What part of Nigeria did you do it please?

Someone very close to me has inguinal hernia and he is scared to go for surgery.

Hello, I seriously need an advise. I bought a piece of land in Elerangbe, Ibeju Lekki from a notable real estate company 3years ago and till today they are yet to allocate my land to me.

I've gone to there office severally, yet the keep telling me different story and am really confused.

Can you please suggest what I can do to get my land or money from them?

The Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has been invaded by the Ogun state police command over reports that people with questionable character use the auditorium as refuge.

In the raid which occurred on Thursday, June 16, 236 people inside the auditorium were arrested by the police, New Telegraph reports.

According to the state spokesperson, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the raid on the worship centre followed series of reports and intelligence gathering that people with questionable character use the auditorium as a safe haven after committing crime.
Adejobi said, “Our men carried out the raid in the early hours of Thursday after a series of report that criminals have taken the RCCG Auditorium at Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, as hideout.

A 38-year-old woman, Margareth Hlatshwayo, has come out to reveal how she was allegedly paid by Shepherd Bushiri to lie about miracles in his church, Enlightened Christian Gathering Church (ECG) South Africa.

Margareth who said her conscience has been kicking her for about 3 months said she is terrified that God might punish her. She narrated how she was told she could get a job at a church in Pretoria Showground and would be paid R500 the same day. Talking about how she cashed out from the controversial Malawian Pastor who is one of the richest in Africa and his ministry, Margareth said:

”I didn’t know what kind of job it was. I was told I must act in a holy way and pretend I was healed. I had to testify to living a horrible life before. I knew what I was doing was wrong but I couldn’t resist the R500 (approximately N6,500) money promised. This is because I needed the money to feed my 3 children and I couldn’t turn down the offer so I did what they told me. And that was how I began. I lied to people and agreed to everything the pastor asked me.

I said I was unemployed but I had recently got a job through God’s power after the pastor prayed for me. I have not had a job for the past 4 years. My only job was telling lies recently at church in Pretoria Showground. Later, the church stopped paying me on time because it now has a lot of people lying and giving false testimonies for the prophet and then at the end, there is not enough money to pay all of us. The pastor kept promising he will pay me. Sometimes, he gives me R300 and atimes nothing at all. I am so ashamed.”

Some of these people are said to even go to the extent of lying that they were wheelchair bound but after the pastor prayed for them and they were healed. Another woman who went to the same church confirmed all what Margareth said: ”I was paid for 2 weeks but when the pastor stopped paying me, I stopped going. ”

When one of the church leaders was interviewed, he didn’t knowing Margareth but he denied paying people to testify. ”If you want to speak with Shepherd Bushiri for information, you need to make an appointment to come to the office or church service to see how the man of God is changing lives. I don’t know you and I am not prepared to talk to you any longer”, he said as he dropped the call.

YBNL leader, Olamide has proven to be a man of his word especially with his relationship and deals with his signed artists.

He’s repeatedly said he only signs a 2-year deal with all his artistes after which they are free to go.
With the exit of Lil Kesh from the label on the expiration of his deal in April 2016, we now have feelers that talented singer, Adekunle Gold may be the next in line to leave the label.

Lil Kesh left YBNL to float his YAGI records after dropping his debut album.

Sources have now told us that Adekunle Gold is next in line. ‘After his album drops in June, Kunle may leave YBNL to focus on his own label too’.

His new label we gather will be called “Gold Records“.

Somehow the trend stays the same. Olamide left ID Cabasa after dropping the YBNL album which became his record label name, Lil Kesh also left after dropping his YAGI album which became the name of his label as well.

Adekunle’s debut album is also titled ‘Gold’ which may very well become the name of his own record label too.

Popular music producer Oluwaseyi Akerele, popularly known as Shizzi, has accused singer, Tunde Ednut and ace producer Masterkraft of stealing his instrumental to produce their newly released track, Kosowo.

According to ChannelsTV, lawyers representing Shizzi have served Tunde Ednut and his producer Masterkraft a letter stating that they will file a copyright infringement lawsuit if they don’t take down all download links for the song and cease its promotion henceforth.

The letter also states that the instrumental for Kosowo was originally created by Shizzi in 2014 and was initially given to Wande Coal who freestyled on it, but never finished working on the instrumental.

Shizzi also accused Tunde Ednut of using Wande Coal’s lyrics in Kosowo. Entertainment News reached out to Tunde Ednut, who stated that he didn’t copy anybody. ”If you want anything, ask Wande Coal, because he is the owner of the song,” he said.

A representative of Wande Coal responded immediately, affirming that Tunde Ednut did steal the track. “I know Shizzi produced the track for Wande and Tunde just came to our studio, heard it and just ran with it. It was Tunde who f***ed up and we are trying to clear this mess now,” he stated. He also added that Wande Coal never gave him Kosowo because he was still working on it with Shizzi. ”It was a surprise when we heard it on NOTJUSTOK.”

