Romance / Dated Him For 6 Yrs, Had 7 Abortions, Paid His Fees; He's Marrying My Bestfriend by theinfong(m): 12:24pm On Jan 18, 2018
Recall last week, we shared a story, a story about a guy who dated his girl for 8 solid years, never had sexual relations with her but eventually got dumped after she was done with her MSc programme. Well, today's story might just make you CRY.. Literally. This story is saddening, saddening because the lady in question may or may not be able to conceive again. Saddening because, some men are truly scum and also, because a lover was not only fooled but a close friend was used to fill the gap. Life!

Unlike last week's story, this came directly from the horse's mouth. According to her, she summoned the courage to tell her story after she read about the guy whose girl left immediately she rounded up her MSc.

And like always, I'd try to summarise this as much as I can. We will replace the girl's name with Ms. J and the guy's as Mr. J.

Like I stated earlier, this is directly from the horse's mouth.

Sit back, relax and read through....

In the year 2009, Ms. J who resides in Abuja, rounded up her Secondary School studies and like many other Nigerian fresh high school graduates, she attempted JAMB. (For readers who aren't familiar with our great country's education system, Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions. The board conducts entrance examinations for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities.

Of course, she was a very smart girl, so she passed with a good score (297 to be precise) and luckily for her, she was shortlisted for PUME (An examination conducted by Universities to further screen candidates). Fast forward to her journey to the West, she was to stay with her aunt for her PUME and like every concerned Nigerian parents, they had instructed her aunt (father's youngest sister) to make sure she read thoroughly for her PUME which was suppose to hold in few days.

But truly, they didn't even need to go that far, because she was a "serious-bookworm", a bookworm who intentionally bereft herself from the pleasures of "hanging out or making friends" but made sure her books followed her wherever she went to! In fact, she was the Library prefect in her Secondary School days (I forgot to chip that in, earlier.)

Few days after flying into town, it was time for her to yet again make her family proud. Her aunt drove her to the University.... It was the University for the big boys and girls. The University where things happen.. The University where "all dem ladies" loved packaging themselves. She went in for her PUME and came out with smiles. She knew she had worked her usual magic and was very certain her first attempt into University was a done-deal.

She had asked and begged her parents to let her stay with her aunt for a while, so as to chill with her (her aunt wasn't married by the way). Her parents agreed, after all, she was with her closest relative they thought, it wouldn't be so nice to just let her breeze in for her PUME then out immediately she's done. "Give the girl some breathing space", they thought.

Her aunt was an entrepreneur who had a thriving Digital Agency, which was quite popular. She had a staff strength of about 25. One day, Ms. J asked that she followed her to the office, and she obliged. That was the day everything started changing!

She met Mr. J in her aunt's company. He was a part-time staff in the agency and right after her meeting with him, things took a drastic turn. In fact, it was love at first sight for her. According to her, Mr. J had everything she ever wanted in a guy. He did not only tickle her fancy, he also took her to cloud 9 by just gazing. (The question would be, what does a 17 year old book-worm know about "tickling fancy" right??).. Well,...

One thing led to another, they started communicating, and all through the five weeks she stayed at her aunt's, she always followed her to her workplace and the times she stayed back home as a result of her menstrual cramps, she informed Mr. J, so he called in sick, didn't show up at work but went to chill with, comfort and caress her. At that point, she was over the moon. To her, no one had ever shown her such care during her "painful moments". This happened for 3 days and right under her aunt's supervision.

She got excited when she got to realise that he was in the same university she applied and wrote her PUME. He was a second year student who decided to make extra cash by running a part-time job in Ms. J's aunt's digital agency.. It meant one thing, they will be closer if she eventually got admission into the University.

It was time for her to fly back to Abuja, they said their goodbyes over the phone and she begged that he continued communicating. This, they did and when the list came out, she was accepted into the University to study Law (Her first choice).

Fast-forward to when she got into Uni:

Ms. J had convinced her parents that, she wanted an accommodation in campus. She told them that it would be easier for her to be more focussed with her studies, easier to access the school's library, study there and also, easier for her to attend lectures on time because her aunt's place was quite a distance from the University and the usual traffic will be stressful.  Her parents "okayed" it and sent her funds for her hostel accommodation but unbeknownst to them, she did this so as not to be supervised by her aunt and also, to be free to be with her Mr. J (Young love).

In her first year, second semester, on her birthday to be precise, Mr. J asked her to be his girl, of which she agreed to and that indeed, changed the course of her destiny. She was so in love with Mr. J that she became his mother, care-taker, lover, financial adviser, helper, money lender,  money-dasher, bill-footer and the list goes on. (By the way, she was from a very rich family, so money was truly never her problem). She did everything for and with him and maybe..., just maybe that's why he decided to take her for granted.

Three days after her birthday, he begged her to come over and spend the night at his place (He shared a room with his friend). They had planned to "make love" that night. Of course, this was her first time, and she was very  much okay giving her body to her first love. Things were going great, her clothes off, about getting a lubricant then a knock on the door was heard. It was his roommate. He had come back from a fellowship. The time was some minutes past 8pm. Though he had informed and begged his roommate to chill in another room that night, his roommate didn't oblige. (His roommate was one of those overly-not soggy guys), so he had messed up their plans big time! So many pleas from Mr. J fell on deaf ears and he actually insisted on lying on the same bed as the girl and Mr. J.. In his own words, "I pay the same amount of money with you, so I have to sleep on the bed."

Crazy right?.... Yes!

Every plan they had was shattered, she had to leave the room and head back to her hostel because the bed was not big enough to accommodate three people. Luckily, his apartment wasn't so far from the hostel.

