While in East, I was told Imolites are the most Educated Easterners that Anambranians are tout but Anambranians have Shown they have beauty and brain.

Whatever they are doing right needs proper studying so it can be replicated especially in my state and the whole federation but I don't think the core North is ready though.
They (we) have an inquisitive mind and naturally gifted in the /translation of their (our) thoughts, that is, interpretations into the white man's language.

Rubbish!!! The Nigerian Government is full of frauds and ✒ robbers!!

They don't do anything, and even if they try to do something in order to gain another thing; they end up bringing up mediocre projects and stūpid wack constructions!!!

This Willie is not doing anything at all!! Take that from me. I live in Onitsha, and I can boldly tell you that the state is in ruins!

Dirty drainages floating everywhere into markets and neighborhoods, dirty market areas(Ochanja and the rest) . . . the roads are messed up!! Especially the one in Ochanja. That road is as dirty as damn!! Just a little rain that fell the other day swept garbages from the Niger into the market road and environment. The city is really messed up!!

Even the fly overs he built are mediocre!! Nothing at all is perfect or world class!!! With the roofs leaking and beggars perching around the environs justifying his mediocrity.

Anambra is fūcked up!!!!
His Twitter handle is @WillieMObiano... Has he commissioned any of the flyovers?

Nice one and commendable but why inscribe "Willie is Working" on everything from tools to work wear? When new Govt come on board they have to clean anything willie and write their own. Is that not wasting of resources. Why not write "Anambra is Working" at least that will blend with any government/person in the helm of affairs.
8 years and those tools wont be intbthe inventory ....just let them do the job. Whoever comes should inscribed his or her name on whatever he will be doing

Abagworo:
Wrong assertion. Rochas Okorocha is good but incurred the wrath of Imo gidfathers by engaging on masses oriented governance. 99% of the news being peddled against him are outright lies and there was serious propaganda war waged against him by PDP and APGA since 2013 with the aim of removing him for working against Jonathan. He won the last election by a very wide margin capturing all LGAs but 3 Mbaise and Ngor Okpala.

If anyone is in doubt I can list his true achievements which include ending the career of former PDP heavy weights.
So the protest is engineered by APGA and PDP and not because they have not been paid?

Okorocha is not suited for leadership and I stated this when he got elected the first time... He is better off under somebody's supervision.

But the good thing is, Baba can't be distracted. Benefits of his foreign trips will start trickling in and wailers will be put to shame.

That is largely Because he is not dubious.... He could have commissioned uncompleted and renovated structures, as it is done in some states... I remember somebody brought a former military leader to commission projects that were less than 70 percent completed

I must really commend Obiano for his focus. Even though he miscalculate some times and has his flaws.
I can really say the man is very much doing his best. Love the way Awka new outlook is gradually taking shape.
My advice is that as he is working,he shouldn't forget other LGAs. I said this because I noticed much attention are being concentrated around Awka,Onitsha and Aguleri axis.
For now,he has my thumb-up.
Anambra gadi...
Shalom.
From the start, he commissioned a master plan for the state and made it clear it was going to be superimposed on the existing realities... I think that is what he is doing... I just pray the tempo is maintained... This is just 18 months of his rein

Because he has not embarked on flower planting or quick wins.... Those projects on display couldn't have materialized within months... He is 18 months in the saddle l and we have seen his direction and are sure that they will be completed.... Some are already nearing completion

Doing a bridge or fly-over does not make anyone the best governor or president amongst the rest.

All these developmental projects is your entitlement as a bonafide citizen of a state or a country.

If you doubt me, ask your self this question: What's the purpose of this person being a governor or president?

Good luck as you make yourself available to read more about Good governance in developed countries like: Malaysia or Ghana not to talk of Dubai that use fishing money to start up a place people go for shopping.
You will be amongst the first to deride indigenes of the state if shanty towns were put on display... Celebrate the man and ask yourself this question : How is he finding the money for all this and looking clean when his peers are struggling with salary and the one in Kaduna wondered aloud how his peers could look so clean and fat with the challenge of governance thrust on them?

Obiano is trying but I was in Awka recently and extremely disappointed. It will take 50 years for Awka to become a real city at this pace.
Take 50 years in a state that is populated by rich folks that are in a hurry to impress. Let the government part of the awka master be in place, like the flyover being constructed and that mall and see how development is concentrated by Anambrians around them.... That mall will lead to craze for lands around it for more shopping malls and others.

Anambra has children with loads of cash that is why anywhere or area their government shows leadership they buy in

AnamCity:
I least agreed with your list. Firstly Onitsha is not a state capital but presently it very clean with the pumping of infrastructural development in the city it is been repositioned. With the instroduction of road sweepers and gardeners the city is focused for the 21st century. Awka on the other side is a city to watch, haven concluded the city planning with focus on Dubai and Kigali models it is set to upturn other cities in the country to stamp it's feet among Nigeria's frontline cities. The ongoing skyline flyovers and other ambitious projects will no doubt place it side by side with other newest Nigerian cities of Abuja and Uyo. Awka has some of best hotels and beautiful girls too, most of Onitsha and Nnewi guys unwind there every weekend and festive seasons. Besides that Awka has some of the best housing estates well laid out.

I again seek to disgree with you on Enugu, it is really over-hyped. Most of those roads some of you flaunt about are bad at the moment and does not reflect the reality on the ground presently. Enugu is a town of over 100years but what we keep hearing is the same story of how few existing roads in the urban centers were resurfaced and all of a sudden it became your whatever. I do not want us Igbos to wash our dirts here further but you don't throw stone in the market as you like. One would expect that Enugu would by now rival PH, Kano even Calabar which are its comtemporaries but alas there is nothing of such but usual unnecessay hype that does not reflect reality. What about the rural parts of Enugu State? You cannot claim to be developed when at 92% of the entire state is still largely undeveloped without even an access road nor health center to start with. We all know this reality about Enugu state but we kept under wraps for brotherhood sake.

I made reference to Asaba, Uyo, Umuahia and even Owerri because I know what I have seen in those areas particularly Asaba and Uyo. Forget about the usual Nigerian stats that does not reflect reality.

I disgree with most of your point totally

This is the first of it's kind at least in the Eastern region. You know a city with focus in 21st century when you see one.
Calabar is actually an over hyped town.... It has just two major roads: Marian and Highway and both can't be referred to as standard dual carriage ways as they were existing roads that was widened and demarcation during the Duke era.... This is obvious when you are around the stadium area where the median is no more than the width of a block.

This arms scandal is netting some medium sized fishes so far...Dokpesi, Bafarawa, Dasuki.

We are waiting patiently for the BIG FISHES like the ex-Service Chiefs, Obanikoro's and Ebele Jonathan's role in the scam.

Already GEJ and Dasuki are contradicting themselves on whether approval was given for the $2.1B or not.

No wonder the man insisted he wanted a public trial instead of going down alone. E don set.
Service Chiefs are answerable to the NSA.. He controls their budget, so big fish don finish unless demanding wan finger Mr Jonathan
