Semi-educated illiteracy is a serious problem in Nigeria and this Oche Joseph has reminded us again the danger that people with that background - with, ability to write even if bad english but no capacity to understand and reason - can pose to Nigeria. People of his class who are mostly fans of a one time PhD holder president who lacked capacity to comprehend things a third grader will follow through with ease sees mothing good in what others not in their moronic class do or say.
You contribution is only longish; it has no meaning and unhelpful, as a defense to Shehu's dictation of the assets of Mr. President

I wonder why it took PMB 4 months to declare his assetshuh I see the asset declaration coming up now as a ploy to pacify nigerians as regards their numerous gaffe in recent time...

Why did PMB decide to declare his assets during this period of campaign promise denialhuh Or will the asset declaration serve as the dreaded 100 days achievementhuh since what nigerians got was the denial of the "My covenant with nigeria paper"....

Declaring his assest now is an attempt to save face with nigerians...IMO
Buhari declared his assets before he was sworn in. What he has not done even this moment is a public declaration or causing what has been filed with cdb to be made public. Shehu just read out what he felt the organs for the party #ontheloose can attempt to defend.

The hospital he commissioned is actually a world class when juxtaposed against other such facilities in third world countries.

Just understand that their is more to our big men going out the shores for anything that involves there being powerless to decide what happens and the long hours of drug induced sleep that might follow

Evil people everywhere. If you're murdered while seeking medical attention here the most that would happen is a committee to look into the cause that would make recommendations that another committee would produce a white paper on... And while this is going on another group will be wondering aloud why all the waste of resources. He Don die be say he Don die... God gives God takes.

Another thing, if he sleeps in AkwaIbom hospital it will become the focus of all the politics of the state... I am wont to believe the governor will relocate their until his principal gets cleared.

Nigeria is a different ballgame when it comes to public figures and their security

Not forgetting that these are the same peeps that ruled for 8yrs without any positive outcome and you Still want them there? Are you trying to say we should keep recycling them because they helped him to win the elections? Ain't you tired of seeing appointments given out as compensation rather than a call to service? Pls, let us know what we actually want...
I was only replying the man who was trying to console himself that bigger offices still exist outside for the already taken ones.

Just so he understands that what is left are consolation prizes.

I dislike being hinged into unnecessary argy-bargies with shallow observers who will not study before running their mouths.

Please, go and study the functions of the SGF. When you are done, come and educate your fellow ignoramuses.
You waste both words and grammar... You imagine yourself a working manual on governance but you know very little... Every minister receives their brief whether for council meeting or directive from that office.

Every agenda to be brought to council for deliberation gets cleared by that office...i have lived with an SSG and I'm telling you to set aside textbook or Google knowledge of what it is.

There is never want of ministers around the SGF, lobbying for one thing or the other...explaining in details the benefits of their programs.

Your only problem is that your ego far outweighs your IQ. Forget the idiocy you lived with in the past 6 years and tell me what the role of the SGF is? You are no doubt among the ilk of noisemaking ignoramuses that think the role of SGF includes making appointments such as Pius Anyim did unfettered in the previous govt. Well this new govt knows exactly what the role of the SGF entails and sorry to burst your obtuse bubbles, but the SGF is nothing more than the president's secretary.
Stop advertising this ignorance.. The SGF is different from the principal secretary to the president .. He is the secretary to the government of the federation not the president.

Your local town union secretary, is he equally the Secretary to your chairman or your company secretary doubles as the Secretary to the chairman and chief executive.

You don't know the awesome powers of the Secretary to even a state government not to talk about the federation.

That secretary will be in a meeting that even the vice president can be excused... Next time former heads of state assembles in Abuja for for their national council on state meeting see who will be absent

Next time there's a federal executive council meeting, note his sitting position vice versa that if the vice president and the other council members.

What's the role of the SGF really? Is Dr Ogbonnaya Onu not far bigger than that role? Are we not being hoodwinked into a senseless war of words concerning a post whose functions are nothing beyond being called a "glorified houseboy"? Or are we following the trend of the last failure in govt who appointed a former Senate President to take the role of someone who should have been a former civil servant?

Some of the things people discuss on NL really boggle the mind. Pius Anyim was deceived into accepting a foolish role as the SGF and he in turn deceived his paymaster by wrongly interpreting his role. The SGFs role includes taking minutes, organising memorandums of FEC meetings, organising Federal parastatals and agencies, organising the president's schedule etc. All very secretarial in nature.

Dr. OGBONNAYA ONU will have a big position in PMBs govt and I am glad that being the SGF is not part of it.
You need to be saved from your self..... Stop waving your ignorance like a flag.

What you refer to as "glorified house boy" is more important to government and governance than the office of the vice president

Very soon you and other wailers will be put to shame and disappointed cos something bigger awaits ONU, FASHOLA, AMEACHI and others. PMB can't be that calloushuh
Any office outside that of sgf and advisers is not good enough for the sacrifice and contributions of the people you listed and the way to stands, the sensitive and A grade ones has all been taken.

Whatever is left is secondary.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Then, the FG shouldn't have entered into it given the audit of 2012 especially.
The deal itself is not bad but the implementation just LIKE SAP of the Gen. Babangida regime.

Even NEITI is about to be audited, discrepancies will be observed, as with all human organisations

Besides, the same deal is still continuing which tells you that it is in itself not poisonous to the finances of our country

Despite that there were audits between 2009 and 2012 to make FG cancel this useless agreement, Jona Dunno still could not find the political will to terminate this nonsense.

You have not noticed this discrepancies in the date of the NEITI report and that of this article?
Swap deal was approved January, this year, according to the report and was expected to last until Dec 2016

Igbo hater.

Igbo parents would out their wards in schools where discipline and moral go hand in hand with academic excellence.
.
Am sure Loyola Jesuit, CKC, etc that are run by Catholic church all have only igbos since only them can be deceived by men in cassock. Go check How many Muslims they have in these Catholic schools.

If u have problem about igbos being Catholics, ur cup of bitter tea. Suck it up!
Mr, you are not any more Igbo than me.... I'm from Anambra state.... I repeat this, an average Igbo man, no matter his intelligence is always swayed by men in cassock, rosary and scapular..... An average man will go to bed and sleep with both eyes closed if his wide is in the company of a Rev. Fr.

You cannot convince a Christian mother that the Rev Friday that gives her Holy Communion is actually after her daughter for amorous relationship... Never!

This very man whose son has been so brutalized will forget his law suit if he is to meet with Ede, tomorrow.... That is how firm the grip of the Catholic Church and everything linked to it is,on the Igbo psyche.... A member can go elsewhere for solutions to his or her problem but even though he or she saw something different there will still return to the Catholic Church.

I know this because I was once very active and very involved