Four days after the incident, Ms. J paid in a huge sum of money into her boyfriend's account and asked him to get a well furnished accommodation. The decision to do this was made after she consulted her closest friend on campus, Titi. Titi happened to be her bonk mate and also, course-mate. Mr. J, after series of refusal to accept her offer, later obliged (After all, it was beneficial to both of them). He got a house, very comfortable, got furniture and also, got a generator. The money was that much that her could get all these and have some more change for running around.

The night after he had settled into the new house, his "wash-night plan" was to deflower her. He made love to her (at least, that is what she thought). From that moment, she became his sex doll. Every time and everyday, he'd control her to his house for sex. Sometimes during her lectures, he will keep buzzing her till she finally decides to leave class for his apartment. He even suggested that she moved in with him, to stay from Monday to Fridays since she normally spends the weekend at her aunt's. She accepted this, thinking it was in her own best interest. At least, everyone would know it is official - So, she thought.

His fourth year was a bit rough for him. He had quit his part time job in Ms. J's aunt's place to fully concentrate in school, and for the fact that he was the first of five kids from a broken home and his mum did menial jobs to sustain herself and the kids, help from home wasn't forthcoming. He was sad to say the least but Ms. J became his knight and shinning armour. She would make sure he lacked nothing, I mean nothing at all. Ms. J always got an excess of N70,000 monthly allowance from home, so she'd keep N20,000+ for herself and give N50,000 to her boyfriend. (It is noteworthy to mention that Mr. J was paid N50K monthly from his part time job he quit). Meaning, she started paying the exact same amount he was receiving when he was still working.. (Indeed, she truly loved this lad).

She'd use N20,000+ to take care of herself. Deprived herself of the things she normally used which were expensive and because she didn't want her parents thinking about how she suddenly developed a lavish lifestyle, she never asked that they topped her monetary-allowance. Mr. J was living the life. Now he could afford to spend without thinking of how the money was made. Flexing at the detriment of his bae. Drinking, smoking and even womanising.. His true colours started showing but she still loved him, regardless.

Prior to his fourth year, after deflowering her, he normally wore a condom each time he wanted to have sex with her, but, after his fourth year; second semester, he insisted they go raw. This caused a strain in their relationship because Ms. J didn't want it but he insisted that if she truly loved him, she would oblige. They had a serious fight over this, so she went back to her accommodation in school, once again, confided in Titi (who eventually became her best friend in Uni). Titi advised that she give in because she had already given a lot to the relationship and it will be dumb for her to lose him because of "sex". And like always, she agreed.

Days after their fight, she went to his house to apologise but met a girl there. A 300L Law student who she recognised (She would later discover he had sex with her and many others too). Bae begged silly that night, cried her eyes off, cried like a pikin just so he could forgive her for refusing to have sex without a condom. But my guy refused. It took the intervention of Titi, who came to his house to subdue the whole tension and issue. Titi had played her part, time for her to go, he asked that he gets her number just so as to be able to reach Ms.J through her incase Ms.J's phone is switched off. Ms. J, reluctantly accepted (She couldn't do much at this point, because she didn't want another issue and for the fact that Titi was her closest friend and the reason why things didn't fall apart, she just kept mum in the background).

Sex was like free food for Mr. J and his PULL OUT GAME was LAME! That same year, she had 3 abortions for him (3 abortions in one year) and each time she aborted, he'd promise that he would be careful next time.

Mr. J in his final year, had issues with some courses, so he automatically had an extra year. Ms. J was in her 4th year now, and about to graduate. Her grades had somewhat nose-dived because of the stress in her relationship. Things weren't going as planned anymore and it now looked like she was just a sex-doll for him, yet, she still had hope that he loved her. That same year, she had another 3 abortions, and on her sixth attempt, she almost died of complications. In fact, the doctor said he won't be involved in any abortion case concerning her, anymore. She almost bled to death. It was at this point she started re-thinking life.(But this didn't last for long because she was blinded by love)

Just like her boyfriend, she had issues with some courses and had to re-sit. That year saw her G.P fall like an Iroko tree. She started struggling with average grades in almost all papers.

Her boyfriend finally graduated with a 2.1 after sorting some lecturers (money he got from his bae) and was posted to Abuja for his NYSC. She was ecstatic after hearing about this because she had planned to relocate full time to Abuja immediately after the completion of her studies. Her law school was already prepped by her parents in Abuja. (They were that influential). Titi had graduated before her and left the university to her base in Oyo State. She regularly spoke to her concerning life's matters and most importantly, issues between she and her bae

Even after graduating, Ms. J was still financially responsible for him and the funny thing is, after four years of dating, he never for once even introduced her to his nuclear family. (He always had an excuse each time she raised the topic. Always!)

After 3 weeks in Kubwa camp, and getting his Place of Primary Assignment (PPA), he headed back to Lagos to see his family and also, Ms. J. Unbeknownst to her, he actually came to see her so she could help him raise some money to rent a boys quarters (BQ) he found which was close to his primary assignment. The sum was quite much, but she just had to raise it so he could be comfortable in Abuja, she did the usual, sent funds to his account. After that day, he was coming to their lodge for steady knacks.. She fell pregnant again! And like always, was asked to do the needful which she reluctantly did. (Her 7th abortion in 4 years). Because their regular abortion-expert doctor refused to do the D&C, they had to travel all the way to another state to flush it. Titi had recommended a good doctor. After the successful D&C, the doctor made it known to her that, she might not be able to bear a child again because her womb may have been affected. And she decided to share this vital information with her best friend, Titi... (Ladies, keeping to yourself helps a whole lot).

