the Judiciary to destroy opposition parties. Hence the coalition. It has become inevitable. But for it to work, Pete Obi must be the candidate

Not trying to be tribalistic, but I’ve noticed people from a certain tribe have been crying non-stop on X since the coalition was announced. Is it by force to remain in PDP or LP? It’s now obvious Tinubu was the one pulling the strings behind all the chaos in both parties.

The worst option is for both to contest in different parties

I stand with the coalition. This comes at a price of my ideological principles.

I became obidient because I hungered for a people-led political revolution that would sweep out the old guard and usher in a new administration of the people, for the people and by the people. Enough of old men robbing is in broad daylight while we hopelessly watched on but it seems that dream has become utterly fanciful.

I am too angry with Peter obi. He thoroughly mismanaged the obidient movement, he has proven to be an ineffectual leader of men and politician, a gross inability to inspire followership. The failings of the labor party rests squarely on obi's shoulder. Better politicians would have grown that movement to be a political power house but what you have is everyone who once genuinely believed in him leaving him one by one. He offers no pathway forward. Yes, he's a man of integrity, yes, he's a brilliant technocrat but you must also be a brilliant politician too to get you to where you can apply your knowledge for the country.

I align with the coalition because I am desperate for the APC to leave power. We are at the brink of a one party state, the same way we feared the total domination of PDP is the same situation arising. I hope the APC is pushed out by the masses so that the leaders would always know that our voices matter.

As it is right now, there is lawless impunity by our leaders because they feel that we do not matter. I hope that changes and I enjoin you all to support the coalition on that basis.
You're a wise man.
