kaeto: True! The yorubas are working hard against GEJ, using every necessary tool to bring him down and amaechi is the tool they are using now. Be that as it may, i expect my yoruba brothers who are hier to noise making ancestors to always remember they have not made any president in Nigeria before and that whoever they support loses. MKO's case was different, all the regions made him. I mean look at all the people the yorubas supported in times past, they all failed. From awolowo, olu falaye, buhari in 2003, atiku in 2007, nuhu ribadu in 2011. The list is endless. They make good threats as well as political losers. Tinubu also knows he can't father an arrogant son like amaechi so why the hypocrisy? Its a pity amaechi's hands are not clean, with multi billion dollar refinery in ghana, investments littered all over the world, me think his wealth fuels his arrogance.
pls don't bring ethnicity into this matter , how can you say the yorubas are supporting him ?even acn members have distanced themselves away from him ,Yorubas are matured politicians that knows when to fight and when to beat a retreat .most of the people advising him to go and make peace with the president or leave the party are yorubas , the point is he knows that the moment he leaves pdp he is finished , the very same reason atiku refused to leave pdp on time during obj time.
don't take tinubu statement on any national political issue as a general consensus statement from teh yorubas , tinubu is just a politician that is all

Ola one: Because it is not true, Sir. I mean the Coca Cola story. Ask yourself: are these 2 people immortal? Do these 2 people have emeritus status at Coca Cola? I mean are they employees of Coca Cola for life? They kept the secrets to the recipe 100 years ago and in this 21st century, they are still the custodians of the recipes in question, while still working at Coca Cola?

This is super story jare.
i was about to write the same thing too ,and are these 2 people the only one moving from one coca cola plant to another all over the world to produce ?coca cola has over 200 plants how can only 2 people know the recipe ?

gej can be slow in taking decisive actions but very very ruthless when he finally take actions ,the only reason this man amaechi is feeling this way is that he knows that Mr president may not move against him now , because he wont want to over heat the polity and system, but he must realize that taking the silence of Mr President for cowardice will be the greatest mistake of his political career

Chubhie: Anyone can now take a shot at Mr President and gets praised for it? Mr President is just too gentle for you lots but history has proven that the worst dictators were once considered weak. GEJ may never disappiont in that regards. Gej should keep his focus from these distractions. I see payback 2015 and beyond. They should all be afraid and do all now to stop him.........
we need that ticket first , then they will know who the master is

slimghost: Either you have mental problem or you are a born sycophant! Sorry to burst your bubble but Lloyd will face the full wrath of the law. Only an animal behaves the way he did and only his type would support his action. Clown!
You should have ignored him, after reading his post I saw that it was pointless answering him back
Politics › Re: Chidi Lloyd Was Tortured & Blindfolded Back Into Port-Harcourt by texaco1: 6:52pm On Jul 27, 2013
wirinet: First I am. not in support of Chidi macing Chinda, it is a barbaric act. He should face the full wrath of the law ( if he is not protected by the same law by way of legislative immunity). But I am just using my lay mans knowledge of the law. Chinda obviously rushed to the hospital to draw sympathy. You should know most of the people we have as state assembly members and national assembly members have been identified as thugs, 419ers, drug barons, etc. So expecting Lloyd,Bipi, Chinda and so to be genlemanly and fight by pushing and shoving is being too utopic. I am even surprised star bottles were not broken and used to stab each other.

First the mace that should act as the murder weapon was not brought from home by chinda but was high-jacked from the floor to be used to drive Bipi and his group. If he premediated to commit murder he would have brought the murder weapon with him.

Ok, I hope I have time to take you up on your challenge, we would have to examine the macing video frame by frame and put all relating press statements into consideration in the written address.

my mail address is same as my username with a yahoo.com
This is bottom,if chidi wasn't caught on tape he wouldn't have been arrested or detained.the tape has tilted the case in favour of bilip, whether bilip or whatever he calls himself made a confession in another video doesn't count.the point is chidi was caught on video hitting someone with a mace and that is the evidence that will be used against him.
Whether the anti amaechi camp came with a battalion or platoon is irrelevant here.
Someone is assumed innocent of a crime until a case is proving beyond reasonable doubt and in this case ,the video points to chidi as the guilty one

War Horse: The real reason Mr. Biggs fell this bad is little to do with bad customer service. Rather the business they are into was the cause. Many will say Mr. Biggs was into the business of fast-food. For me, capital NO. They were into the business of selling class satisfaction. Why did you ever go to Mr. Biggs to get whatever you eat? My guess? You wanted to please your girl or you wanted to give yourself a treat for a month end pay or your financial level demanded that Mr. Biggs was the place or you wanted to experience eating in a cozy cozy conditioning. Hardly, maybe a few times, did you go there because you wanted food that fast.

