The attack serves AJV Obinna right, if he wants to play politics let him remove his robe and enter the arena, enough of the blackmail he puts up everytime
Abogwara:
The video proves clearly that this is what happened
How long have the two of you worked for the Imo State Govt?

DIKEnaWAR:
What was your anointed doing burying the dead mother of a corrupt politician? How many poor people in the church has he attended their burial?

The clergy and the politicians have become one and same. Stoning them will soon be common place.
The ‘dead mother of a corrupt politician’ may have been a devout catholic who has contributed a lot to the Church. Salvation is personal.

More importantly, you are commenting in a topic about how an Archbishop criticized a Governor to the face of the ‘anointed successor’ and yet you try to paint a picture of the Church being compromised. Either you lack comprehension skills or alcohol has addled your senses.

Taxify has only TWO legit ways of paying. Cash or via an attached bank card. Stupid Nigerians will enter a Taxify with no card, no cash and start talking about 'bank transfer'.

I can't blame the driver for waiting for the money to reflect before leaving there.

Bayelsa State Government is owing salaries...despite the large amount of federal allocation to the state.

Bayelsa State has an unemployment ratio that is one of the highest in Nigeria.

Yet this same Govt use state funds to build an 'ecumenical center' and some people are actually hailing this?

I don't understand how people are screaming government sponsorship, who told you guys that its the government that sponsors every pilgrim? I've been to hajj myself and no bloody govt sponsored me, I sponsored myself.
Those that are sponsored are mostly the ones that are close relatives or friends of govt officials. So pls stop having the myopic view that every pilgrim is sponsored with taxpayer's money because that's not true.
Don’t be silly. Everyone knows that lots of pilgrims sponsor their own journey. That is the scenario everyone wants. But there's also no denying that lots of pilgrims either travel on Govt subsidy, or have their Forex subsidized to ridiculous levels.

I mean, it's in the Budget...billions of Naira set aside for pilgrimage...the vast majority of which is expended on Hajj. Where do those billions come from? The moon?

You're literally making up an argument nobody has put forward just to argue about it and deflect from real criticism of the waste of state resources on what should be a personal spiritual pilgrimage.

Sadly, every organisation worship the words of their leaders.

You can't be working in Coca Cola and be taking instructions from Limca.

You can't be a Christian and not worship the words of a leader. Remember we all claim we worship Jesus? You belief it is Jesus' teaching for a man to be poor because he's serving God. The same God that promises us wealth?

Wait, if you as a Christian can't be wealthy? Are you saying those promises in the Bible are meant for Sinners?

The so called "Jesus Teachings" is relative.
I challenge you to point out where I claimed a Christian cannot be wealthy. You’ve never struck me as someone with challenges comprehendinrhg written English.

There is nothing ‘relative’ about the teachings of Christ. And using the word ‘so called’ is strange. You don’t believe in the Bible anymore ?

Your definition of Christianity is strange, including utterly bonkers ideas about worshipping words from Pastors.

Better for a church to be poor and Broke than for its parishioners to be starving, dejected and homeless.
This is the teaching of Jesus, but pastor worshipping idolaters have rejected it to worship the words of their General Overseers.

Pity.

The people who spend all day complaining about BBA are every bit as silly as those they criticize for spending all day watching the show.

I don't like or watch the show, but I recognize it is entertainment for many. Just like how many of us watch EPL games.

Haaakeeem002:
Seriously its a show that should be scrambled. Wat are we teaching the innocent young souls? Its jst a way to corrupt the soul.
Thanks
You live in a country where teachers are not paid salaries for months or years, education is in a shambles, thugs hold sway at motor parks, herdsmen butcher farmers in their farms, people gouge out eyes and kidneys of their fellow humans for rituals and corruption is celebrated and openly tolerated...yet it is a show that people have to go out of their way to watch that is 'corrupting innocent souls'?

You are part of the problem.

is it not even disheartening that even the show BBNaija is being hosted in South Africa .....

wake up bro,we celebrate mediocrity in this country , beauty over intellect.
no musician/ artist/ Model is among the 10 richest people in the world but here we let our intellect waste away n we youth don't even care....
GOWON was 31yrs when he became the President but we are much more concerned with BBNaija, GoTH and the likes
Who is the ‘we’? Why do you fall into the same trap as the author...to recklessly generalize? Why does he make the insanely brainless assumption that there’s a critical mass of Nigerian youths that are wasting away, watching Big Brother 24/7?

