Owliver: looool. you mean a dollar per litre? look the 87 we pay is fkurking cheap. just that the naira is so devalued 87 naira looks like a big deal. if subsidy is remove totally expect to buy oil at above 130 naira. damn thats gonna kill people. An american can pay 1$ per litre but a Nigerian cant pay same amount of 1#(220naira) hence the subsidy. having a working refinery is better That is why I stated that subsidy is around 1 dollar or less. And we have paid higher than 130 in the past and from the look of things, product will only be available in the black market, come December unl3ss something urgent is done. Virtually all depot owners are indebted to banks and therefore can't access loans from them all because of subsidy that takes ages to pay. Let the repairs go side by side with the removal.... We pay subsidy on daily dubious figure of 40m litres. Remove subsidy and watch that figure drop drastically. Most of the products that goes up north ends up in neighbouring countries after even PEF per truck running into half a million naira has been filed for and claimed... This is outside the subsidy that are paid to the importers |

tuniski: before any significant reduction, subsidy must have been eliminated by performance not transfer to the citizens then, a sustained performance will result Into price reduction of note! Your head is there jor! This is the best season to totally remove subsidy... The international price is significantly low and what we pay as subsidy is somewhere around a dollar |

chronique: Smh. And the gullible ones were busy shouting sai baba on that thread last night. I read several comments on that thread last night, and was upset with the level of foolishness Nigerians exhibit. A country that is struggling to earn revenues from her major source of income, suddenly reduces pump price of petroleum and by so doing, increases its amount being spent on subsidy;how's that possible? Where will the money come from? Most Nigerians don't even think with their brains when they read news items. They just swallow it hook, line and sinker. Tomorrow, these set of people will tell you that they are educated but they find it hard to think properly. I was just too upset to comment on that thread cos I knew a thread like this will surface today. I did not bother when I saw the post because I had made my views on a similar where somebody claimed the product was selling at 74 in Osuna and that marketers had asked their members to embark on strike Th3 official price at the depot remains 77.66 excluding other cost |

Burger01: Walahi, those wailers are evil, wicked and with heads full of sands. Government is planning a downward review of pump price, some useless marketers are protesting against that, still the wailers won't commend the government neither heep blames on the marketers. I'm sure most wailers would be the first to buy petrol @ N60/ltr. They complain and still they enjoy the goodies of the government. Just why and how are we stucked with this evil wailing opposition They are supposed to make profit, either way.... The price issue doesn't add up.. Is Osun the only state where the price adjustment is going to be operational DPR won't allow stations sell above up and with each passing day depots are getting dried up making products unavailable. If you buy from third parties you can't sell above 87 to make profit so you just close shop and wait until products are made available in those depots closet to your area of operation. If nothing changes, positively, in the weeks ahead the scarcity will become widespread. |

Darray: I have seen a Total Filling Station selling at #55/Litre. Better days ahead. The draft value of the product is 77.66. Unless it is from vandalised pipeline or the owners is set to contest an election |
Politics › Re: Fuel Scarcity in Osun State - Photo by Themandator: 9:58am On Oct 11, 2015 |
It has nothing to do with downward review of price but the fact that the cost of the product 77.66 plus other cost including transportation from distant Depots makes the selling price unprofitable. |

kunzaar83: From the tinibu to all of you people behind him, you are all fools, just imagine 1 idiot saying tinibu single handedly formed apc ok continue deceiving Ūя̲̅ selves PMBn no be mumu as una dey expect... So u think after putting a vp he'll have any other chance again? Let me tell u point blank the number of votes that came from South west are irrelevant to the success of PMB, 2ndly 80% of the votes came from the North and all these votes were for Buhari himself not any useless APC, so I want to assure you PMB would have won his election with or without apc as a party even if it were CPC he would have won with land slide victory.. And another of his foolishness is that he's trying to fall back to Saraki... I dey laf, I dey laf, I dey laff There is a constitutional requirement beyond the total votes cast to meet ... There is 25% of vote cast in as many as 21 or more states of the federation to satisfy |

Less than a month, buhari conniving with atiku took the Nass leadership, away from him...i won't continue |

nabiz: In politics u have two enemies. (1)Those that help u to get the power: since u can not satisfy their numerous demand, as satisfying them will discredit ur government, this people become ur no1 enemy, e.g Tinubu. To handle this type of people, media is ur tool, u must remove there teeth or they will bite u. Removing there teeth means blocking there source of income to make them poor.
(2) Those people that u offended to gain power, e.g, opposition parties. These is another political enemy, to handle these set of people, just give me a call as u have nothing to fear. It is a game Give you a call for paraphrasing 'the Prince' |

joseph1832: Aren't we saying the same thing. The constitution said every state must be duly represented, Mr. President said he want just 36 ministers, someone said Mr. President should nominated at least two from a state. So? The constitution states that each state must be represented but his does not limit Mr. President to appointing just one person from a state unless he just doesn't need a crowded cabinet |