Fast forward to her graduation and relocation back to Abuja:

Titi had started her Law School earlier and was based in Abuja too, a stone-throw from Mr.J's house. In fact, Ms. J was aware they sometimes visited themselves. Ms. J begged her friend to help with foodstuffs for her bae, which she obliged. Their bond became stronger, then the "long-overdue affection" began to manifest. Titi had made it known that she always had feelings for him since University days and was jealous of her his relationship with Ms. J. Mr. J also, made it known that, he felt same way and though he never buzzed her after collecting her digit way back in school, his main intention was to get to know her better but couldn't because he somewhat had Ms.J full time at home and didn't want to arouse suspicion.

Titi decided to spill the beans on her best-friend's inability to bear a child and immediately Mr. J heard it, he found a LEVERAGE to leave her. Citing that, he definitely won't be with her anymore because what he is looking for right now is a WIFE MATERIAL.

When Ms. J came back to Abuja, she noticed Mr. J had changed towards her, and in fact, each time they had sex, he always wore a condom, cold shoulders, lackadaisical attitude towards her and rarely even called or checked up on her but still, she was still giving him his regular pay check on a monthly (50k).

Three months gone, his behaviour worsened, it was clearer to her that she probably had lost his love. So one day, she decided to show up at his, unannounced. Lo and behold, she met bae with Titi, lying down in his bed,.... Stark Naked! (My question at this point was, since he heard a knock on his door and most likely verified it was Ms. J, why didn't he ask Titi to dress up? At least, even if she had her clothes on, she won't have been really fussed!)..... The answer I got was; maybe they were tired of hiding and didn't care anymore.

She was greeted with a smile from her supposed BEST FRIEND and before she could say a word, Mr. J said, "I broke up with you long ago, I broke up with you the very day I was told you may not be able to bear children. How will I marry a barren woman?" Right there and then, she knew Titi was behind this but all she could do was sob and leave...

5+ years of her life gone, 5+ years of so many sacrifices for Mr. J, 5+ years of giving her all for the relationship. 5+ years gone to the drain.. 5 + years! All these flooded her thoughts.

As I write this, Ms. J is out of the country and an IV for Titi and Mr. J's wedding has flooded Social Media. Titi and her Ms.J's ex dated for a year+ and decided to tie the knot. Mr. J now works in a big Engineering Firm in PortHarcourt while Titi just finished her NYSC. The wedding is for 27th,January

What a life!

Romance / Re: "I Dated Her For 8 Years, Never Had Sex With Her, After Her MSc, She Dumped Me" by theinfong(m): 4:03pm On Jan 13, 2018
Well said!

niggi4life:
Hmmmm.... What a sad story!

For those calling d guy names, if u had been in love before you will know how it feels. The truth is Guys love more when they are truly in a relationship.

My only fear is that the guy shouldn't be a Yoruba Demon after healing.

I keep telling people, do not date when you are not ready, focus on your goals first, achieve your dreams, if not all but most, You see, there isn't only one girl for a guy, there are numerous, woman plenti die!!!!!! D beautiful ones r not yet born.

When u r ready to settle down, pray to God for a WIFE, leave the rest for d Almighty, he will surely give you one in due time.

Some will say date him/her for at least 3-5years to know him/her very well... All the Exes that you have had and dated for long why didn't u end up with them?

When u r ready to settle down with a woman, get your Check List, firstly Assess yourself, are u financially capable to start a family? Are u spiritually and mentally matured? Can you control ur sex urges when other women start approaching? Can you live with a woman for d rest of your life? Score yourself in your assessment, if you go below 90% u are not ready.
Then assess the woman, is she ready? Is she mentally and spiritually stable for a family? Is she supportive and submissive? Forget all these feminism shiiits, even Beyonce is so loyal and submissive to Jayz.

After your assessment go for counseling and get married..

You will continue to know yourselves and love yourselves more as you grow together

All these i listed shouldn't take a Ready man more than a year to achieve

Romance / "I Dated Her For 8 Years, Never Had Sex With Her, After Her MSc, She Dumped Me" by theinfong(m): 1:33pm On Jan 13, 2018
"I dated her for 8 yrs, never had sex with her, took care of her, after her MSc, she dumped me" - Man shares story

Heard this and almost cried my eyes off. Each time I get to hear some ladies say, "men are scum", I seldom keep quiet because I have loads of stories and experiences which when shared will not only silence them but may change their mentality about the "men are scum phrase." So, a friend visited my house days back, whilst gisting, he shared a story about a bosom friend of his, who almost committed suicide over the girl he dated. We will use Mr. I as the boyfriend and Ms. I as the girlfriend. I will try as much as possible to cut the long story short.

According to him, Mr. I had been dating Ms. I since 2008, he was in the university then, 200 level to be precise, whilst she was about finishing secondary school. And like many young lovers, everything was good and going fine except the usual "childish mentality" from both parties of course.

Things kept blossoming, everything soft and nice. She got into the university, a private Nigerian university, fortunately for Mr. I, it wasn't one of those universities where phones weren't allowed, so they kept communicating and in fact, since the relationship gradually started maturing, their love kept shinning bright like a diamond.. So bright that other male chyker's couldn't approach Ms. I because almost everyone in campus knew she was "bae-gaged." Yes, she was that proud of her bae then.

Mr. I never missed the opportunity of leaving his university to visit her every weekend, notwithstanding the distance.. Oh, I forgot to tell you, he schooled in far away East, whilst she schooled in the West. And the journey from his university to hers took him 7-8 hours by road and of course, he always used road except extreme cases where he decided to use flight.

