Politics › Re: Group Issues 7-day Ultimatum To Governor Fashola To Arrest, Prosecute T.B Joshua by texazzpete(m): 4:59pm On Sep 26, 2014
andyanders: The so called group is spiritually blind and as such can say whatever they like.

Prophet T. B Joshua's case cannot be compared with what Rev. King did.

No matter those calling for his prosecution and whatever they want on this man of God, it cannot CHANGE the LOVE God has for him and this situation will pass him by.

You so called group can do whatever you like to him, but God who sent him will also protect him. You group and others like you can ONLY kill the FLESH but you cannot kill the SPIRIT in him.

PROPHET T. B. JOSHUA, let them say whatever they want or whatever the prosecution may be, same Jesus faced while on earth and at the end HISTORY hasn't forgotten Him.

What you have done on earth within the period of your existence on the face of this earth, you have touched the life of the sick, the poor and the less privileged, nobody has done so in the history of Christianity.

When you die in Christ, you already will receive a reward of your work on earth here.
Christ while on earth was called all sorts of names and was crucified for doing nothing. No matter how those who hated you with passion, that will not change the love we have for you and the love God who sent you has for you.

Same way they called Christ's crucifixion when He never committed any sin.

People die by accident even with their cars and has any of you people waited to look into the strange Aircraft that hovered round the building before the collapse? The only thing now is just ' Crucify him' crucify him' that is just the slogan by you so called group and your likes.

If you now kill him, what have you achieved? Will his prosecution and incarceration bring back the life of the dead? Most of you also are asking for compensation and I now ask, will the money bring back the dead?

Prophet T.B.Joshua will pass through this and God will see him through.
Stop comparing his situation to Jesus Christ

Jesus did not lie. He did not seek to hide the truth. He did not pay out money to compromise others. He always stopped his followers from putting others in danger. He subjected himself to the laws of the land.

That is the difference

ollah1: Note 3 over 6+
- IR Blaster (Works as TV or Any electronic Remote Control)
- Support Wireless Charging
- Better multitasking because of Multi-Windows and with 300% MORE RAM (3 GB RAM vs 1 GB RAM)
- The powerful features of stylus(S Pen)

Loads more

6+ over Note 3
- iBend

6+ should be compared to Galaxy round and G Flex
Naturally you fail to mention things the iPhone 6 has over the competition

- better camera
- More powerful CPU
- 64bit vs 32 bit
- Much more powerful GPU
- Fingerprint Reader
- Smoother, lag free UI (despite having much less RAM)

It seems some of you are genuinely aggrieved that the iPhone 6 is the most powerful smartphone ever made right now cheesy

Same thing happened with the Niger Delta militants. Folks who ordered the deaths of innocents are now given a position of power In this administration.

moonraker: Tex, Thats not the issue. The issue or well, the fact here is that the Iphone 6 plus is bigger than the iphone 6. That in itself is enough

distinction btw both devices from a causal user perspective. Dont get me wrong though. The iphone 6 is big but for android switchers coming

from smartphones such as the galaxy note series or xperia, then it is quite small.

As for the iphone 6 plus issues, it all boils down to usage patterns.
dont mistake screen size for phone size. The iphone 6 has much bigger bezels than most android flagships to accommodate the big bezels. In the flesh, the 4.7 inch iPhone is very nearly as big as the 5.2 inch Galaxy S5.

Nah. Not likely to affect the 6. The size to thickness ratio is much better than the 6 plus.

spotit: in this case, the bigger the better. lol is it cos u got 6? get 6+ first and let's hear your balanced judgement
You've got to be joking.

I played with both at the Apple Store. There's nothing like 'balanced judgement' when both phones are essentially the same, apart from the size and OIS. While many people seem to like big screen sizes, i doubt anyone would consider 4.7 inches as 'too small'.

Tons of complaints about how big the 6+ is..and i've heard reports of quite a number of people either returning theirs or reselling them.

You may want to check this out

http://www.theverge.com/2014/9/22/6827863/apple-iphone-6-plus

Also, there have been reports of the 6 plus bending after days of normal use, because it's too thin for it's body size

Genuine kingship shouldn't be associated with any form of politics even if the royal person due for the throne is a baby or slowpoke, they would wait and make sure his offspring is due for that position..

please think about it, from my records I studied 19 states in Nigeria while in school, and our social studies thought as that too
Lol what do you know of 'genuine kingship'?
When medieval European leaders were forming allegiances with the Popes or by marriage, what do you call that?
The Kano Governor has a major say in who becomes Emir of Kano. If you intend to occupy that position, you need to be in accord with the Governor. Nobody said it was illegal.

Since Sanusi took the throne, I've been hearing loads of inane comments on him pursuing partisan politics. Yet since he became Emir, he is yet to say anything overtly political or throw his lot in with any party. I wish you people would leave him alone and focus on others more deserving of your ire.

He would rather desecrate that throne and bring more ridicule to the Kano emirate, mark my words!
What does visiting the Oba of Lagos instead of the Ooni of Ife have to do with someone being a 'religious bigot'?

