Good morning, everyone.I need your opinion on this issue.
I am trying so hard to believe I was not cheated.I bought this oraimo 27,000 maH power bank for 19,500 naira with high hopes.
But one thing that put me off was how fast it charged full.It took less than 8 hours to charge from 56% to 100% in the blink of an eye(I have heard about how slowly that power bank charges).I decided to try it out to boost my phone from 15%.It had barely gotten to 60% when I realised that percentage reader has dropped by 10%(from 100% to 90%).I was baffled by the discharge rate for a power bank of that size that I had to disconnect my phone.I am seriously worried judging by how much I spent on the power bank.
Pls Did I buy a fake or Maybe my expectations are unreasonably high?

"I am sorry that I could not stay enough long
to fulfill all the promises unto you I made

Why dost thou in thy little strides bask
when thy counterparts keeping
Sprinting forward in the race of progress?

Once upon a time,thou roared
And thy counterparts cowered
in reverence at thy unassailable might.
Why hast thy mighty roars into moans softened?

Nature that adorned thee with a myriad of resources
And made thee,among thy peers the cynosure
Of envy now cringes at what thou hath become;

From thy abode,Peace and Justice hath taken flight like a bird
perched on a twig unperturbed until it is startled.

Terror now seated upon the throne of the land grins
As he hears the agonizing wails of his hapless captives,
In shackles bound,pounding relentlessly
Against the iron bars of their unforgiving dark dungeon.

The gloomy sky above echoes
with the unceasing cries of the innocent;

Is gloomy and all shades of grey.
Flanking the narrow smooth tarred road
that stretches endlessly before us
Are thick shrubs of green that dances briskly

From the misty eyes of the clouds
Pours down rain that splatters on
the windshield and roof of our speeding bus,
drowning out the hum of the engine.
All I see ahead of us through
the crystal clear lens of my spectacles
Is a hazy view of speeding trucks and cars.

Amidst all this, unperturbed by the unfavourable element
Of nature that waylays us,a familiar,pleasant smell of home
wafts into my dry nostrils from afar,
rousing all blissful memories to me so dear from long lost days ( that forever I treasure)
from me Time has stolen;

As a potter out of clay fashions
a statue to his and the eyes of the world alluring,
so has this memories moulded me
into who I have become today.

The bird of hope, after exploring the boundless sky,
Unperturbed by wordly cares,comes to rest
In my restless heart where it lays a temporary nest.
In the course of her stay,she unceasingly sings her melodious strain
that slowly away melts my pain
Like a block of ice in bowl of water dissolved.
When fully sure that my woes have been resolved,
She,to the azure space takes flight,
bearing on her strong wings,my earthly plights.

You weren’t really calling because of anything but because of attention.

You were direct with your actions,
You watched the feedback and took actions.

Apart from your last paragraph,I disagree with your other statements.
My deciding to ignore her has nothing to do with neediness.It is simply because I cannot no longer tolerate her BS anymore.
In social physchology,there is a law of reciprocity which states that it is natural for us human to return a favor done to us.So on her part,it is downright ingratitude not any sense of entitlement on my part.That was why I called her out JOKINGLY for not returning the favor.
Morever,she was the one who befriended me as a senior colleague.So she practically has nothing to offer me.So I obviously don't have anything to lose but she does.

Op,I second Point 2 strongly.I had to learn my lesson the hard way.
There was this girl;a junior colleague I was genuinely interested in helping with school stuffs.i called her like twice a week to check up on her.I realized that she hardly call me at all and when I decided to jokingly call her out on it(in order not to seem needy),she told she was broke and can't afford to call.
I believed her and kept my weekly routine of calling her.As Time went on,I started noticing a pattern I did not like;Her phone rang twice as much as before till she decides to pick to few minutes into our interaction when I call her ,she would come up with silly excuses and promise to call back so that she can quickly go off the phone.
What pissed me off was the day I called her and she blatantly ignored my call by leaving her phone to ring on my ear.Since that day,I realized how much cards I invested in this girl that did not get reciprocated by her.I felt cheated.I vowed since then that I was never going to call this girl again or any other person (except family members of course) who does not reciprocate my gesture.

I just finished season 1 of CW's KUNG FU.I can confidently say that it was an interesting watch.Although the action scenes were a bit ridiculous sometimes,It did not detract from its gripping storyline.

This is apparently one of the proud sons of the great SIMPson family.
For the dude up there who is saying he cannot pinpoint where the dude went wrong,it is obvious you don't know game.
First of all his comment about wanting to own the girl was too intrusive and flippant.He unapologetically objectified the girl and subconsciously told her that it was the only light in which he saw;A commodity to be possessed and nothing more.No decent woman deserves to be denigrated in that manner imo.
She subtly rebuffed his aggressive advance by giving him an unrealistic condition on which she would accept his proposal.In doing so,she established the frame that she would be the one calling the shots not him.
The mumu obviously bereft of social intelligence(a very unattractive trait)who was trying to prove all alpha by his intrusive approach end up showing he was a beta male(simp)in disguise by buying into her frame and subsequently giving in to her terms sheepishly.By doing so,he subserviently handed her his balls and permitted her to do anything she pleases with it.
Men like this don't deserve a pair of testicles.

I just finished season 1 of umbrella academy.Though it is one of those shows I can't really pinpoint what kept me going till the season finale(my experience with Netflix's the order).Nonetheless,I enjoyed it thoroughly.