Not only did he risk his life plying  bad roads every weekend just to see bae, he also made sure he got stuffs for her, food stuffs and sometimes money (He took it upon himself to bring provisions and money two weekends out of four, monthly). Indeed, bae was balling, no wonder she was so bae-gaged!

And whenever they were on break, back to their respective homes (fortunately they both lived in Lagos), he was with her almost every other day. In fact, both parents knew they were dating. Yes, and they both approved of it. Indeed, Mr. I was happy, he had the acceptance of bae's family members and of course, the heart of bae (So he thought).

A couple of times, when bae resumed a new semester and Mr. I was still home, boss-man will take it upon himself to fuel his car and drive his woman to her uni, not only that, sometimes took provisions to bae's siblings' schools too. Mr. I was in love, so he just wanted to make her family members love him more.. Every guy who has truly loved, will know this feeling..

"Mans" was usually broke in school because of bae, you know, bae schooled in a private university and lifestyle was more expensive there. Of course, to please bae and make her family know he was man enough, Mr. I usually soaked garri in his hostel whilst he sent the food stuffs given to him by his parents to his girl.. Love nwantiti right?

Fast forward to his graduation, he got a job which wasn't well-paying like that, but always made sure 50% of his salary went to bae's account. Yes a whole 50%.. (It was at this point I literally started tearing up. A tear dropped from my eye and I am certain my friend saw this. If only he knew that I was tearing up because I couldn't really fathom how mans was so in love that he forgot there is a difference between a girlfriend and a wife). Worst still is, he hadn't even engaged her yet! Oh my gosh!!!!

Well, love was still there (so he thought). All through the years of dating, spending, killing himself to please she and her family, he never for once had any sexual relation with her. Never for once, because she claimed to be a virgin. The best he ever got was a kiss.. A kiss bruh!

Fast forward to when she graduated from university, Mr. I threw a big party for her. Hosted over 30 people (friends and family). Spent close to N650K on the bash (Unbeknownst to his siblings, he borrowed a huge sum of money from his friends so as to make the party a huge success)... And a huge one it was (At this point I started thinking, If only he had engaged her at the bash he threw for her, maybe things would have turned out differently)... Well, who knows, right?

Months after she graduated, he lost favour from his employers, so he was sacked. Things dwindled from his end so his usual 50% to his bae, stopped. 3 months after he lost his job, bae informed him she was going to study abroad, going for her masters' program in Russia. (Funny thing is, she never told him when she even applied nor got accepted). Well, she apologised, he forgave and they were still chilling.

Weeks later, it was time for her to travel, he dropped her off at the airport, they did the usual (kissed and bid themselves goodbyes right in front of her fam.. Yes, they were that close you know!).

Chatting, skyping, doing all sort of things, all these lasted for 3 to 4 months of her stay in Russia. Things became bad afterwards, communication not only dwindled but it dissolved, "mans" was no longer getting attention, "mans" was confused yet still going to bae's house to help out in one or two errands for fam.

To cut the long story short..... Few weeks before she was done with her programme, she sent a text, which read, "We can't be together anymore, I am sorry." .... That was all, 8 years and that's all she sent. No explanation as to why she wanted to call quits. (Cold right?)

Mr. I lost it at this point, became severely depressed, in fact, he was almost going insane. He had to be on drugs. Severally tried suicide but luckily for him, his younger brother came to the rescue. He was eventually admitted in Lagoon for 5 weeks. This was the period bae came back. Bad thing is, she didn't even bother informing him she was coming back and worst thing is, when she eventually heard he was hospitalised, she didn't step her foot in Lagoon hospital.. A cruel world right?

Right as we speak, Mr. I has been in and out of hospital, going through one or two crisis. He has lost touch of reality and become a shadow of himself, whereas Ms. I hasn't bothered seeing him since she came back to Nigeria and in fact, is about to be wed in April 2018.

Love is a beautiful thing only and when it is true and mutual so children of the world, love with your heart, but use your brain!

PS: This is a true life story from a friend to be shared on TheInfo.NG.

Celebrities / “Cheap Thing, All You Do Is Sleep With Rich Guys” – Fan Blast Toke Makinwa by theinfong(m): 5:48am On Dec 24, 2017
Recall, Big Shaq was in Nigeria days back, as the international headliner for Rhythm Unplugged concert at Eko Hotels and Suites. Well, as usual, he got to meet with different celebs, and female crushes, one of which, was Toke Makinwa. And it seems, the meeting with the media personality and best selling author may have gotten our “selfmade multi-millionaire” a backlash from fans.

After Toke admitted she was extremely excited meeting with the ‘Mans Not Hot‘ crooner, Michael Dapaah, aka Big Shaq, she went as far as confessing that, she almost slept with the international act. Fans of course, reacted to the video-post which was published on Instagram. Many Instagrammers, insulted her and called her several derogatory names. Words like, ‘slut, LovePeddler, prostitute, olosho’ seemed to have been the most popular in the comment section of that post.

One fan, in her own words said; You are so cheap, all you do is sleep around with rich guys. Toke, of late, has been getting a lot of backlash after her love affair with Festus Fadeyi was shared by the billionaire’s kids. But, as usual, I trust that Toke will remain unbothered.

Typical Nigerians! They always have something to say regardless of them being asked to speak or not. So, photos of Rita Dominic was shared on Social Media, and instead of fans to like the photo and keep moving, some decided to bash the actress. A few saying, she is getting too old and others saying, she should go and get married or “carry belle”. Anyway, I still have that undying love for my Rita Dominic, any day, anytime.

