What is wrong with this lady for God's sake? Why is she still belaboring this saga after the dust has settled? I guess her guilt won't let her. She finally acknowledged her comment where she announced her intention to strip on mc galaxy's instagram page but calling it a mere joke is very preposterous. I guess she is forgetting that she threatened Mc galaxy in the video when he attempted to end the video half way.Now she is blaming him for failing to delete the video on his instagram page after the issue has been put to rest.Very laughable.If she had not acceded to Mc galaxy's request for her to join the inane video session in the first place,none of this would have happened.It is a simple cause and effect correlation. Much ado about nothing. JAMB already has rules and regulations in place one of which is the prohibition of wearing of hijabs in exam centers in an effort to mitigate exams malpractice. I stand with Burna boy.It is not about shouting#endsars everytime a casualty courtesy of the excesses of SARs occurs.We really need to make appreciable strides towards that effect. It is baffling why the police force is hesitant to dissolve SARS agency.They have outlived their usefulness(if they even have any).Since their inception,what has characterised them is their penchant for unwarrantedly harassing innocent citizens and their irrepressible urge to shoot anyone at the slightest provocation. Any attempt to revamp them would be fruitless because what SARs need in my opinion is psychological overhaul of their members which would be impossible to implement in a country like ours where important measures put in place to remedy a problem are paid lip service to and not the preposterous reformation they underwent at the behest of Osibanjo that involved only change of uniforms. I think Adetutu feeling insulted by a seemingly innocuous remark simi made is reflective of the stigma people with tribal mark endure on daily basis.It is hightime tribal marks are abolished.It has long outlived its usefulness.Basically tribal marks were a form of identification during inter-tribal war which was justifiable then.But in our modern society,there is really no place for tribal marks.The pain alone which is inflicted on a child without his/her consent in the process of mutilating the skin in name of tribal marks is enough grounds in favour of abolition of tribal marks not to talk of the subsequent unbearable stigmatization the child will be forced to contend with on a daily basis. |

I don't understand this case. On what grounds was he convicted of rape in the first place? I mean,all the evidences which included several witnesses testifying to his innocence,glaring discrepancy in photo line up and most importantly a fingerprint mismatch were enough to absolve him of complicity.I guess it is because he is a black man. |

Shame on all Nigerian producers.They are in the best position to adapt this book into a movie but they prefer to keep churning out humdrum movies bereft of substance. The major problem plaguing Nollywood industry is not dearth of funds.It is the commonplace complacency in the industry.That explains the minimal efforts producers put in making movies imbued with substance.Majority of nollywood movies have same storylines.They only differences amongst them is the title that differ.There is plethora of subjects are worth exploring in a movie that would yield positive reception.But Nollywood producers are too afraid to take risks that has a very likelihood of yielding enormous profit.That is why majority of Nollywood movies enjoy low patronage.Kunle afolayan is one of few producers who take risk by exploring uncommon themes in his movie.That is why his movies are top notch and enjoy success in the box office. Like I said earlier,Lack of funds is not the problem because if most producers put substantial efforts in their movies in terms of storylines with substance and good casting,tell me why Investors would be reluctant to invest in the Nollywood.In the nutshell,everyone just TV boils down to complacency retarding the growth of the Nollywood industry. |

Congrats to him. I think it is hightime we started giving songwriters the credits of which they are deserving.Davido did not pen this "fall"yet he only is basking in the glory of the song with the songwriter of the song relegated to the background.In foreign countries, A songwriter who pen a song for a singer to perform are given much credits as the singer.There is even a special award reserved only for songwriters in appreciation of their remarkable works in song writing.Ne-yo exemplifies my point.He penned "Let me love you" by Mario and he earned as much commendations as Mario who sang the song. Ne-yo became famous for his song writing proficiency before he debutted his commercially successful first album. The worrisome truth of the matter is that despite the rapid rate at which churches are proliferating,it has done nothing to mitigate the moral decadence that abounds in our society.That goes to show that Churches have failed in their obligatory duty of fostering the spiritual growth of Christians which will in turn positively rub off on their moral conducts in our every day life.This failure is attributable to fact that most churches are set up majorly for business purposes where so called pastors who claim they were called by God bilk gullible Christians of their hard-earned money by laying enormous emphasis on the gospel of prosperity which appeals to people in a country where the cost of living is high and standard of living is abysmal and trivializing the message of salvation.