Emir Sanusi was escorted to the Ikoyi residence of Tinubu by Oba Akiolu yesterday afternoon.

“The only thing I know is that it was a thank you visit to Asiwaju owing to the role he played in his emergence as the emir,” the source added.

all4naija: The NFC app scans both tags, QR code tag and NFC tag. You are the one missing it up by using the word read. Indeed, NFC scan tags better. You thought earlier it's not possible to use NFC for purchases. Please...!
You don't need to lie. Microsoft Tag is not an 'NFC app'. It has QR reader + NFC tag reader functionality.

You earlier came out boasting about using NFC to read QR codes. That is impossible. When you use Microsoft Tag to read QR codes, that's using the camera. And every iPhone since the original one has been able to read QR codes since 2008.

4Play: I believe there is some truth to the claims that the US is reluctant to offer certain equipment and intelligence but it is a complete red herring using it as justification for the South African debacle.

The US's reluctance stems from the likelihood that its equipment given to Nigeria will end up in the hands of Boko Haram. The Pentagon noted in a briefing to Congress that Nigerian soldiers are reluctant to fight. There are also major concerns about Nigerian soldiers' human rights violations. These are longstanding worries - same was experienced during the fight against MEND.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/us-eager-to-help-nigerian-search-for-girls-but-cautious-in-sharing-intelligence/2014/05/15/c5ad010e-dc5c-11e3-bda1-9b46b2066796_story.html
From what I understand, the statute in question prevents the US from funding or providing equipment to armies or armed groups suspected of human rights violations.

It doesn't explicitly block the SALE of weapons though. And it is only an American law... The idea that there's a massive sanction from many western nations preventing the Nigerian army from buying weapons is just ridiculous

Add to that the fact that we've patronized the Chinese and Russians much more in the past few decades and you realize this is just a red Herring to distract us ftom the real issues . The Russians and the Chinese are extremely willing to sell to us.

See link above.

When the FG wanted to place orders for new jets and helicopters, they informed us. They had no issues buying Chengdu Fighter Jets from China recently. Now suddenly they want to buy from the U.S.?

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Air_ForceThat Wikipedia link shows that most of our combat aircraft comes from Russia or China. Why would this change now? Even if there was a U.S. block, this would most certainly not affect purchases from China or Russia where we would definitely get aircraft at cheaper prices.

Why would you pay China or Russia with cash smuggled into another country?

anyone who believes the simplistic and implausible excuses these paid hacks are feeding us is a joker.

tawa89: Two months after the Americans came down to Nigeria to help find the kidnapped Chibok girls, after all the noise they made, the showboating and media frenzy campaign led by Obama and his wife to bring back our girls, they still haven't made any headway in bringing back our girls.
American security forces are blocking us from acquiring state of art military hardware , when we tried to get some from eastern Europe , they tipped off the South African government. These people aint helping us and I wonder what they are still doing in our country.
I'm with FG on this, The American Snitches should leave our country within 48hrs.
Here's the thing.
It is just an unconfirmed rumor that there's an arms purchase ban. No proof.

What is an indisputable fact is that the FG failed to protect those girls, failed to move at all when the trail was hot, failed to arm our troops properly and failed to show any empathy for the parents.
Given that, one wonders why you're filled with so much ire over an unconfirmed rumor while the FG that has been exposed as a definite villain of this piece gets no backlash from you. Are you one of the paid sycophants? I do not know you.
Finally, your "America tipped off SA" line is just plain daft. Arms deals are done with wire transfers. Absolutely no need to fly to South Africa with cash. Only drug dealers and terrorist warlords buy arms this way.

And nobody takes 9.8m dollars to buy helicopters. You cannot get a decent modern attack helicopter for that amount.

I still maintain this is a money laundering case gone bad.
Politics › Re: Fg Wants American Security Forces Out Of Nigeria. by texazzpete(m): 6:53am On Sep 21, 2014
All these quotes from 'unnamed top security officials' are beginning to sound fishy.

I think it's just a ploy to distract us and provide some plausible reason for $9.8m in cash being smuggled into SA in a private jet.

So far, I've seen no official confirmation of any arms sales ban or whatever. And one certainly does not carry only 9.8m dollars if you want modern helicopters.

all4naija: No, it is not. QR code are usually used for purchases. You will never get it because you haven't tried it out. This is how I do it. The scan application is set to NFC and scan QR tag just as you would with the Camera in Nokia Lumia that will quickly scan a tag using the camera(NFC does the same thing)because it is not prone to failure as QR code tag scan. Afterward sends what you scan to BING and find the locations where they have the shop you intended to purchase things online. Please, just admit you haven't tried it out. Admit you have tried out the 'Microsoft tag reader application(is NFC application)', Apple loser!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lORXILLMrxs
I'm not sure if you have issues with English language, but that video just confirms everything I said and disproves your nonsense.

QR codes are only scanned with the Camera. As demonstrated in the video.
NFC Tags are read when you bring your phone in close proximity.

If you need to scan QR codes, only your camera will do. Absolutely no need for NFC.

LMAO, I suggest you go look at the video once more.
