Food › Re: What Do You Add To Cut Down On Salty Taste Of Food? by Tendd:
Obolo soup can drain the salt content and make the soup tasteless, although l don't know how the salt works latter in the body.
I however don't add salt to alot of carbohydrates like rice, potatoes, yam, spagetti, noodles etc.No need for it,only trained my tongue so far to get used to it and it has adapted.l don't get it, when people fry ripe plantain and add salt on it.Some do it before and after frying. What is the essence of adding salt on yam, sweet potato,Irish potato etc?
This together with a regular exercise has helped reduce my blood pressure level.
Culture › Re: Moses Theophilus Kenibara Dies After Failed Liposuction Surgery by Tendd: 10:20am On Oct 12
Not difficult, only a proper and consistent training.A running shoes with cushions is essential to prevent injuries.
Pacesetter123:
Did I hear you say 5-10km distance running?
Do you know a 10km distance?
Why should we attempt that just for an exercise?
Are we Tobi Amusan , Blessing Okabare or Udobong Ekpo?
Politics › Re: Northern Youths Are Pulling Down Any Billboard That Carries Pictures Of Tinubu by Tendd: 8:26pm On Oct 11
These are children na.This country is a gory reality.Sadly, some APC zealots would have cheered them up,if a similar thing was done on oppositions.

So far,no condemnation has been heard from APC regarding the diabolic and awful remarks from their followers.

It does but takes time.Just be consistent.
TechCapon:
it's too late for that. Taking walks can never reduce this amount of weight
Culture › Re: Moses Theophilus Kenibara Dies After Failed Liposuction Surgery by Tendd:
Most Nigerian men are either fat or overweight.Your big or protruded stomach is an indicator of a poor health and a predictor of a premature death. Our women generally are fat, some already from 20 years. Most have been hoodwinked into believing that a so called big yanch, full option, big body etc might attract men and so they end up overeating themselves. This makes many to become fat which often is difficult to loose.Mr macaroni, Nollywood, Afrobeats, skits videos etc eulogizing fat bum bum are not helping matters.Slump and die is very rampant among fat people, women most especially.

Most Nigerians generally can't run a 5km,10k distance or brisk walk for a few kilometers. The ones living in the diaspora, also top the chart as an unhealthy demographic. The women are either fat or obese with the men creeping closer.I watched a UK fitness run event recently online, and of over 17000 participants, only 46 Nigerians took part whereas South Africans, Indians came out in their numbers.
A clear pointer of a people that are likely going to become fat because of physical inactivity and die sooner.

I don't understand Why APC does not condemn all these senseless and diabolic remarks from their supporters and representatives.

I hope he is made to work to provide for his own food in prison, not tax payer's money. We must begin to apply similar sentences in Nigeria.
Travel › Re: I Now Understand Why My Village Was Almost Empty While Growing Up by Tendd: 1:46pm On Oct 10
Rural communities in some countries can feel very liveless and desolate. Most people often leave for urban areas in seach of job opportuinities. In Nigeria,it's more of insecurity.Little or no government presense or institutions to protect the people living in these communities, hence the rural -urban migration. For example, yesterday a group of thugs were seen parading an elderly woman in Enugu and branding her as a witch, villages are being sacked in kwara and many places in the North. When lives and properties are not protected, many would flee.
Health › Re: Sexual Health In Your 50s And Beyond: What Changes And What Doesn't by Tendd:
What one should ask is,why some people in their 50s,60s,70s and beyond are full of vitality, strength, agility, testosteron etc while others in a similar age bracket are sapped, weak, frail, tend to walk slow, needing help etc.

Study shows most middlle age Nigerian adults can barely run a 5km race or brisk walk for up to 10.000 steps. These are clear indices of those who are likely to live a healthy and long life to those who wouldn't.No prayers or wishful thinking can solve that.

This is very much observed among Nigerians living abroad, who look mostly fat or overweight.

To grow old is mandatory but how we age is within our control.
Crime › Re: AAU Lecturer, Mathew Uwuigbe Dies In Hotel 'After Meeting With Sex Worker' by Tendd: 9:25pm On Oct 07
It's unfortunate.Like l often say,fat kills.A lot of Nigerians are fat or overweight but don't know it.

Worst are the Nigerians living abroad.

Men with big or protruded stomach are carrying a disease and that's not healthy,as it is an increased risk factor for most cardiovascular problems.A poor endurance fitness can lead to heart failure even during sex, stress, anxiety, panic etc.

Solution:Lift weights consistently for muscle strength, cognitive function and stronger bone density.Jog/run, brisk walk, swim or cycle every week for a better heart health.

