you need to understand that the owner is not taking the dogs back, it’s not every adoption that comes for free. This is just an opportunity for someone who wants the dog to get them for a cheaper amount compare to the regular prices. I don’t know how you see this but I’ve seen this way of adoption around very well, people can’t relocate their dogs with them and can’t keep waiting for long till buyers come so they opt for a simpler means by getting rid of them cheaper, would you have stopped if you see a pure breed adult dog for 75k. You too reason ham now, it’s a win win for the buyer and the owners.

Owner is traveling and need their dogs to be adopted in a good home that they will receive proper care and be a great reward to the adopters.
The owner wants the dogs in a place that he will be sure they are safe that’s why he his not selling them off away so if you are capable of keeping the dogs and live within Ibadan or nearby possible for you to pick them up then you can reach out for a few questioning.

My neighbor has both a Caucasian and a GSD and he has said he will sell the puppy of either dog to me whenever the Adult Female litters. I'm not really optimistic about this because I'm about to be a first time owner and have no prior experience....

The same thing with my Lhasa too when I got her, she doesn’t eat any dog food except what I eat, I started to give her only noodles and fish and she ate that till she’s over 6 months before I discover this mix, she likes the mix and the mix is very good for her cause it makes her add weight so quickly and obviously. She’s over a year now and still feed on this mix and she’s doing well. so I’ll suggest you try the mix on your dog and see, it should work well for her if you do the mix well.

I have a 13 weeks old Lhasa.

After I got him at a little over 8 weeks, the breeder suggested I continue feeding him Diamond Puppy dry dog food. I bought the medium pack but the dog rarely eats it. I tried wetting the dry food with milk and water separately at different times but he rarely eats it.

Instead, he prefers to eat anything he sees me eating. As expected, his stool is mostly soft and does smell like human poop at times.

I plan to try this local dog food formular this weekend and I hope he likes it.

Aside him eating what I eat, I feed him raw egg daily and on weekends I boil a good amount of meat for him. I don't know if this is okay?

I got a cute German Shepherd which I loved so much. She's supposed to be an indoor trained dog since I don't want her sleeping outside. She sleeps in our room and that was my girlfriends decision. She's 7 weeks old, and I must say she's a lucky dog.
The problem: she has a very nasty habit of eating her poop! I understand pooty training takes some time and considering her age, I'm very patient when she poos or pee where she shouldn't so I try to correct her by taking her immediately where she should do her business. But eating her poop! This is making me consider returning her to the breeder. Today we where all in the sitting room and she was alone in the room eating, my girlfriend decided to check on her and shouted, when I got to the room I saw the mess she made of her poop she didn't only eat it, she robbed it all over the place. I picked her up and placed her close to her poop, and she immediately went to taste it, I used a finger and struck it on her butt and she yelled! I took her again and placed her in close to the poop and she was so scared of going close to it not to mention attempting to eat it. I did this over and over again and she won't even go close.
I understand she's just 7 weeks old and probably learnt this nasty behaviour from her Mom, but the fact she knew I don't like this behaviour but repeatedly do it is making me consider returning her or getting a shock collar to punish her. Ave owned a cat, and my sister owns 2 cats they don't give such headaches.
