in the history of scientific discoveries, has it been proven wrong or otherwise that "like charges repel and unlike charges (male and female) attract"? "No". There has never been a time that a male and female will come together as friends, besties or under whatever guise we want to place it, that one party between the two will not develop feelings for the other; it will only take time.
Forget the narrative they put out there, that "we are besties"! there is no way a cat, no matter how tamed it is, will keep on looking at a meat and would not want to have a taste. likewise a hen to corn! yoruba will say "egbe eye leye nwoto", meaning 'birds of the same feather flock together'. if you are a female, chose your fellow lady as your bestie and if you are male, do the same too; reason being that, experiences have repeatedly shown that one person usually gets hurt, either your bestie whom you want to abandon, having found love, or your lover whom you will definitely cheat on in the name of keeping a bestie.
Bestie of the opposite sex is a scam or disguise under which umbrella people hide to explore sexually, be it single ones or those in a relationship: stay away! |

Even smugglers many for that side pass ifo..
You should be able to buy the rice at Agbara… Abi which Agbara are you referring to? no wahala |
Agriculture › Re: Bag Of Rice Now ₦57k by thedarkened: 1:41pm On Apr 16, 2024 |
NIanalyst: Lol. Actually, the smugglers I bought from had no risk involved. They have a base in Ifo where they converge and you'll buy from them. Two problems involved; 1) They are very conscious of whom they sell to. (I've been buying from them since 2019, hence they know I'm not a spy. 2) Unless you know who's who, you may end up buying from a reseller which would be definitely costlier than the original price. That's that. Best way to move your item is to repackage them which people are readily available to help out with but it's advisable you get a garri bag to repackage the rice considering that your location is far away Agbara. For me, I'm mobile and I stay within Ifo which makes it easier to move the rice to my house without risk. By the way, like someone up there said; Agbara is an hotspot for smugglers just as Ifo. You should look around for the dealers Thank you very much for that detailed explanation, i really appreciate. sincerely, that is what i have been waiting for. With what i just got from you now, i will weigh my options. please, if there is a need to purchase from your side, i will reach out to you. |

tollyboy5: From what the guy said, you don't need help honestly. If I wanted to buy market from such place what I would ask for is the market days and the particular market that's all. You would surely get vehicle for waybilling there. But it depends on the quantity you want to buy. If it's not a large quantity ill expect you to buy from Lagos market. Some people say you can get rice for ₦63k in some market in Lagos. But you staying agbara, you should be the one giving us updated, agbara is close to badagry that has a border with benin. Affordable rice should hit agbara market first! I don't think you've done your findings. The last time I bought from Seme, i remember the stress involved to bypass the customs right from the boarder to the last check point in AGBARA. I simply wanted to know if the stress is lesser in his own side, and perhaps give it a try. You clearly saw where i said "if it is not convenient for him, then there is no qualms". At least before embarking on something, you will weigh your options!(from his comment i have seen that i may have options to explore) is that not? then, in the process of we talking, that is when I will know the number of checkpoints from his place to Agbara, compare it with Seme which i am familiar with and of course employ cost benefit analysis and settle for the one with lesser risk. well i have a sure plug in Seme, i only want to explore other lesser-risk means. By the way i can give you updates, that is not an issue. |

RainMoreDFARMS: If someone agrees to help you buy, and custom eventually seize the rice on their to waybill it to you. You will start calling the person a scammer. Shebi if your statement had come as a question, i would have simply said 'No', with the view that you are being polite and looking out for me. However, it's more of an assertion, as though you are confident that's what I'm gonna do; as though you want to cause a collision between I and the man. please, let the person I directed my plead and request to respond. His 'NO' or 'YES' will suffice. except you are willing to help me with the quest yourself. meanwhile, please note that I'm very familiar with smuggling activities. |

NIanalyst: Ifo is a popular place. Foodstuffs are always cheaper there especially on market days. You don't need help actually. yes I know of its popularity. However, I'm concerned about the distance as I am in Agbara area. I am thinking of getting assistance to purchase and waybill if possible. also, I wouldn't mind buying from smugglers too; as it would be cheaper than than the market price, however, I really don't know any in that area; hence why I need your help. anyway, if it is inconvenient for you, no qualms at all chief. |

