I don't know why some people that hv nothing 2 offer r criticising ds guy. He revealed hw to download freely on playstore using "Shareapp" and many of u guys knew he made a significant contribution because many people can't afford paid apps. @Op, continue ur good work, even if u fail today, I blv with frantic effort u r making, u can still come out wt something wonderful. All d best. Tnx 4 ur efforts!
PLease stop making excuses for stealing stuff. If you cannot afford paid apps, don't use them! There are very few paid apps that cost more than $4.99, and that's less than N1000 if you pay with your Interswitch card. Even the Modern Combat 5 that loads of you guys were downloading, it costs only a little over N1000. Skip lunch for two days and pay for these stuff instead of stealing from devs.

I wonder when you will graduate to stealing cars because you cannot afford them.

http://www.techrez.com/2014/10/reasons-to-hate-apple-pay.html
Apple Pay was rolled-out yesterday, alot have been said about the payment service since it was unveiled at the September 9 event. However, users can now use the service and have real-time experience.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has been very optimistic about Apple Pay, Google Wallet was an embarrassing attempt to take on PayPal and Microsoft has equally tried to destroy PayPal’s dominance, but all attempts have hit the brick-wall. Can Apple Pay be the missing link?

We examine two reasons why Apple Pay may just be the right thing, but not rather too late.
You Need An iPhone 6 Or 6 Plus

In Tim Cook words, “Apple Pay will forever change the way all of us buy things.” But this is far from it, Apple Pay can’t change the way all of us buy things because you can’t use Apple Pay, unless you have an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus.

Ouch…

I am not sure Cook thought about the rest of the world before making that statement, iOS doesn’t control the global markets, there is already an estimated one billion devices running on Android and Figures like this, give enough reason to view the Apple Pay with scepticism.

The Apple Pay is currently available to a little above 10 million users, the reason of this is because, Apple uses a method to send data from the new model of iPhones to a checkout reader, already being used in over 200,000 retail locations. The checkout reader can gather information from other wallets and credit cards that come with a chip. The bad news, however, if you have older models of the iPhone, Apple Pay can’t work for you because it doesn’t have NFC.

That’s like Apple shooting itself at the back. When the rest of the world moved on with NFC, th
Apple just announced 39 million iPhones sold in the last quarter. The vast majority of those are the iPhone 6/6+.

Writing a post whingeing about a contactless payment system not working for phones without contactless hardware is rather strange.

I wonder, does this fellow realize that all he's done is to most likely be sending all his data to harvesters in China or russia?

All these dodgy apps, installed from dodgy websites. Replete with ads and (most likely) keyloggers.

But also bigger, worse battery life, heavier and far fewer tablet specific apps. Not to mention more expensive.

So you'd pick an inferior experience and a subpar ecosystem just to save maybe N500 or N1000 a month? Or maybe nothing at all since most BB10 plans in Nigeria work on Android and carriers like Air tel are already offering discounted Android bundles?

It's simple. Don't go for cheap phones. Androids might be cheap but expensive to maintain.

Blackberry Z3 is ₦ 38,000 and GLO bis is ₦ 1000 for 3GB. That's the best for me plus you can install android apps in it too.
Why would anyone buy a Blackberry Z3, and for that amount?

kay29000:
Thanks for this comment. I have been eyeing the Z3 for a couple of months now...you just gave me a reason to actually get it. Thanks again.
Go and buy a Motorola Moto G. FAR better value than the Z3, and most likely cheaper. Plus, you get Android 5.0.

I have said it so many times that the issue of boko haram is closely linked to pdp presidential ticket. The plan was to cause so much chaos and destruction to make people shout and revolt against a gej nomination and to make the pdp convention primaries a hard one for gej to cross, but unfortunately gej secured the ticket without even going for the primaries. Now the politicians sponsoring boko haram knows the game is up and that they must join the wagon or get left behind ,the ceasefire been negotiated is for the group generals and foot soldiers .the real sponsors of this terror group are now busy campaigning nationwide for their political parties .the insurgency was just to make gej reelection impossible but as for now gej has the last laugh
Of course conspiracy theorists can also speculate that Boko Haram is linked to an attempt to discredit the APC cheesy

That, of course, would be a theory as brainless as yours. It's been obvious for years that GEJ would seek re-election and win the primaries. Can you mention one person that had a chance of wresting control from GEJ in the past one year?