Annie Idibia took to her Instagram page to celebrate she and her husband’s love which has spanned an incredible 12 years. As usual, the post metted out many comments, which had loads of congratulatory notes to them, but a fan took to her page and and made a rather sarcastic comment on the photo. Celebrities / Exposed: Big Brother Naija Show Is A Fraud! - How They Plan Making Tboss Win by theinfong(m): 9:18pm On Apr 02, 2017
Dear Nigerians and the whole of Africa, listen up. Big Brother Nigeria is a big time fraud. The producers, management, team and everyone at the backend are certified frauds and yes, they want TBoss to win! This has happened for so long a time and being one week left, it's best we all open our eyes to see what these guys are doing at the backend! They harnessed 11 million votes, 11 million votes for tonight's eviction show only.

Did you all see the voting stats for today's eviction show? TBoss led the poll with 26.49%.. TBoss for crying out loud! The same TBoss that had a far lesser percentage a week before. How, how did she just magically gain the love of Nigerians, South Africans, Ghanaians and the rest of Africa.

After they tried making TBoss not to be in the chopping board for eviction by (introducing a slimey-like nomination strategy, which was to ensure that the housemate with the highest votes by other housemates will be excluded from the eviction. They obviously did this because they projected that TBoss would have the most votes), now they most likely manipulated votes, making TBoss lead in the polls so no one will question her eventual win on the last day.

This is their strategy: TBoss leading in tonight's eviction show, makes we (the viewers automatically feel that the star prize is amongst She, Efe and Bisola)... Then the masterplan is, being that Efe and Bisola are close, their fans will split votes between themselves. Then the other votes will be shared between Marvis and Debie Rise. My projection is,

TBoss wins with 29%
Bisola gets 25%
Efe gets 24%
Debie Rise gets 12%
Marvis comes out with 10%

Saying I am shocked with the voting stats of today, is saying the least to be honest but then again, this is on an "alleged basis". I hope and pray the best man/woman actually wins this.

TV/Movies / Efe Was Drunk: Will It Make Him Not To Win BBNaija? by theinfong(m): 5:22am On Apr 02, 2017
Last night in #BBNaija revealed a thing or two about Efe, he just might not be able to control his love for alcohol. Oh yes, many a time, we saw him tipsy after getting alcohol in his system, but last night was the worst ever. He was totally drunk and needed support from Bally. Many social media users are upset with what they saw, and have taken to Social Media to curse at Efe.

What’s your say in this?

Celebrities / Nigerians React to Bassey’s Eviction While Tboss Still Remains In The House by theinfong(m): 7:37am On Mar 27, 2017
Yesterday’s Big Brother Naija’s live show, saw the eviction of the “well spoken, hard-working and articulate” Bassey, which indeed was a surprise to a whole lot of people. The live show which had four contestants; Bally, Bassey, TBoss and Debie Rise up for eviction, eventually stunned viewers as Bassey was outsted leaving the likes of TBoss and Bally still in.

Immediately Bassey was called out of the house, it took no more than 10 minutes before he became a trending topic in Nigeria’s Twitterdom, which somewhat led to a negative review of Big Brother Naija as many called out the show, saying that #BBNaija is organised by crooks and votes aren’t collated as it ought to be. TBoss, who is obviously the least-liked in the house was also called out in this mess as many fans of #BBNaija claim that there must be a thing or two going on between she and the organisers, that viewers don’t know as they feel that she is prioritised and always made to survive evictions regardless of general opinion of her on Social media.

Many claim that the show is rigged, and as such should be scrapped. Presently, the “hashtag” (#Bassey) still trends in Twitter Nigeria. What’s your say in this? Do you think the half-Edo girl is actually been favoured by the organisers or just may be, her so called “rich-private jet owners” are pumping money into votes for her.

Nairaland / General / Man Forces His Girlfriend To Drink Acid And His Reason Will Shock You! by theinfong(m): 9:00am On Mar 24, 2017
A 19-year-old woman was left hospitalized with a burnt throat and face after her former boyfriend forced her to drink acid on Wednesday, March 22, in south Delhi’s Sangam Vihar, India. Having received around 20 per cent burns, the woman, Muskan (not real name), is undergoing treatment in the emergency ward of AIIMS. She is expected to survive even as the doctors are yet to find out the extent of damage to her internal organs.

The alleged attacker, 22-year-old Ravi Kumar made her drink acid near her house. Her parents said no one in the neighbourhood came to her rescue. Kumar, managed to escape from the spot after the crime, but surrendered at Sangam Vihar police station, said Romil Baaniya, DCP (South-East). Kumar told the police that he was angry as he suspected Muskan to be in a relationship with someone else. He also feared that her family was set to engage her to someone else. The woman, the sole bread earner of her family, works at a footwear manufacturing unit in Sangam Vihar. She lives with her mother and two siblings. Ravi lives two lanes away and works as a tailor.

Celebrities / Everyone Is Angry With Bally After He Did This To Debie Rise - Biggie Reacted! by theinfong(m): 6:29pm On Mar 23, 2017
Hours back, Social Media went agog over Bally's outburst to Debie Rise. A lot of people are saying Bally verbally assaulted her, others saying he is arrogant, unapologetic and a bully.

Let's take you through what happened: Whilst Bally was conversing with Debie, he kind of let his tongue loose, and indirectly said she won't get married the way she acts, "her character". (Is this because of how she clings to Bassey?).

