We have two main camps here.

The first one is the Nigerian armed forces can do no wring and any criticism is an act of subversion and treason group .

The second is the knowledge based group mostly objective but still critical.

Kanu was asked about that video and he said his phone was stolen and whoever stole it posted the video. No man will post private videos of him and his wife on the internet, least of all a public figure like Kanu.

Would Kanu really post a video of him and his wife so his enemies can use it to ridicule him? Not possible

Nnandi Kanu and Uchechi Kanu have been married over 10 years. The video of husband and wife on their bed having an intimate time showed how some Nigerians can be hypocrites. At first, some rushed to say that Kanu was with a prostitute. When they now discovered it was his wife, they now changed the narrative that Kanu and his wife were commiting sin. Then they said that Kanu made the video and posted it on the internet. Why would Kanu make a personal video of him and his wife and post it online? How is that going to benefit him in any way?

What shocked me about the video is how some Nigerians suddenly acted if they didnt know that what happened in the video is a normal thing between husband and wife. Some people started even questioning why the couple should film as if what they saw cant be seen on a beach or swimming pool. Some even called it porn.