Warning:lf you don't follow the solutions, you won't live long and would die before 54,as it is expected in Nigeria.
Politics › Re: A Germany-Based Nigerian Crying Seeing How Nigerians Are Suffering (Video) by Tendd: 11:22am On Oct 07
Why not compare us with our fellow Africans first? We still rank the lowest in human development index in Africa.Poverty capital, lowest life expectancy in the world, highest out of school children etc. Most Nigerians that do comment here on Nairaland are relatively young, below 30 or so but one thing they all have in common is that, they don't have their both parents alive.Either Father or mother is dead.ln some cases both.We live the least in the world and that is pathetic.
lamentor78:
Look at these idiots, why not compare us with our fellow Africans first. A develop first world country like Germany is what you are comparing 4th world like Nigeria.

Give this same idiot crying a political office and check him in one year, he would have bought several houses and planning to get a private jet.

Is easy to criticize people in government but ask yourself are those in government aliens or Nigerians.

Hausa, fulani , Yoruba , Ijaw , Kanuri ,ibo, Christian, Muslims have rule Nigeria....what has changed.

The mentality of an African man is to oppress his fellow African

Celebrities › Re: Cubana Chief Priest Shows Off His Weight-Loss Progress by Tendd:
Brilliant,Most Nigerian adults, above 25 years are either fat or overweight, women most especially. The men have big or protruded stomach.

Nigerians living in the diaspora are worst and rank high among other unhealthy demographic.

I have commented on Cubana's weight, when l watch him online and felt he might die young and leave behind his family and everything he has worked for.I don't think he is even up to 40 years.Being Fat or overweight, leads to different chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, stroke, gouts,High BP,heart failure, some form of cancer and premature death. Most victims of slump and die cases are often overweight or obese.

I hope his journey will inspire others because it takes not only motivation but discipline to cut down on excess fat.

My countrymen, everyday is a horrible news. The other day,a Nigerian was caught in the UK,having intercourse with an animal in an animal farm where he worked.
We have much women over here in Nigeria,do visit home on vacation and look for a woman. We understand some of you are busy and may be sex-starved but all these sexual assault and rape every now and then ain't healthy.

Enjoyed, huh. Most Nigerians don't know that some nationals never leave their country, even on vacations, because everything abounds within.Very few Americans have a USA passport, they only travel within their country. The french are also a people that hardly leave France.Contrary to us here in Nigeria, whether, rich, poor, wealthy, president,
senator, actress, influencer, content creator etc, everyone just eager to leave at every chance.
Romance › Re: For Ladies Who Still Ask Why Men Are Not Approaching Them by Tendd:
I have seen quite many videos online lately on that subject and l wonder what's the fuss really. Some men don't want the embarassment they often get from women and have decided to keep their peace.
Women on the other hand, have been complaining over the years that men should leave them alone and not bother them when they are out.And now men are listening and have adjusted.
I try not to stare, let alone approach a woman.Have built my self-confidence over the years on other things like exercising and working.

You don't need to feel a little less.Gym is not a measure of affluence at all.We must all exercise our body either way to stay healthy and live longer. Most of what you get at the gym,you can do it at home or outdoors anyway. So many videos online to watch and follow.

Investment › Re: Nigerians Can Now Buy Shares Through Moniepoint Agents, Says Dangote Refinery by Tendd: 9:10pm On Sep 24
If, you have 200K sitting in your account, do take this opportunity and invest it on the IPO.The stock market is very volatile and it's difficult to say how much you can make in a year but it often works for long -term investors, from 3 years upwards.IPOs has made many people millionaires and billionaires.Seplat for example had an lPO of 576 Naira, but it's over 14.900 Naira per share today. Those who were patient to wait are seeing the capital gains. Don't waste your money by drinking, clubbing, giving to women, smoking etc.

Why waste your money on beer rather than invest your money on shares? If you invest that money over time,do you know how much you make?
Omenlon:
Shares is not meant for poor people they should stop deceiving innocent Nigerians. You can only enjoy dividend of your investment if you buy reasonable amount of shares from any organization. How do you invest 50k you would have used in taking care of your immediate needs or to drink beer to receive 2k as dividend at end of the fiscal year?
Investment › Re: Nigerians Can Now Buy Shares Through Moniepoint Agents, Says Dangote Refinery by Tendd: 4:18pm On Sep 24
Way to go Awareness is key.Just the fact that people are informed that, investing their money on stocks can yield returns in the future is enough. An average Nigerian spends over things that are worthless and adds no value. The bars and beauty saloons are often filled with people that are merely wasting thier money,so understanding how those money could be spend on something worthy like the capital markets is encouraging.