The rep also stated that they had reached out to Ednut because Wande still had plans to complete the song with Shizzi and release at a later date but he had ignored them.

Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church revealed while praying at 2015 Shiloh program tagged, Covenant Hour of Prayer, yesterday morning that God revealed to him that he will see Nigeria listed among the world power countries. He also declared that Living Faith Church will have the largest number of the most successful people in the world, because God told him the ministry is to raise Giants. Giants that will shake the world.

Shiloh is a yearly transformation program organized by Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel. According the Bishop, the program was directed by Holy Spirit.

This year’s Shiloh started on 8th December, 2015 and ended yesterday morning, December 12, 2015. It was tagged “From Glory to Glory”. It might interest you to know that at least 55 nations participated in the program.

Port Harcourt International Airport in Nigeria has been announced as the world’s worst airport, according to Sleeping in Airports world’s worst airports 2015 list.


The announcement was made based on a survey of more than eighteen thousand of travellers. Each airport was rated in four categories - comfort, conveniences ("or lack thereof", cleanliness and customer service.

The airport topped the Guide to Sleeping in Airports world’s worst airports 2015 list, which surveyed over 26,000 fliers to find out the best and worst airports around the globe.

Unhelpful staff, a severe lack of seating and broken air-conditioning were just some of the reasons the Port Harcourt International Airport was given the worst airport title. This has to be the most corrupt airport in the world. 'Bring money' as they say in PH. It's a standing joke. - a traveller

Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah King Abdulaziz airport was second on the list – as it was last year - due to passengers’ annoyance at the “crowded, chaotic and unclean” Hajj terminal. A new airport in Jeddah is scheduled to open next year.

France’s Beauvais-Tille Airport coming in at number 10. Fliers cited an absence of chairs, lack of kind staff and expensive Wi-Fi as the reason Beauvais-Tille was not their favourite airport.

Sleeping in Airports asked passengers to judge the airports in four categories: comfort, cleanliness, convenience and customer service.

Popular Afro Beat artiste Dede Mabiaku has lambasted a contestant at the recent Nigerian Idols audition, saying Fela never appeared on stage in pants. The teenager who appeared in pants before the panelists which includes Dede was very hopeful he would make it to the next round of the auditions.

Dede described the appearance of the young man as ‘obscenity before the camera’ and threatened to send him off. Other panelists however encouraged the said contestant named Udose to perform.

As if not bothered, Udose took to Fela’s popular song titled “Gentleman”, using his mouth to make an afrobeat-like sound and he sang the lyrics of the song as much as he could.

The sight of the boy irritated Dede, and he immediately condemned the boy for appearing with his pants. Dede questioned Udosen if he ever saw Fela on stage like this? Yes, Udosen replied.

Anger brewed up within Dede. He said “You are a liar! Fela never climbed the stage with his underpants. Fela only puts on his underpants in his house. On the stage, he dressed up. You’re coming here before the whole world and you are coming with your briefs.

Emmanuel Adebayor's brother, Rotimi Adebayor, who the Togo and Tottenham Hotspur striker has put on blast in two posts on Facebook recently, is begging his brother and other family members for forgiveness for the mistakes he has made.

Rotimi Adebayor told the BBC that he's "on his knees" asking for the family to be together again.

Nigerian Prophet and popular televangelist, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T.B. Joshua is currently in the Central American nation of Mexico for a crusade. The man of God caused quite a stir upon his arrival in the city as the locals were filled with so much joy.

Crowds of Mexicans lined up on the streets with his posters and banners, wildly jubilating as they awaited his arrival.

A clip uploaded by Joshua’s official YouTube channel, shows the people screaming for joy as he stepped down from a vehicle after a military entourage had saluted his arrival.

Prophet T.B. Joshua will be holding a ‘Miracle Crusade’ in the world’s largest football stadium in Mexico City on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th May 2015, which will be broadcast live on Joshua’s Christian television station Emmanuel TV.

A lady with Instagram user name @Bossy-asshh dropped a very revealing comment on Meek Mill's page today as he turns 28-year-old . According to her, Meek who was in Vegas over the weekend with Nicki Minaj had an affair with her and he even refused to pay for the service. In a recent interview with Vanguard, Triple MG first lady, Emma Nyra said Ubi terrorized her for years, and that she doesn't want to see her name associated with Ubi's name. Read below...

First and foremost, I would like to say a big thank you to you - Ayeni Adekunle of TheNet.ng, for coming up with such a wonderful platform for promoting Nigerian entertainment industry as well as coming up with Nigerian entertainment conference.