Health › Re: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by thedarkened: 4:21pm On Apr 04, 2024 |
Caleb4show: Good morning everyone, please I need your urgent advise My wife is 6 months pregnant this is her first pregnancy, I just move in to a new environment and I did some research and settle for a private hospital close to my new residence majorly because of distance, we both went to register at the hospital and they attend to us very well and they've been consistent with how deal with us, yesterday my brother in law called to advise me concerning going to government hospital to at least get their card and allow her to give birth in the government hospital if possible, his reason was that Government hospital usually have experience medical practitioner and best hands in cases of emergency, basically he is more concern perhaps if the situation get serious when she is about to deliver and trust government hospital to handle it more Here is the issue, my wife prefer the private hospital and also belive everything will pounce out well, which I believe distance is the major reason, she doesn't want to go through the stress of going to the government hospital for antenatal which is likely every week and part of my area road is quiet bad which is not really good for her health, the question now is should we go with what my brother in law said or stick with the private hospital, i myself all i care is for my child and wife well being before and after the delivery, however she is 6 months gone already, don't even know if going there to register at this stage will look somehow at the government hospital, please your advise is needed am new to this system congratulations to you on being an expectant father, God will perfect the remaining part of the journey. Let me just share my experience with you, perhaps you could learn one or two from it. I just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; my first child. However, prior to being a new parent and father, I had same feeling as you, I did not want to make a mistake especially as it concerned life. Being my first child and due to staff strength, modern equipment and facilities, I was advised to register in a General hospital. I followed the advice and registered there despite the fact that it is quite far from my area (at least it is the closest general hospital to me ; we just had to register in a General hospital). meanwhile, Due to the likelihood of emergency (no-one can predict accurately when labor will start), proximity, the nature of my work which sometimes take me away from home for two to three days and as alternative, we decided to register in a private maternity (which is run by a retired nurse who had worked in a General hospital); it is more less a stone throw from our house. But could you believe that she didn't give birth in any of the hospitals? (either general or private) . The day she was to give birth, there was a pubic holiday as it was a festive day and i was not certain if the general hospital will observe the holiday or not; I was confused as I wasn't ready to risk travelling that far to meet a locked gate. On the other hand, the woman whose private hospital we registered had travel out of the country prior to that day, although she is in a collaboration (she often refer her patients to the hospital) with a specialist hospital in a case of emergency and her travels such as what occurred. so, she had to refer us to that specialist hospital. The service of that specialist hospital was fantastic, except for the fact that we had to start payments all from the scratch, starting from the test, scan and eventual paying of the delivery bill. Regardless of the stress, I thank God that my wife and baby are both alive, hale and hearty. The bottom-line is that, I was able to access the specialist hospital on time because I registered with a private maternity who referred us there, ordinarily as water has broken already, my thought might have been to rush her to the general hospital or be confused as to which better hospital to go since I didn't register with them. So, I will advise you register in Both hospitals as advised, you never can tell which one will come handy on the delivery day. |

Romance › Naming Children; Your View And Experience. by thedarkened(op): 11:11am On Mar 13, 2024 |
where I come from, the norm is to give the surname the father bears to the child! oftentimes this name is passed down generations, this often pave ways to the children who are identified the moment the name is mentioned; as people could easily trace such a name back to the family.
However, I am at a T-junction. Where my wife come from, she believes it is the father's name that should be given to the child; that is, rather than giving my surname to my child, it is my own name that our child should bear since I am the father, and for my own name not to be forgotten!
I really love my wife's idea, however, as unpopular as I am, when travelled out of my state and resided in two states here in Nigeria at a time, my family name paved way for me as people who heard my surname traced me back to my father, and i enjoyed some privileges.
Please Nairalnders, what would you do in my shoe? how did you do yours, and why? |

U that u are yet to make a name for yourself Hmmm you are right, it paved way for me. but what is the place of the fathers' name (me)? does that not give room for it to fade over time? that is where I am confused. anyway i got your point, thanks. |

I just made some withdrawals from the bank and this guy came and ask for 2k I removed 2k from the stack of naira notes i just withdraw and gave it to him, this lowlife came back around 2 am with 3 guys and robbed and stabbed me all because of 300k I withdraw. I am alive because the stab didn't touch anything deadly. Not that im a cheerful giver from that day if you like beg me from morning till night I'll give you proof that I am suicidal because of how broke I am, you'll never see me with more than 5k Hmmm this a painful experience, sorry about that. While rendering assistance, once should be watchful; that's the lesson i picked from this experience. Indeed some experience can change one's Outlook and view about matters.