Debie got offended and made it known to the housemates. She took it very personal as she made it known that, even if it's a joke, it was a very wrong one and it should never happen again. Housemates decided to revisit the issue, after Bisola asjed that Bally apologise for his utterances but Bally, being the boss he is, asked that he explain better before he apologised. TBoss also chipped in, saying that he was totally wrong and his words were berating.

You can hear Debie throwing some subtle shades at Bally. Minutes after this short clicp, Biggie called Debie into the diary room, and they spoke at length. Will this in any way affect his votes? Knowing fully well he is up for eviction this week?

Wow!! what I heard Bally say just now is something what the pondering about! Lol, the lad who has been all catchy and clingy to Bisola just told Biggie, he would have put up Bisola for eviction if he were the Head of House.

Oh wow! Who would have ever thought this. According to him, he would have put her up as a strategic move because he feels she is a threat to his game and winning the star prize. What’s your say on this?

Celebrities / Video Of Don Jazzy & DNA Twins' Visit To Bbnaija That Brought Life To The House by theinfong(m): 12:46pm On Mar 20, 2017
Today is definitely one of my favourite Big Brother Naija experience so far. Yes, today's celebrity visit was off the hook. Don jazzy and DNA Twins brought "life" to the house and I mean, literally! Oh my gosh, it was fun all the way, I couldn't help but stay glued. The conversations, musical prowees, advises, performances and even the feeding was epic. Yes, epic.

Big Brother did a great deal today, wow! Everyone on Social Media is going crazy over the atmosphere in the house right now, all thanks to Don baba J and DNA Twins (who infacet, I have come to respect because of the advises and attitude throughout their stay).

Don Jazzy and Mavins never disappoint. They never do!

Celebrities / The Moment Thin Tall Tony Cried When He Got Evicted From #bbnaija by theinfong(m): 8:23pm On Mar 19, 2017
Tonight, married Thin Tall Tony, aka, TTT got evicted from Big Brother Naija show and for a fact, we all know why he was evicted. His game plan/strategy backfired at his face. He most likely forgot he is African and Nigerian to be precise. And in Nigeria, we take marriages seriously!

Immediately he started his romance with Bisola, even as far as getting a b.j from her, he kicked himself with his boot. Anyway, after he was asked to leave the house, you could see how he reacted, his voice all shaky when he thanked the housemates and his face when he went to meet Bisola. It was in a way "teary"

Nairaland / General / Nurses Share Heartbreaking Story Of What Happens To Babies Who Survive Abortion by theinfong(m): 8:07am On Mar 19, 2017
Often when a baby is born alive during an abortion procedure, the child is kept in the abortion clinic until he or she dies. In rare cases, the abortionist himself takes action to kill the baby. But sometimes the baby is transferred to a hospital, where he can be given medical care. Unfortunately, it is the policy of many hospitals simply to allow these babies to die. Nurse Kathleen Malloy, from Jacksonville, Florida, witnessed the death of one baby who was born after a saline abortion and transferred to her hospital.

Melanie Green of Last Days Ministries quoted Malloy in her pamphlet “Children: Things We Throw Away?” Malloy tells her story:

I worked the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift, and when we weren’t busy, I’d go out to help with the newborns. One night I saw a bassinet outside the nursery. There was a baby in this bassinet – a crying, perfectly formed baby – but there was a difference in this child. She had been scalded. She was the child of a saline abortion.
This little girl looked as if she had been put in a pot of boiling water. No doctor, no nurse, no parent, to comfort this hurt, burned child. She was left alone to die in pain. They wouldn’t let her in the nursery – they didn’t even bother to cover her.
I was ashamed of my profession that night! It’s hard to believe this can happen in our modern hospitals, but it does. It happens all the time. I thought a hospital was a place to heal the sick – not a place to kill.

I asked a nurse at another hospital what they do with their babies that are aborted by saline. Unlike my hospital, where the baby was left alone struggling for breath, their hospital puts the infant in a bucket and puts the lid on. Suffocation! Death by suffocation!
A saline abortion is performed by injecting the caustic saline solution into the amniotic fluid that surrounds an unborn baby in the second trimester. The baby breathes in the fluid, which burns her lungs and scorches her skin, causing her to die within several hours. The mother then goes through labor to give birth to the dead baby. This type of abortion is seldom performed today because it led to so many live births and because it was dangerous to women; it had the potential to cause severe damage to the woman’s body if the saline was injected into her bloodstream. A similar procedure where

This type of abortion is seldom performed today because it led to so many live births and because it was dangerous to women; it had the potential to cause severe damage to the woman’s body if the saline was injected into her bloodstream. A similar procedure where poison is injected into the baby’s heart, or, in some cases, the amniotic fluid, still takes place today and is used in the late second and third trimesters.

The baby Malloy watched die never had a name and never had a chance to live. In a similar situation, Gianna Jessen, who was also aborted by the saline method, was given medical care and survived. She is now a pro-life activist, and her website can be found here.

A 2002 article in The Journal of Clinical Nursing seems to indicate that nurses encounter babies born alive after abortions with some frequency. According to the article:

In the case of late termination, the death of the fetus before delivery, though usual, is not inevitable except in rare cases of extreme physical abnormality[.] … At times the fetus will actually attempt to breathe or move its limbs, which makes the experience extremely distressing for nurses. Also, whereas the woman will probably go through this process once in her lifetime, nurses may go through it several times a year or even in the same week. (1)
The article quotes author and lecturer Annette D. Huntington, BN, Ph.D. saying that abortion live births are a “regular occurrence.”

Another nurse who found herself in the terrible position of caring for an aborted baby told her story in the newsletter of Friendship Pregnancy Center (now called Women’s First Choice Center) in Morristown, New Jersey.

