If anyone disrespects their dead enough to leave their corpse in a mortuary for years, then let government rest their bodies in whichever way comes cheaper. Do you know how many of these bodies get donated to medical research? I don't either but I remember in 2006 when a radio station in Ibadan ran a public service announcement for about a month giving deadline for old corpses to be claimed or else... I think the catholic church should donate land and resources to the state government if they are so much against it. If I were as rich as the catholic church, that's what I would do. |
Obasanjo's swag then: if I can't be handsome, I'll be more muscular than them all. Plus, I'll rule twice. |
I could do that. Details, details. |
Abiola had a good heart and gave out. That said, he stole from those he was giving back to and only because it makes one respected in society before he realised he was popular enough to run for president. He dined with his killers, they did deals and shared profit together. That they turned back on him later is purely profit-oriented no matter that millions of Nigerians saw a messiah in him. |
Emmyswat: My president GEJ is try all his best pls ngerians let's giv him the support and opportunity. I bet you all this things will end within a twincle of an eye. We should be blaming dana air management not GEJ.Please, poster, translate this into English language. |
Accept my condolences. It seems we Nigerians are helpless now. Just pawns in a chess game. Well, let the players learn deft moves because karma has an accurate shot and is hanging unto the excess material of their clothes. |
oyb: y'all woul freak at a recurring tradition - the scarification of women to meet a societal ideal of beautylol. True, true. You think deep. |
We'l be forever loving jah! |
Pimper's paradise, that's what she was now... |
Mayflowa: In my opinion, Mode 9 is not a nice person. He has fragile emotion and I am sorry for his wife! The event that culminated into this loggerheads wasn't neccessary at all. Muna initially was just playing by saying: "I do not agree with you". That is a very simple statement to call her head for? Mode 9 just turned it into fiasco. That was ungentlemanly especially to take back the Microphone and wanna say more. For a swaggin man, that is an opportunity to even lay the babe! she might just be looking for an opportunity to engage Mode 9. Mode 9 dey crase.... Anyway, I respect him in the rap game.Well I was at that event and right from the first set of rappers, Muna put the judges in a position where they had to be asserting their authority. She would ask the audience which rapper was best and tell the judges that's who the audience wants. All the judges commented at some point on this attitude. Only it seemed she reserved specially 'beefy' replies for the head judge, Mode9. And she crowned it all by hissing into the mic when the organisers did not bring the check on time. To think I was excited to see her as the MC at first! Some of us told her on twitter to apologise immediately but she saw us as haters. Now who's biting the dust? |
Tiwa Savage Asa Tope Alabi |
Professional party founder, IMHO. |
This is Interesting. @OP, do you mean that i can just walk into my bank and tell them i want to buy treasury bills? If so, is it better to deal with banks or...? |
Wow. Way to go. I was going to buy the book Open City at Patabah but decided I wanted it as a gift instead. It was going for the price of 3 good books. *shrug*, there will be a book fair and I'll be there for my (by then) much cheaper copy. |
OP, I feel you though to a lesser extent, my marriage is less than two years and already I have to devise all sort of tricks to get my husband to look my way. He's not great at expressing emotions, I guess like most men so I look to the non verbal cues. Now I know to never ever allow him Keep another bed. |

I do not think I want to trust an over-worked human to correctly thrust a needle in my back and I do not think I should have read this thread till I deliver, its too pain-filled! I'm out of here ![]() |
@Layindek, do you have a blog or maybe nairaland will do. I'm thinking we could make a way of sharing ideas. I sow too but not often (I work full-time) and not too well (as a result ). What do you think? |
em, not say what i think about ![]() |
Ha! Then we talk about Nigeria's resources fleeing to other lands! He is just laundering stolen wealth. I do not want to hear about the school that the people from his village cannot afford, let him tell us about the oil refinery he and OBJ has outside the country. After-all, it should be one of the sources of the maddening salary he is paying the looters! |
High Chief, I think you used the correct word- considerate. When one considers the other, then things will work out. |
Still smiling, me likes this thread! ![]() |
Methinks what is offensive to the practical mind is not as much the points the poster is making but the examples he used. I would not want to be resented for earning more but I should not be arrogant about it too. I would not want to feel compelled to work at a place where I do not feel fulfilled but I should not ignore the bills too and just resign to live "my dreams". Blah, blah, blah, |
So there ARE people at home? |
ask if this thread's quite or its just me from |
If you pick the right road side designer, it should suffice till you can afford to go to fashion school. Just make the right bargain with the person so that you actually get lessons and not that you will be expected to "stare along". |
