such action will be considered anti-North. one of the reasons boko haram is thriving well is because they've got not of sympathizers in citizens and politicians up north; many of their elites even share their ideology but may not just be bold enough to defend such publicly.

Recent criticisms from Nigerians suggest that most people have little or no knowledge of the country’s existing deradicalization and rehabilitation program, and this partly stems from the program’s opaque nature.

The program began in 2016 and claims to have admitted and discharged over 250 clients (insurgents) since inception. It is not farfetched to suggest that a new agency for the rehabilitation and reintegration of insurgents, will take over the operation safe corridor (OPSC) program, with improved performance due to specialization.

It's a pity solution to insurgency is not yet in sight. The question should rather be, why is the East afraid of demanding that the ticket be given to them by the PDP whom they've served loyally all these years while demanding it from APC they so much loath, isn't that hypocrisy or double standard? Even if the PDP presents a Northern candidate come 2023, the APC will certainly present a candidate from the South West and emerge victorious.