Now, I was in Benin when Mr.Biggs came in. The queues were busting the glass doors. It was the only one back then in time. The wealthy in town flocked there. I remember see some Edo house of Assembly guys there. It was a thing of pride to walk the streets with a Mr. biggs paper bag. Guys saved money to give their babes a one time treat there. Then came another (can't remember the name now) at Airport-road - I think it was owned by the one Mr.Prest. People started to opt for the new one in town. Yes, maybe there were some difference in the taste of the food. But one glaring difference was the look of the place. It was far better than that of Mr. Biggs. Then came Kaddies, with new looks and new attractions, it won people from the previous operators and so on and so forth - Tantalizers, chicken republic etc.

It was clear. The only way to stay competitive in this business was to put on added impressive looks or physical attractions. Interestingly, operators like GT foods are still in business. Why? Because their business is selling food not selling class satisfaction. GT sells food at comparatively lesser price in basic decent places. They even open outlets in student populated areas.

Much of Mr. Biggs outlets are still wearing the looks they used in winning the so called class market. It is just that those looks have been obliterated by the new ones. Just imagine if Mr. Biggs opens something like what Orientals have in Lagos at VI. Men!, they would be back in Business but for a while - while "it" lasts.

McDonald is operating in a country that is less class oriented as Nigeria. Selling in a class sensitive society requires difference rules of the game.

Mr. Biggs has two options and option one is - build more attractive outlets (possibly name them after some of our celebrities)and sell the same thing as they do now grin grin grin (Nigeria funny o) or sell food in basic but decent outlets to the average class. Doing business in Nigeria na wahala cry cry cry grin grin grin
I love this post

Politics › Re: Chidi Lloyd Was Tortured & Blindfolded Back Into Port-Harcourt by texaco1: 4:21pm On Jul 27, 2013
wirinet: As i said, attempted murder charge would be very difficult to prove. But if chinda had died, even a manslaughter case against Chidi would be difficult. You would have to prove that the macing alone killed the victim. As you was shown on the video, honourable chinda was beaten by three different people, so the courts would have a difficult time deciphering which of the blows or combination of blows actually killed him.

And besides why are the other 2 assailants being arrested with chidi Lloyd. It seems they are only after chidi.
The bottom line of the whole issue is that chidi walked straight into a trap, the anti amaechi group knew definitely their actions will bring a violent reaction
Politics › Re: Chidi Lloyd Was Tortured & Blindfolded Back Into Port-Harcourt by texaco1: 1:17pm On Jul 27, 2013
slimghost: I don't know why some animals here are calling for bipi's arrest! Trying to impeach a speaker is not a criminal offense and there is no video evidence of him attacking anybody. The only video evidence we hv seen is that of one animal called Llyod "aluuing" his colleague. That man should be ssent to the zoo or a psychiatric hospital because only an animal or a mentally deranged fellow would do that!
Thank you, someone committed an offence but was smart enough to make sure that there was no evidence against him,the second person committed another offence and allowed himself to be recorded ,maybe he thought he was acting a nollywood movie

lurvy: Please I want to find out if blindfolding somebody means the same thing as torture..?
From the article I read here;Somebody was flown by aeroplane and landed at the airport and then blindfolded into a black maria and the next thing I read is that he has been tortured... did anyone see him being tortured?? or its just a ploy to garner public sympathy??
Thanks for asking them these wonderful simple questions.

Rolly83: My Guy u are totally correct,i even wonder how ''Macdonalds'' did it....
it all boils down to management, that is why most of these successful companies don't spare any amount to hire the best hands from any where in the world.look at sheraton for example and so many hotels that have maintained their high standard for a very long time

Businesstools: At the Management School,I was taught that a product or business undergoes five major stages, introduction, growth, maturity, decline and death.I guess Mr Biggs has reached the last stage.
You are totally wrong.why is it that products like pepsi, coca cola are still in the markets after so many years and still waxing strong?this business school theory of urs I guess only applies to nigerian or african businesses

princesammmy: How can a whole president CAME to supervise the torture of a defender of democracy?
With all the gbagun in your post,it still doesn't make any sense.can you pls point out to me where in the whole write up it is written that he has been tortured?most of you just read a topic heading and start typing.
You call someone that was caught on tape smashing a mace against the head of another legislator a defender of democracy!
If the others were smart enough not to be caught on camera then I think chidi was just fooooolish to allow himself to be recorded.