Her story, which can be read in its entirety here, is heartbreaking. On the night the aborted baby came in, three premature babies from a nearby hospital were being taken care of. Two of the three were in danger of dying, and doctors struggled to save their lives. While the doctors were engaged in the struggle to help these two wanted babies, the aborted baby was brought in:

The nurse from Labor and Delivery walked into our unit carrying a blanket and stating “This is a prostaglandin abortion. He has a heartbeat so we brought him over.” The baby was placed under a radiant warmer and I was told the rest of the facts. The gestational age of the baby was given to be 23 weeks by ultrasound. The mother had cancer and had received chemotherapy treatments before discovering that she was pregnant. The parents had been told that their baby would be horribly deformed because of the chemotherapy.

I looked at the baby boy lying before me, and saw that from all appearances he was perfect. He had a good strong heartbeat. I could tell this without using a stethoscope because I could see his chest moving in sync with his heart rate. With a stethoscope I heard a heart pumping strongly. I look at his size and his skin — he definitely looked more mature than 23 weeks.
He was weighed and I discovered that he was 900 grams, almost two pounds. This was almost twice the weight of some babies we have been able to save. A doctor was summoned. When she arrived the baby started moving his tiny arms and legs flailing. He started trying to gasp, but was unable to get air into his lungs. His whole body shuddered with his efforts to breathe. We were joined by a neonatalist and I pleaded with both doctors saying, “The baby is viable — look at his size, look at his skin — he looks much older than 23 weeks.”
It was a horrible moment as each of us wrestled with our own ethical standards. I argued that we should make an attempt to resuscitate him, to get him breathing. The resident doctor told me, “This is an abortion. We have no right to interfere.” The specialist, who had the responsibility for the decision, was wringing his hands and quietly saying, “This is so hard. Oh, God, it’s so hard when it’s this close.” In the end, I lost. We were not going to try to resuscitate this baby. So, I did the only thing I could do. Dipping my index finger into sterile water and placing it on his head, I baptized the child. Then I wrapped him in blankets to keep him warm, and held him. These were the only measures I could take comfort the baby under the circumstances, no matter how much I wanted to do more. I held this little boy, who was still gasping for breath, trying to stay alive on his own.

As the tears flowed down my face, I pray to God that he would take this child into his care, and that he would forgive me for my own part in his death. After a while, he stopped gasping. His heart continued to be, but the beating became slower and weaker until it finally stopped. He was gone.
Ironically, all the while the nurse was holding the dying aborted child, doctors were struggling to save the life of another premature (but wanted) child in the very same room, less than 5 feet away. Sadly, this baby died as well – but she was given every possible medical treatment, while the aborted baby was completely ignored.

Another nurse, Joan S. Smith, told the following story:

It was a night I’ll never forget. It was 11 pm and my colleague Karen and I “scrubbed in” at the beginning of our shift in the Special Care Nursery of a large teaching hospital….Without warning, a harried nurse rushed into the doorway.
Her white uniform seemed out of place in the area of the hospital where only surgical scrubs are worn.
“Here, take this,” she said, thrusting into my hands a small silver specimen pan covered with a paper towel.
“What is it?” I asked, realizing by the look on her face that something was very wrong.
“It’s an abortion at 22 weeks gestation, delivered on our floor. But it’s alive,” she explained, then turned on her heel and was gone. I removed the paper towel to see the perfectly formed body of a baby boy curled up in the cold metal pan….Karen came over to help. “This happens every so often,” she explained sadly. She had trained at the hospital and worked there for over 15 years.
[After a doctor Joan called simply told her to do nothing but fill in the time of death for the baby] Stoking his tiny arm, I tried to sort out my jumble of emotions. I felt powerless, angry, and overwhelmed by sadness. How could our medical system be so full of ironies? Here I was surrounded by medical technology, which was of no avail to this tiny child. I wondered if the parents even were told that their son had been admitted to the hospital as a live birth with footprints taken, and identification number and band given, a physician notified of his birth- yet all of this merely an unpredicted complication of a routine abortion.

It took nearly four hours until that tiny heart slowed to a stop. With tears in my eyes, I wrapped his body for the morgue. This was all of a life this child would ever know. He would never know the warmth of a mother’s embrace. No one would ever celebrate his birth. He would never even be given a name.
It is not unheard of for a baby born at 22-23 weeks to survive with medical treatment. Little Amillia Taylor was born at just 21 weeks and six days and weighed less than 10 ounces. She survived and is a healthy toddler today. Amillia’s mother actually had to lie to get the doctors to treat her baby – they had a policy of not treating children born before 23 weeks.

A German baby born at 21 weeks and five days also survived. Her story can be found here. The article also cites the example of a Canadian baby who was born before 22 weeks and survived.

Cases of late-term abortions blur the line between abortion and infanticide. Clearly, when a baby can survive on its own, even for short while, it becomes obvious that abortion is the killing of a human being.

In reality, life is a continuum from conception to natural death – although babies aborted at later stages of development are more fully developed, abortion is murder from the very beginning. But stories of babies born alive and then denied medical care are heart-wrenching and a terrible indictment of our society, which permits such atrocities.

Celebrities / Bally "Scores" Bisola After Confessing Love For Her And Showering Together by theinfong(m): 4:55am On Mar 19, 2017
Has Bisola finally found "the one", the "numero uno", her "missing rib"? Lol! I guess, that's going too far, considering this is just a game right? But who knows! Anything is possible. After all, Nigeria's housemate in 2009's Big Brother Africa and eventual winner of the show, Kevin Chuwang Pam found not only fame and fortune but also, a wife in Tanzanian co-housemate, Elizabeth! So, you see, anything is possible and just maybe, Bisola and Bally might be the "real deal".