Why The Big Brother focus anyway? Is he conflating his personal issues with the show with the central point? Does this also apply to those who watch EPL matches every weekend?

The point remains that whatever travails we go through in Nigeria has nothing to do with age. Decent people make decent leaders. Greedy, shitty people make bad leaders. There’s no reason to impose an arbitrary age limit to exclude our younger people from the pool of potential leaders.

PS: I don’t watch Big Brother at all.

I will take your rants seriously when I see your efforts in condemning your wicked leaders that exploit you and rape you inspite of your resources.

Which Pastor has forcefully collected funds from you? These guys are some of the reasons people like us are proud to be Nigerian. Their works speak evidently for them. Their universities have high standards and vompetiting globally in a short time already with high prospects of getting to the top.

They are massive employers of labours.

All your govt does is flaunt cars and decieve you.

Instead of you to pray for God to give you wisdom to create wealth you are getting bitter for nothing.

May God deliver you from the poverty of your mind
LMAO.

you poor, deluded child...spewing the exact same claptrap all other idolaters use to reply fact based criticism of your gods.

At least my post history is there to show consistent criricism of bad leaders. So your first point is borne out of unbridled ignorance. Additionally, since I havent ever been fleeced by one of your idols, why would I be bitter?

Better flee from this mental slavery before it is too late o!
Christianity Etc › Re: The Church Of GOD In Nigeria Is Not The Government Of Nigeria - Nneka Okumazie by texazzpete(m): 2:15pm On Feb 14, 2018
Rubbish

HigherEd:
The most common foolishness in Nigeria now is criticism of the Church of GOD; Church, tithe, first fruits, Church online offering, Church private jets, Church pastors, Church branches, Church universities, Church testimonies, Church teachings, Church poor members, etc.
No ma'am. Nobody is criticizing the 'Church of God'. People are criticizing greedy Pastors that con their members into paying through their noses to fund the wealth and lifestyle of church elders. Many of these pastors actively deter their members from spending money on charity...instead insisting all funds be funneled to the church/Pastor's coffers.

HigherEd:
But this Church is under attack. Not fair attack, not wise attacks, foolishness, and you watch how it has now become normal, on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, by those who opted to blindfold themselves and think the Church should be what they interpret not about the Kingdom of GOD.
Even the much vilified Mr Freeze does not attack Churches. He calls out Pastors.
The writer shows herself as one of the innumerable idol-worshippers in Nigeria that worship their Pastors over and above Jesus and His teachings.
Anyone who spends more time talking about tithes than charity is misguided and needs salvation.

HigherEd:
Until Nigeria as a country starts to focus on actual development, there is almost no way it will move forward.
Another key way to improve Nigeria is to liberate many Nigerians from the mental shackles many money hungry Pastors have placed them in.

Are you sure you didn't arrange the death of your husband and mildly injure yourself to make this ur "im the victim" story look real?

So you want to tell me a full grown man stabbed you seven times and u lived

Secondly if he had a poison with him wen he came to the shop that means he had planned to kill u nd himself

Now if he already decided that he would nt have needed to pick up a quarrel first

Thirdly it doesn't make sense for someone to plan to kill his wife nd himself wen he has kids nd wen he can always jst kill only the wife

So woman we know that there's another man in this story that helped you eliminate "that useless husband of urz"

#Eco99#
This insane rush to blame the woman despite overwhelming evidence...it is actually a family curse o. You need to be exorcised.

You people are being disingenous to claim the story 'doesn't add up'. I'm willing to bet at least 30% of Nigerian men would feel seriously threatened by their wife's success...especially if it exceeds theirs.

It is nothing new that adversity in business - coupled with success of a wife's ventures - has driven many men into jealousy, alcoholism and brutality.

Lagos State is always quick to collect taxes, yet lax in providing services.

Always ironic to see that huge billboard exhorting people to pay their taxes whenever i drive through the Lekki tollgates...especially when you consider this same govt had no qualms in increasing tolls despite the higher level of tax compliance in that local government.