Rubbish. I thought you m0r0ns that were so desperate to pin Boko Haram on political opponents had all been cured of this insanity. Apparently I was wrong.

Why didn't you tell your audience the current ECA

How much of our reserve do you know was used by Mallam Sanusi Lamido to stabilise the Naira?

What do you know about International Oil Politics in relation to Neo-colonialism and how Nigeria is faring?

Mr Socialist, nobody promised anything on N97 per litre rather the speech was made on N141 per litre.

Stop deceiving gullible Nigerians with these kindergarten lies.
Yes, the speech was made with N141 per litre. So since the FG got more than 20% of the reduction they were looking for, it's only apt to ask for 20% of the grandiose plans they promised.

Just to get this in.

I will be closely monitoring this thread to see if any m0r0n agrees with this inane post. This will be a good way to identify Nairalanders that are terminally daft and whose opinions can safely be ignored.

I should also state that in my view, this inane article helps to propagate ideas that can lead many Ebola patients to refuse medical care, reject healing from care-givers and help in the spread of the virus. Anyone who propagates this is an opponent in the fight against Ebola and should be prosecuted if possible.

Just my two cents
Politics › Re: The Rails Are Back & Alive. by texazzpete(m): 8:17am On Oct 17, 2014
Actually, rail rejuvenation was one of Yar'Adua's 'Seven point Agenda', it started with him. Giving GEJ all the credit without any mention of Yar'Adua is terrible.

http://allafrica.com/stories/200904220407.html
Abuja — Activities would soon commence in the rail sub-sector of the nation's transport industry as President Umaru Yar'Adua is expected to present the Railway Reform Bill to the Federal Executive Council at its meeting, in Abuja, today.

The Bill which would repeal the Nigerian Railway Corporation Act, 1955 and provide a platform for the introduction of private sector concessionaires, promotion and regulation of competition in the industry would be one of seven Bills slated to be presented to the council
I think people should shun hypocrisy. You cannot lambast people for blaming GEJ for everything negative yet turn around to credit him for everything positive.

Yes. Covenant University is the type of University I admire; a morally sound institution.

Why should a student pierce her ear in two to three places? Is she a commercial sex worker?

It's high time our Public Universities started suspending those high class prostitutes in our institutions of higher learning. For example, my school- Uniport. The high rate of "Aristocracy" over here is alarming!
Your problem stems from a chronic lack of common sense.

I'm somewhat conservative, so I still find double ear piercings jarring...but i cannot jump up and call anyone with multiple ear piercings 'a prostitute'. What kind of inane stereotyping is this?

Mass suspensions doesn't necessarily mean the students are morally much better.

Why must you people introduce tribalism into this?

it's a federal institution, let the VC be chosen on merit and not on tribal basis.

For valid reasons, consider leaving.

For reasons like "she is short and i want you to marry a tall person" or "You must not marry an Mbaise girl o! I heard they like money" you need to stand your ground.

CAN is an umbrella for the protection of the political interest of Christians in Nigeria.
You cant be killing Christians and CAN will keep quiet!
Because Pa Ayo spoke up, he is now a politician!

By the way, what is politics?
Why are northern politicians enforcing Sharia across Nigeria? Why is Nigeria a member of the OIC?
All past CAN leaders were shy and docile, none of them spoke up!
When Pa Ayo raised the issues, he is called names!

We dont say anything when thy force Islam and politics together, but once we complain, then we have committed crimes.

Enough.
Christian leaders have been speaking against killings of Christians in the North for decades now.

The 'speaking up' you people attribute to this man is just his spreading of a bigoted gospel of hate and intolerance. Nothing more. And I can see absolutely no evidence what his 'speaking up' has done anything to eliminate killings in the north by misguided elements.

You say he looks after the welfare of Christians. Yet even with hundreds of Chibok CHRISTIAN girls kidnapped, a Pastor with unlimited access to the Presidency could not even get GEJ to do anything concrete for THREE FREAKING WEEKS!

You're incorrigible.
