This is the first concrete step that needs to be taken, very similar to what the ijebu ode people too are planning.my advise is this don't make this group too large ,this is very important ,10 is ok anything above that will bring problems .know urselves very well and make plan to buy as soon as possible ,nigeria is a nation of 160million people no matter what u bring in someone will buy, even if u bring in a chinesse man I know someone will buy him.so meet and act,I always follow nike logo which says "just do it"

Music/RadioRe: Mavin Records And Don Jazzy’s Impotent Artistes by texaco1: 10:20pm On Jul 31, 2013
Dbanj will be the main loser ,don jazzy is a producer and if not for dbanj that was always calling his name noone will know him .don jazzy will eventually get another good artiste that will appeal to people but dbanj has no time because with each rubbish track that he churns out,his popularity diminishes so he has to start bringing out hit songs now

FEAR THEM... They will just come, pick your ideas, no contribution whatsoever... And they got cash, loads of cash I tell ya.
that is what i have been trying to tell you oooooo
the real people doing this importation business go directly to china with at least 3 million naira , tell me how can one person with 50k compete with them?they buy and ship it cheaper than your own buying price,so when they are selling they can sell almost at ur own cost price and still get their own profit .
somebody buying 1000 tablets at the rate of 30 to 40 dollars each , while the small importer here are buying the same at 80 dollars a unit and can even only buy 1 or 2!!!!
they dont talk here , they wont share any ideas , they just read and act .so while you guys are brainstorming for days they have already gone ahead to buy and execute their purchase .
you guys should follow the ijebu ode guys formula , it is the best .sorry if i sound harsh , just saying my mind undecided
I tire sad. I have been silent because I am currently serving and may not be effective, even though I suggested the JV idea to boister earlied suggestions. But the way people are childishly saying 'I rep,' 'I rep' is so funny...

My suggestion is, Lagos reps. should first meet and thereafter, they could expand to other major cities such as Abuja, PH, Benin City, Asaba..

But Lagos should be the prime focus for the half of this year.

When order is confirmed, the port authorities should be engaged, whoever has experience like the man above should also register his interest.

If this is slowly done, I see an emerging company that may rival the likes Konga and Jumia who pioneered online shopping in Nigeria.
Well I understand ,but believe me the jv won't work.most of the people saying I rep here and there will back out when it is time to throw the cash in.
What I initially thought was that a group of 5 or 10 will come together buy and split .definitely not everyone will finish selling his or her own items by the stipulated time to make another order which means some will stay will some will back out, that is life but as someone is backing out another person too will enter.after this group must have done business together for like 3months they will know the market.bringing in container of goods without solid network and infrastructure is futile.people should learn from ibos,a group of 20 trader will contribute money for one of them to go to china ,he will get the goods cheap ,bring it in and share it according to the money each person contributed, but now you guys have the internet you don't need to sponsor anyone to china all that is needed by the group is to identify a seller on AE ,the deal will be transparent for all in the group ,everyone contributes, gets his goods and does his or her own marketing.trust me they can't and they won't lose if they do it like that.because they will first brainstorm on the product to buy and the best competitive price to sell it fast

Jamji: thats the best that can come out of you. thats a pity
It is the best advice for u,because you want to sit down in front of a pc and make almost 1000 us dollars, someone has given you the best advise which is to start small with anything u can be selling physically withing ur enviroment or community and that with Gods help you will prosper ,but u are looking for an easy way to make money,if u keep up that mentality trust me u will lose even the small money u have with u.the BASIC TRUTH OF LIFE IS THERE IS NO SHORT CUT to SUCCESS.you have to sweat and labour and it is that sweat that GOD will turn to blessings in million folds.but if u think u can sit down in front of a pc and make 150k in two months , I think u should sleep and think twice ,in fact make it thrice

I don't think we should turn this thread socialising thread. this thread should be for deals link up
If you know u have an idea and need an investor to partner you in cash or expertise, just state ur name ,phone number or contact and what u want from ur prospective partner, all other communication apart from that should be kept away.you guys can make serious contacts and cash from this thread if you do this.ie
Name .boy
Location. Kano
Purpose .need a partner to join me in buying 500 pieces of wristwatch ,if interested contact me on bla bla bla
I may be wrong though
BusinessRe: Interested Partners For Importation Business Meeting Zone by texaco1: 12:32pm On Jul 29, 2013
@surveycash,
This method u are using won't work, try and do it this way.
Get a limited number of people that can invest 50k each they should be more than 5,that will total 250k .the 5 of you should meet face to face to decide what u will bring in.
Buy the goods in bulk, the major aim should be to get large quantity at a cheaper price ,when the goods arrive ,share it among urself and let everyone go his or her own way.all this I represent here or there like school children answering a roll call isn't necessary.
Look at what the ijebu ode guys are planning ,they are trying to meet and I am sure once they meet they will agree on what to buy and how much to contribute .
Just my thought anyway
