AmuDimpka:So because they drive 2005 luxury in Berlin(mercedes home country) is reason enough to buy an extremely old car in a country like Nigeria where repair culture and technical know how is poor? That is like signing a lifelong contract with impoverishment and car repair bills People buy new luxury cars here so as to consume them while it still kicks for maybe 8-10 years and pass the carcass down the line to a wannabe to bury himself with Bills upon bills while smart oga moves to a newer, livelier car. Think smart, bro. Buy,use and pass the carcass... That's how its done. At the end of the day,it'll be like you were on rental throughout your lifetime and you will see how much you've saved using this technique. Atleast it will spare you enough buck to invest time, energy and money in other important things than to spend time proving a point on a very old ML |

Gabapentin:Just imagine spending productive time in a workshop looking for "Male and female" gum to patch one hose that is falling apart or "knacking bushing" into a suspension part or carrying all sorts of oils in your booth to be topping up the engine and the ever shortening steering pump oil I'm sure he and his mechanic are now on first name bases and probably spend his free time gisting and playing draft with his mechanic. The most important person to him right now might be his mechanic. Better to buy Okada than to drive a 20+ year old luxury car. If you want argue just log into your banking app and see the deplorable state of your account balance... You'll realise the only thing you've achieved since 3 years is repair Bill's for mechanic. AmuDimpka:2005 Benz is not better than a newer corolla in any way. I've owned a lot of Cars, mercedes too so I know what I'm saying.I actually love mercs than you but buying an old one is quite not smart. I haven't seen a mechanic workshop in a long time because my car is relatively new,not because of marquee or whatever. I would never advise anyone to buy an old mercedes. If you never get money for luxury, forget luxury till money comes. It might surprise you to know how people mock you when you drive pass in your 1999 ML. No one will mock you if you were in a 99 corolla because you are clearly putting out a hustler message, rather than I wanna belong but too broke to belong Emancipate from old luxury cars please,na advise. 8 Likes |

AmuDimpka:Old luxury cars are not quite it,you know. A 2005 C class doesn't and can't wow anyone in 2020.Nothing like "bad guy is here" untop 15 year old mercedes I got my 05 C class in 2014 and it kind of lost its wow factor around 2016/17 when the w204 became common. So if you don't have money for luxury,go for basic rather than buy ancient luxury and prove to the world how poor you are. I went Car shopping this year again, wanted the W212 facelift but I couldn't afford it and went straight to a corolla. It's not that corolla is the best but its suits my budget more.I can always resell easily whenever I make enough money to buy a W212 2015. Also, old luxury cars are nightmares,it can breakdown on you any moment, disgrace you and literally turn you to a mechanic and make you spend a lot of productive time on an old piece of shit car! Unless of course the old mercedes is an only achievement to a person,I see no reason why anyone should buy a luxury car above 7 years in this age, plain stupid IMO. There are better things to do with life than looking for where to buy tokunbo parts always to impress people that don't just care cos your car dont Impress them no more for being TOO OLD,whereas the owner thinks he is actually a baller Delusional! 11 Likes |

missjekyll:What they do is cloning. They'll clone apps and give you registration steps that would expose your details to them. When they have those details, sorry. Na back to back debit alert you go dey receive. Also they hack emails and steal sensitive informations too. They also impersonate via web. To be safe, avoid those platforms at all cost. Or operate multiple accounts with limited funds in the account for online transactions. I am conventional,I do all my transfers via pen and paper,no bank entry,no transfer. 2 Likes |

emmaodet:Indians,Lebanese,etc...succeed because they come with good money. Wetin money no fit do,too much money go do am. For instance,Indians doing well here are in retail. They come with good capital, establish good and clean structure, bring all products under one conducive roof and sell even cheaper than your regular "iya big nyarsh" for dirty market. Tell me,why won't he make it? How they do it is that all the products they sell is sourced directly and they eliminate almost all middle men, giving good room for competitive pricing. Iya big nyarsh buy from sub distributors with her 100k capital at very high prices with high overhead making her pricing high upon dirty market she sells in. Why I go leave spar go iya big nyarsh shed? Succesful Lebanese are in a niche market(construction) built for them by their great grandfathers. Leave those ones, them hold money and connection die. If you have money as a manufacturer and distributors dey form for you to buy your product and dey want dictate price for you, simply open retail outlets yourself and crash the price and watch him suffocate na 10 Likes 3 Shares |

Grupo:In the US,minimum wage cannot also take care of kids and one will barely survive. Do you know how many entrepreneurs that don't even have any certificate and are doing so well that to pay some of your salaries will be cake walk? You want me not to call Dangote?bruv if I call some of the people I know in business you won't know them na,not that they don't exist. They are in hundreds littered throughout PH,Aba,Onitsha,Alaba, lagos island,Vgc...etc.. Same way if you mention some average guy in corporate Nigeria earning and barely surviving on 300k a month that drives a 2010 corolla I won't know na. But if you mention some CEOs now I might know. Look entrepreneurs will be entrepreneurs, while workers will be workers. I have respect for the 2 but an entrepreneur does not need to start from corporate world if he knows what he is doing. 12 Likes |

Grupo:Did Dangote, bill gates,Jeff Bezos, alhassan rabiu,Vincent obianodo, orju uzor kalu, obi Jackson,etc...raise money for their businesses from salary? Entrepreneurs would be entrepreneurs while some people are designed for corporate world. Although some later become entrepreneurs by stealing ideas and contacts in their time in the corporate world, others are daring enough to go straight into business after formal education and they do succeed, infact most times they are the most succesful. If you have been in good business, you will understand what I am saying. 12 Likes |

grandlexuz:Yeah naija girls and anglophone are money hungry. They behave the same and wear funny makeup the same way looking like scare crows. But francophone are naturally beautiful with very fresh skin and easy going. I think I will retire in Limbe or Sao tome and principle someday when I make enough money. Cameroun is a nice country with easy going people,no discrimination again like in the past for Nigerians. 5 Likes 1 Share |

grandlexuz:She was Francophone. Anglophone girls and naija leeches are the same.Only a francophone girl can love you for you till death so you part. It was 4 years ago or so... Her surname was Ndoumbe and I think she is Bassah or so. They lived in Bonaberi,I think her dad worked for AES,she was a twin, she later went to further her studies i think in languages in one higher institution in Douala. This was where we parted ways as I couldn't keep up a lot as my business made me travel around countries a lot. 1 Like |
