This is exactly why Nigeria as a country can never move forward. We accept anything they shove down our throat, we worship mediocrity. Nigerian football is a total mess just like every other thing in Nigeria. A league where the referees can be beaten up right in front of security operatives at will, a league where a single person not up to 20years can interrupt a match without interference, a league that hardly records an away win, a league where players are signed by a mere telephone conversation no paper work whatsoever, a league where a goat runs into the field during match, a league where a club owner beats up players from the opponent side, a league where players are owed 2years salaries, league run by politicians etc... I can go on and on. How do you expect sane people to waste their time on a league as this?
