With heavy hearts we mourn the loss of an exceptional talent. Someone who was more than an artist or signee but a brother and dear friend Promise " Mohbad" Oladimeji Aloba. We send our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones, we are all heartbroken by his tragic loss and will be truly missed.

From inception we recognized Mohbad was a force to be reckoned with. His music gave so many people love and light. Mohbad touched us all with his heartfelt lyrics, story telling, infectious smile and energy. The news of his passing has left us with a permanent hole in our hearts.

Mohbad is an incredible street pop star who contributed to the foundation of the Martian Music. Despite his departure last year we continually championed his talent. No family is perfect, families have disagreements but no harm whatsoever was wished on Mohbad. So many things left unsaid but the love was always there. This tragedy is not only a loss for us but to everyone you touched musically around the world.

As we share our condolences to the late Mohbad, we would like to echo a call for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. We're unhappy and unsettled with everything we have witnessed since Tuesday the 12th Sept. We owe it to Mohbad to assist with uncovering any foul play or injustice. Our brother deserved a better send off, it saddens us that we couldn't assist with providing a befitting burial. We will continue our efforts to reach out to the family.
We urge our colleagues in the media to treat this matter with the utmost sensitivity, respect and care. We publicly appeal to the authorities to do due diligence and we will work closely to support those handling the matter. Finally urge the online community to refrain from circulating damaging accusations that could compromise the investigation.

I read her previous conversations and she was saying the same thing. Say the truth and don't lie. She also went further to say that she would not allow any one maltreat the victims but will however not allow the victims join hands with others to maltreat an innocent man


Are you even aware that the man being destroyed in the media is the one to go to court first. If they had any tangible evidences, why have the victims not go e to court yet but they are all over the social media. Enough of media trials, the alleged victims should meet the lecturer in court with concrete evidences (if they had any)

The Presidential Election Petitions Court on Wednesday affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

On whether the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was right to return Tinubu as the duly elected by majority of lawful votes cast in the February 25, 2023 poll, the Tribunal held that the petitioner — the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar —  did not successfully prove the allegations against this ground and indeed all the grounds in their petition.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, leader of the five-man panel, said, “This petition accordingly lacks merit. I affirm the return of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties are to bear their cost.”

The court also expunged 37 exhibits tendered by the witnesses from the court’s records.

On the issue of dumping of documents on the court, he held that this would only go to the weight to be attached to such evidence.

On the issue of Tinubu’s conviction and the issue of his dual citizenship, the Tribunal again held like it earlier did that this issues were incompetent and liable to be struck out and same were indeed struck out.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, called on the members of the church to pray for his death if he consults demons in performing miracles, signs and wonders.

Adeboye said this during the RCCG Holy Ghost Service of the 71st Annual Convention at the Redemption Camp, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Friday.

The revered pastor said some prophets accused him of using demonic powers in leading the church, as well as preaching and prophesying to his members.

Adeboye said his attention was drawn to some publications on the internet where some so-called prophets, clerics and groups of persons made the allegation.

Addressing the congregation at the gathering, he urged the congregation to pray that he dies before sunrise if he is guilty of the allegation.

He said he initially ignored the rumours but on second thought because of others that might want to believe, he decided to speak about it.

Adeboye said, “We are going to pray one more prayer. I usually don’t pay attention to the sayings of some so-called prophets, especially if they are saying something about me. I just ignore them.”

“But, I learned that recently some people are saying Pastor Adeboye is using demonic forces, that there are some demons at Redemption Camp, that Pastor Adeboye will consult. Then, He would come and say ‘My Daddy said’.

“I just felt I should not pay any attention, but they said they put these things on the internet. Then, when I was praying, I think about two or three days ago, as I was praying for the Convention naturally, then I felt the leading, that there might be some people, who might believe this thing.”

He asked the congregation to pray, “If there is any connection between him and forces of darkness. You are going to call on Almighty God, kill him before the sun rises so that he doesn’t spoil Your Name.

“So, that he doesn’t lead several innocent people to hell. Then, you add to that prayer. Say Father, but if this boy (Adeboye) is using your power and your power alone, then multiply that power seven folds.”

The Lagos State Government is shocked at the news of the death of Dr. Vwaere Diaso, a Medical Officer undergoing housemanship at the Lagos State General Hospital, Odan.

The sad event occurred on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

The State Government, especially management and staff of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, commiserate with the family of the deceased on the unfortunate loss of their daughter who passed on as a result of the mechanical failure of an elevator at the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island.

An inquiry by a team of officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Health, Lagos State Health Service Commission, Lagos State Safety Commission and certified Lift and Vertical Transportation Equipment experts has commenced.

The Lagos State Government will ensure that anyone found negligent by the report of the inquiry will face appropriate sanctions.
