myright: I just hope the police and army won't distrupt the rally no, they won't. 1. Biafrans have paid heavy price with their bloods, Nigeria is now careful. killing unarmed protesters gives the agitations more strength. 2. Osinbajo cannot just order the killing of his own people. 3. Buhari is not around. |

if it does not force those who think they own all of us to have a rethink, then let's go our separate ways.

laribari: Are u kidding me Bro? I don't subscribe to killing him o as kanu is a brain and would be useful in any way but let me react to what you said.
What will kil him achieve? PEACE!
Nigeria in a stone age? REALLY (FG is even tolerable).
Kanu is the only person for now that can drive biafra and move the igbo masses. It's like a chess game. Once you take off the king it's game over. Look out for a fantastic movie titled the "the great wall". The only way to eradicate any stubborn or difficult opposition is to take away the queen or king. When ojukwu gave up, it was game over.
Thank God our govt still have conscience in that area and can't kill. If you were a western country (that you claim are not in a stone age) they would have silenced him. It's the truth! Oyinbos are very corrupt too and their politics they play is the highest.
In reacting to your question, it will be of benefit to Nigeria to remove him and I think if he moving into that direction if he leaves the SE as it will lead to fracas among his follwers and Lagos opposition but it will be of more benefit to the igbos if he stays alive. They are him.
Osibanjo is a man of peace but everything has limit. Kanu has enjoyed so much from buhari's ill health and disappearance, so let him not cross his boundary. Not all igbos even want a divided Nigeria and going to Lagos will come with mixed reactions and igbos will blame him if he fails. If na jazz e dey fail oo! Me nor understand this kind confidence if you think that killing Kanu will bring peace, then I think peace must have a new definition... I have nothing more to add.. its not really my business anyway. of course,I must admit that KANU and his movement has waken up lot of people. and what is happening in Biafra can influence even the middle belt. |

Politics › Re: I Sense A Revolution Comming In This Country by Terkimbi01: 1:38pm On Jul 31, 2017 |
Vladdo: A #Revolution is coming!! Whether we see/like it or not..
Personally, I love that Nnamdi guy's courage, however questionable his methods/ motives may be. I am sure his continued heat makes a lot of folks think along these lines. Were it not for the ethnic front, Nnamdi's support would have easily and overwhelmingly spread across board like the Arab Spring.
Sentiments apart, besides the fact that the SouthEast is yet to produce the number one man at the helm (in recent history), the (everyday) people (in the SE) suffer the same fate as (everyday) people in other parts of Nigeria.
The catch here is simply lack of accountability and transparency. And this is seen among those ruling and those being ruled alike. We must realise that Corruption transcends ethnic or religious affiliations.
It is however unfortunate that we have a situation where a paltry ten percent controls ninety percent of what happens in our society.
Now, the deal is/will be, to get this ten percent and use them as scapegoats one way or another. Even if my own father, uncle, relative, or myself happen to be among this group, deal with them/us decisively to serve as a deterrent to the next crop of leaders.
When the WILL is there, anything is achievable. The "one Nigeria" we have carried on our heads SHOULD NOT and CANNOT continue this way!
Remember, as Ernesto "Che" Guevara once said, "The Revolution is not an APPLE that falls when it is ripe. You have to MAKE IT FALL." If Biafra was not his mantra. He would not have gotten such a follower-ship. I am sure of that. |

Now I know the North is truly scared of the emergence of Independent states from Nigeria.
As Nnamdi Kanu is the symbol of the current agitation, they hate him with soooooo much passion.
I don't see any need of him going to Kaduna, but if he has the courage to and ene up going there, then me too will plan to be there with him.
This is a sweet but powerful revolution, I want to be part of it. |

Biafrans have rejected the so called elite and political class.
This is the beginning of the real revolution
Biafra or no Biafra, I wish this rejection of the political class can spread all over Nigeria.
who knows, the era when the elites take the people for granted may come to an end soon.
And I must pay tribute to Nnamdi Kanu.

Warship: If the Yorubas are wise, they should join the rally.
This will frighten the Northerners to hurriedly accept Restructuring.
Yorubas should also march alongside the Biafrans with Oduduwa flag.
Fani Kayode, Odumakin, Fayose and OPC leaders should lead the rally on the Odua side so as to frighten the Northerners to accept Restructuring as a better alternative to Breakup. I like your suggestion. very intelligent suggestion. who knows his I can reach the Southern Kaduna guy? the Middle Belt can also match along with IPOB and OPC. |

iDashNaira: Our call is for unity, fairness and justice but you are at liberty to start the petition you pointed out. The conversation we want to drive is a conversation around what Nigeria can become if our leaders become more responsible.
Emotions are good but clarity of purpose requires one to do away with emotions and focus on the goal; UNITY. When you bring that focus to bear on the Nigerian discourse, then questions that can be asked (may include but not limited to): 1. What does Nigeria mean to we all beyond celebrating #NigerianJollofRice ? 2. What does it mean to be Nigerian beyond coming together to watch our National Soccer Team play? 3. What can inspire our sense of patriotism? 4. How have our leaders contributed to the solutions and problems? 5. What can I do for my country?
Nigeria is worth my while and time. Thank you #AriseOchallenge I used to waste my time, energy and resources on the possibilities of a great Nigeria Never again!!!!!! its a waste trying to wake a dead horse. |