In the last few years, I haven’t been able to attend the past Nigerian Entertainment Conference organized by you and your team, but all thanks to God, this year I did. It was awesome and inspiring. I must say you did a great job, but there are few things you didn’t notice that I would like to bring to your notice.

In this year Nigerian entertainment conference, there are few things that happened that weren’t welcomed by each and every one that attended the conference, most especially the audience/participants such as me, KokoVibes Media.


I got to Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos around 9:15am and was directed to the conference hall – Grand ball Room by the security around 9:20am. I saw some people registering which I did. I picked my tag and goodie bag at the registration section and waited for about 45minutes before the conference room was opened. At about 10:05am, the conference room was opened and every participant was asked to enter the room.

The conference started at the right time, comedian Tee A was the host and Singer Seyi Shay opened the conference with Nigeria National Anthem.

The conference was moving smoothly and everyone was attentive. Every word the panelist/speaker utter was inspiring, message-full and informative. I was so surprised when veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva came on stage and couldn’t stay long due to the intense heat in the room. She complained during her session – “Teaching &amp; Training Tomorrow’s Talent”, that she won’t be able to talk much due to the extreme heat in the room. I checked behind me and saw a lot of people already sweating. I thought I was the only one sweating. I began to ask myself, are the standing ACs just a camouflage or what? Are these ACs working at all? Are these ACs tested before the conference? I saw a lot of standing ACs, but none seem to be working which left me confused.


Apart from that, the conference was overcrowded that some people couldn’t get a seat. This made me wonder, if the conference was planned at all? Why a better hall could not be secured? I even saw some extra chairs outside while some people were inside standing, what are those chairs meant for? Are they not meant for sitting?


Before aunty Joke Silva came in, I was actually waiting for a Coffee Break, because that was what I saw on the conference website and magazine that was given to me during my registration at the conference entrance. The Coffee Break was scheduled between 10:50 – 12:10 and 12:10 – 12:30, but I didn’t get any coffee. Immediately MTVBase VJ, Ehiz left the stage, aunty Joke Silva hit the stage and the host, Tee A didn’t say anything about the Coffee Break.

I almost busted into laughter when I heard some people complaining about the Coffee Break at my back seat… “Why are these people acting this way? At least there should be a break” – that was how the conversation of Coffee Break started. At that moment, I was tasty; I quickly went outside so that I could get myself a bottle of water, since the conference team resisted giving us a break, but I couldn’t get a bottle of water.

On my way back to my seat, it was already few minutes after 2pm. I saw a friend, Lekksite, a blogger and founder of Gidi360.com. He complained about the Break Out session. He was so eager to share his past experience. He told me he was opportune to attend last year Nigerian Entertainment Conference, NECLive2, and that the organizers still have a lot of work to do. He said, “I was here last year, these people did the same. Since morning, there has been no break. I need to get myself something to eat or drink”. “They told us 30minutes on paper, when panelists get on stage, they spend more than an hour on their session” – he said. I smiled and returned to my seat.

Some minutes later, I got a call from a friend, Benjamin telling me to meet him outside that he’s tasty and needs bottle water. We met outside, went to the main road and started searching for where to get a bottle of water. Omo no be joke ooo!, I’ve never experience such a thing before in my life. Chai, there is God ooo!

While working on the road, we saw a guy holding bottle water. We asked him where he got the bottle water, he told us he bought the water somewhere along the road. We bought 50naira bottle water each and returned to the conference hall.

On my way to my seat, people were already asking me how I got the water. I described to them how I got the water and head straight to my seat.


Few minutes later, around 5pm, everyone was asked to go for break. Before then, everyone was already leaving; due to no break, time not being followed up according to what was stated on the conference website and magazine, intense heat in the room due to high rate of audience. So people had no choice than to leave.

A question popped up to my mind, is there any platform created to get feedback from participants? You have invested a lot of time to create Nigerian Entertainment Conference and we all know a lot of people turned up, but have you guys invested time to get feedback from the participants? I am not disputing the fact that you have the best speakers, and they all did perfectly well. Just that some things have to be fixed to make it worthwhile.



I strongly believe that Nigerian Entertainment Conference 2016 would be far and far better than this year’s conference if my observations are taken into consideration.


Less I forget, I also expect a little bit of entertainment during the conference, since it’s an entertainment conference. Aside from that, I checked all the known sources; I found out that there is no platform created for feedbacks. At least your team should create a platform to get feedbacks from participants, as well working with your team to make the next edition better and more greater success. Just like Social Media Week Conference.

Before I finally drop my pen, I must say a big thank you to each and every panelist that turned up at the conference; which includes George Theorpe, Davido, M.I Abaga, Joke Silva, eLDee, Ehiz, Tony Okoroji, Daryn Wober, Femi Falodun, Wunmi Obe, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Demola Ogundele, Innocent Uba, Shizzi, and others that I couldn’t remember their names.