So, last night, after the party and the DJ Kontrol was out of the house, and of course, some housemates tipsy, Bally found solace in Bisola, talking matters of the heart. Though drunk, one can tell he really meant all the words he said. He made in known to Bisola that he had been jealous about she and TTT's closeness, how she has for a while neglected him and didn't care about how he felt.

A lot of things were said during their long "kissing and talking" conversation but what viewers might ffind even more interesting is what Bisola revealed about TTT and TBoss. Many of us never knew this....

In the video, you'd see that after they left the sitting room, they went straight to the room, did a few "romantically-inclined" stuffs, then Bisola suggested they both go and shower together. Hmmmm. Bisola, Bisola! While all of this was happening, TTT was in bed and distraught. The married TTT feeling jealous?

Oh well, it turns out that, it paid off. Yes, for the first time in Big Brother history, a clap/applause was given to housemates and indeed, the three deserved it!

Bisola with her lovely voice, Debie with her guitar prowees and of course, macho Bassey with his expertise at drumming..

Celebrities / See What Really Caused The Fight Between Bisola And Tboss Today by theinfong(m): 4:58pm On Mar 14, 2017
I really don't know TBoss' game plan in the house but one thing is certain, she is building a whole lot of "hate-fans". First was from Balley, then Kemen, then Efe and now Bisola. Wow! If she survives Sunday's eviction, then she might eventually become the winner of the star prize. One begins to wonder if this "fight is as a result of marking their territory", I mean, is Bisola angry with TBoss over TTT's closeness towards her?

Anyway, One thing is definitely certain tonight, she will have an emotional "diary-session" with Biggie, making the world feel she has been hurt and of course, is being picked on by other housemates, thereby, possibly buying votes from some those who are emotionally in-tune with her.

Hours back, Bisola was in the kitchen, making meal for housemates, "toast" to be precise, then came TBoss, "asking plenty questions", a "not-so" in the mood Bisola, directly told her off, saying if she doesn't like the way she is cooking her food, she shouldn't eat. Then and there, the shouts began, TBoss started raising her voice and Bisola wouldn't have it, she responded.

You can see Marvis laughing in the background, obviously in support of Bisola..

It seems like TBoss really doesn't care about making enemies in the house though, as she approaches everyone in a fierce like manner regardless of your previous relationship or rapport with her. Anyway, she is the example of the "STRONG AFRICAN WOMAN". I can bet, all feminist will be loving this lady! Why? Because, she is a boss-lady and that's for sure.

Celebrities / "I Was A Lesbian And My Husband Knows About It" - Ghanaian Actress Confesses by theinfong(m): 7:30am On Mar 14, 2017
In fear of being blackmailed, Ghanaian actress and show host, Cecilia Konamah has come out to confess that she was once a lesbian adding that her husband is aware. Speaking in an interview with Hello FMs, the actress who, according to her, stopped the lesbianism practice three years ago, said:

'My husband is aware of that. Yes, he knows that I was a lesbian and he is very comfortable with me in our marriage. He also said even if I had once stood on the streets as a hawker, he likes me as I am,' she said.

She also stated that any attempt from her friends to bring up her past won't work as her husband is already aware.

'I was introduced into the act by some friends. If somebody thinks she wants to bring it out just to break my marriage, then let me tell the person that my husband is aware,' she added.

Celebrities / BBNaija: What Marvis Did To Debie Rise Is So Cruel! by theinfong(m): 3:30am On Mar 14, 2017
Oh my! this is truly cruel. Last night was the dreaded "nomination for possible eviction night" and of course, all housemates participated in it but one housemate, other than the head of house, had a special card, the power to automatically add a housemate to the chopping board. And that housemate was Marvis, Efe's crush in the house.

After Biggie had called the housemates for possible eviction come Sunday, he called on Marvis to add one more housemate, and her response was so quick . Yes! without thinking twice, she put in Debie Rise, who is rumoured to be signed by Don Jazzy when evicted. Was this act to spite Bassey for replacing Balley with Efe or was it done because she didn't have another option?

Watch the video below and tell us if what she did was cruel or not..

Celebrities / Mavin Records Boss, Don Jazzy To Sack Brother, D’prince And Dr Sid From Label by theinfong(m): 9:26am On Mar 13, 2017
An inside source close to a label mate, have come out with a rather shocking revelation which will most likely come to light before the month of March comes to an end. The source claims that, Dr Sid and D’Prince might be axed sooner than later from the label. For D’Prince sack, it comes as a result of the fact that he has become too lazy, not releasing good singles and also knowing fully well that he is the younger brother to Mavin boss, he has become too bossy to other label mates, especially the younger lads.

This attitude of D’Prince is causing altercations and issues in Mavin camp and other senior mates have asked that the don wade into the issue. As for Dr. Sid, not much can be really said but the source suggests that, it might come as a mutual termination as Dr Sid, wants to float his own outfit, just like D’Banj did years ago. It will be recalled that, Dr. Sid recently released We Up music video, and from all indications and how badly it is doing on YouTube, there wasn’t much push nor promotion for his work.

Is this a confirmation? Moreso, it is noteworthy to have in mind that Don Jazzy recently acquired the services of 4 brilliant young artistes and a 5th might be in the works with the signing of Debie Rise which is allegedly being in place as we speak. Maybe this move is to overhaul, shake and rebrand the Mavin Record outfit. More details coming soon.
