Certainly not a corporate job. You need to be specific. Industries differ, ditto characteristics. Yes, an interview goes beyond dressing, but there are industries where HOW you are dressed is extremely important and there are even some companies where if one does not dress appropriately, s/he loses the job.

Not everything in life follows regular procedure. We breath through our nose but we can also breath opening our mouth. FY1 it was corporate Job and even with one of the best in the industry. I agree with u about how u are dressed during not only an interview but even meeting etc. But there are always exceptions no matter how corporate the atmosphere may be!!!
Same with my current Job..my dressing was not 100% if I should consider the importance of the interview.
