I believe the ability to feel fully part of a movie is called suspension of disbelief. The last one I cried over is Mainframe's Maami. I cried that day and kept hugging my 1year old son to myself! I think Nestlé's confused or they are being deliberately ambiguous. At what age does a child stop being an infant? Age 3? When do you start children on solids like the cereal in contention here? ![]() |

I read NIV and The Message and I'm ok with them. I think its very important to understand how the bible came to be one book and its journey through many translations then we will have less questions about the fidelity of translations. |
“The thirty six states governors have no initiative, they only come to Abuja at the end of every month to collect from the Federation Account,... Why Chief Edwin Clark talk like this na? |

asha 80: seems like initial gra graMaybe not. This still happens in their Surulere branch. |
Seun: It's not about variety. Growing kids need protein. A variety of starches and roughages isn't sufficient.Ok, now I know where you're coming from. He takes meat (mashed), fish and eggs (he loves eggs). But that comment meant to show I believe some of these legislations on what to feed at what age don't work. Yes I meant 90th percentile. Albert Einstein? Ha! |
Seun: And then when he grows up you'll wonder why he's short and not as smart as his peers.Actually I'm giving him the best of nutrition and also helping him appreciate a wide range of foods. I gave him gerber, organics, formula and all sorts of jar foods but when i go online and read about the stuff these companies are accused of, I just had to think homemade. So I puree fruits and vegs for him in addition to the amala and veg. Right now at well-baby checks, he's in the 9th percentile. |
Coldfeet: Exactly my thoughts feeding a one year old akpu and ewedu or any swallow isn't really a bad idea just make sure its not too thick! akpu especially, and the soup not peppery! My mother grew up on akpu and ofe ogbankpo! Its copy copy of the west that has made our own food taboo to us.my boy has been eating amala and okro since he was 7months. He loves it. I didn't start him on akpu and eba till he was 14 months and he loves them especially when i add fresh fish to the okro or ewedu. Golden morn's breakfast but we get creative the rest of the day. |
Peterwins: For parents with children under 3 years kindly reach for a pack of Golden Morn and confirm this info. If you do not have a pack within reach, kindly get to the nearest store or supermarket and check the age restriction. I find it hard to believe that such a sensitive info is not boldly written to alert unsuspecting parents.Well I've seen infants been fed Golden morn though the mother saw the warning. My one year old takes it for breakfast. No biggie. I take it as Nestle been very careful to not hurt kids as there's a tendency for kids under a year to be fed just one type of food day in, day out. |
Its either you want to remain married and raise boys who will beat their wives or you leave and raise healthy kids. If you Keep taking the beating and abuse, your kids will dish it out to their wives because they watched their mother take it and so Its Ok. Choose life. Choose emotional health. |
I'm sure the occupants of Ikorodu will be real glad about this project. The daily crawl in and out of that place is serious. I see land prices shooting up once the project kicks off. |

mecussey: Yes if a woman cheat, she is a slut because, she has no reason to do that. Testosterone is a very strong homone in men, it alters our behaviour and has little or no regulator. The estrogen thats supposed to be balancing it sometimes does not show up at all due to the number of unclad ladies we see everyday with big things. The brain has no choice than to contunue to trigger the production of testosterone. Take it or leave it.Oh! Then I must have excess testoterone too because I want Seth Macfarlane so. |
My husband once went out with his friends drinking all night and lost his phone and he came back home to tell me he was abducted and gained his consciousness around 3am at Berger (Lagos-Ibadan Expressway). He sat on the rug telling me How scary it was for him and how a stranger had helped him home (Surulere) while I observed he still had his gold neck chain and wrist watch on him so I just made the expected 'Chei Chei' noises and told him to bath and go to bed. 10 minutes later, I opened the bedroom door and it was smelling beer. I checked his wallet and took all the money there but he couldn't even ask for it the next day. Needless to say, his whole family begged on his behalf or I would have divorced him. |

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1st John 5 vs 11-12. |
Another aspect is the man's relatives. They may have asked her to observe some wack rites or they may not be on good terms. In which case staying away is easier than whatever may result from attending the burial. |
Let that woman remember that she's the one whose fertile period is limited not the husband. Why would she agree to one child in the first place? Let her examine her reasons. If the second child is purely for her in-laws then Its not worth it. If she feels the first child's lonely or she on her own just wants one more then she had better get down to it. |
I admire Michelle Obama a lot. I am all about family so i guess I'm like her. If you like Kim only because of her outward sexiness, remember it does not mean she's hot in bed. Michelle dresses decently does not mean she's shapeless or frigid. I dress conservatively but I'm hot. |
