I simply restrict her movement to my compound and I try my best to keep the compound as neat as possible.

Omg poor Luwis The same thing happen to me and I’m still in it till now, I’m busy now and I don’t have much time for my dogs,what I did was I had to take my two Boerboel to my vet and send him money weekly for their feeding which didn’t really go well cause I lose Ruby in the process(female Boerboel) but the male is still with him though cause I still never got time. What I will advice if you don’t want to sell her is if you have a relative or close relations that’s a dog lover and you trust him to take good care of luwis for you then you can keep Luwis with him pending the time you will be free to get her back.

I don't know if anyone noticed I normally post updated pics and conditions of lady luwis latest the end of the first WK of a new week .... But I faulty this month due to the fact that my job nature change,I travel more frequently this day. This make me worried about Luwis... Coz truth be told I don't have time fr her anymore ,her feeding and care quality has deprecated coz I literally don't have anyone around who can care fr her as I want... She looking cool now BT I now over time it will tell on her..
So the taught of selling her to someone that will take good care of keeps crossing my mind, I don't want to considering the fact that I will be in the loosing end no matter how much I sell her ,coz will be on heat and litter months from now ..... N I so much care fr her!!!.....
I Need your Advice ...... What do u feel I should do sell her or try to manage the Situation.?

I always experience this when I take Gemma to the vet, the vet shop is in a complex so there are lots of people there, everybody keep asking questions, what’s this,does this have a eyes blah they don’t even know Gemma is a dog especially when I branch to the market on our way home from the vet

So I was grooming my lhasa this evening as usual. A lady came to do some work at home, then she saw my lhasa on the grooming table with all my grooming tools, comb, brush, demating rake, spray etc.

She was so shocked that she opened her mouth agape, wondering why anyone would want to groom a dog as though they were grooming a human with long hair.

I just couldn't hold my laughter because of the raw shock she expressed, like it's something she has never seen nor heard of before in her entire life.

We have a long way to go in Nigeria in the aspect of pet awareness. We don't yet understand the importance of owning pets in Nigeria, at least for a large majority in Nigeria.

Majority in Nigeria still find it to be very strange when someone takes very good care of an animal.

No doubt, he made me get Gemma.

I had read all about Beverly here and each day grew more in love for apso pet..
When I saw her at first I was Wowed
Her expression was quite funny cos she was on heat. She didn’t barked or let me say because she noticed the presence of SIMBA..
I must say Jackofall had done a great job on her. Her furry hair was something that blew me away..
I had never felt a fur so tender, soft and smooth.. damn I was impressed and again she looks more bigger and beautiful in real time than what Jackofall is showing y’all..
For all readers here You should get a Lhasa apso and keep as a companion

Dogs have different kind of. barks with different meanings. If you pay close attention to the bark when she is calling your attention to the bark when an intruder is around, it's different.

The bark for desire or calling your attention is usually high pitched with some other sounds in the mix, I don't know how to describe it...

When you start paying attention to her different barks, you would begin to know what each means.

There’s something I notice about Gemma, she’s fearless. She doesn’t get to stop doing things when you shout at her, I notice lately when I or my brother try to stop her anytime she’s trying to bite our legs by shouting at her especially my brother, she will face him and start barking, same thing if she’s trying to reach for my hand and I’m not letting her, she will start barking at me.

If I try that with my dog, within an hour she would start scratching the dog and whining for me to open it and sleep beside her.

One thing about Gemma is she get to adapt to changes easily. She doesn’t cry at all the first time I start leaving her alone, the only time she cry is in the morning when she’s hearing my voice and I haven’t let her out of her room.
My dog doesn’t sleep in my bed even when she sleeps in my room, I only let her do that the day I brought her home, I always fear that she’ll fall off the bed maybe when I’m asleep cause Gemma like to dey waka waka about

And your dog is mostly black so full bathing won't really be a frequent event. I made the mistake of using ordinary water the first time I bath a dog(Beverly). She cried so much.

Gemma have been settling in well and we’ve been bounding very good. She’s just the type of pet I want because she’s so calm and doesn’t give me any trouble whatsoever, always hyper,happy girl.
Every visitor we’ve been having so far Gemma is here have know her,she follows everyone around and if you’re too calm with her she start to bite your legs and hands Gemma has kept everyone’s leg off the ground because if there’s any leg on the ground she will start to bite the leg with her small teeth,that’s what make everyone run from her lol,she’s so playful when she want to,she do everything at her pace which is a good one.
I decide to take her bath on Friday and it was a success,she’s calm and doesn’t give me any problem as a first timer. After the bath I noticed Gemma is shaking,I tried to avoid this that was why I didn’t bath her with ordinary water,I used warm water, so I had to wrap her in her towel and lay her on my leg until she’s calm and good to go.

sure I didn’t dispute that fact but they’re lots of unworthy admins on the group and got me disappointed so much, you need to see what few of the admin did after I was blocked, they went as far as texting me personally, I didn’t even say much word but they’re so childish there mehn, I wish I could get back to the group and expose there childish acts. but I threatened one of them to expose his rubbish act when I get back on the group,they promise to get me back in next 24hrs but they never did, guess the guy is scared and make sure I didn’t get back to the group lmao
