The same hype or lies brandy, the r and b singer, sold to the public about been married until the bubble burst and the public found out she was never married to her producer

Dbanj should quietly discharge Tonto from his label otherwise just like it happened to brandy this girl Tonto is going to make a mess of his reputation.

Grown in what sense?
- music wise,
I dont see dbanj achieving anything worthwhile on
merit compared to donjazy
- moneywise
We cant just say.
while dbanj is busy picking up label ambassador,
don j on d other hand has also picked up some ambassadorial nomination with mtn and some fmcg companies.

The fact is dat dbanj makes almost all of his achievements public, unlike donjazzy.

Though I expect the beats ambassadorial nomination to be a huge one, but dbanj is dead, musically.
There's no beat ambassadors anywhere. It is one of his hype.

He paid and got a very expensive beat earpiece and he got a tweet welcoming him to the exclusive list of those with the gadget.

When I was in unec I had Tony Nwoye, Sir emeka offor younger brother nnamdi, former ssg Martin iloh brother etc as a friendso and we have remairemained so... If I ask for anything more than that I am likely to be avoided unless it involves give and take business.

In essence, unless Dbanj has a business that interest those powerful people he remains noțhing but a name dropper

D'Banj

- Released a hit video for Oliver Twist..
- wrote and performed the AFCON anthem as the closing act of the tourney.
- Became the face of Beats headphones..
- Launched Koko garri.

Has not had any real hit songs since the AFCON hit track. Seems more into business than music now..

Don Jazzy..

- Signed Tiwa and made her the Poster Girl/lead act of Mavin records.
- Has still been dropping chart topping hits since dbanjs exit including songs like 'Eminado' and 'DoroBucci'.
- Has signed on some new acts to his new record label and most hold some promise.
- Still relevant on the Nigerian Music King and has moved fully out of the Mohits Era.

He still seems to be focused more on his top artists and ignoring others like he did in Mohits. [/b]
Dbanj neither wrote nor performed the theme song..... The title of the theme song remains..... Our passion powers Africa.

A good leader will safe for the rainy day and the reality of the times we are now calls for a serious thinking. We have a finance minister who told us that paying off huge billions will help us get on on our road to economic recovery and rejuvenation now same minister is saying it is okay to borrow $1bn to fund arms purchase and we are supposed to have a sovereign wealth fund, sure-p funding, excess crude account but we still want to go borrowing with an interest of N30bn on the loan.

Not many governors can boast of such prudency not even my loved and cherished fashola. I give it to gov. Rotimi amaechi on this one. Can the spendthrift gov. in the south of the niger who earns the largest allocation boasts of N10bn in a escrow account? When he can't even pay primary school teachers for some months as we read. Riverians will sure miss you.
You can't be wiser than the apc goons in both arms of the national assembly that approved of the loan, as you called it.

Really, there's no loan any where... We have only an agreement with Belarus to supply Nigeria arms with a cap off $1b... In other words, we can request of any military armament to the tune of abbillion dollars.

It is not a must that we must exhaust it. It is as need arises... And we are today back in 7years whatever we have ordered

Oh yes indeed, stealing is not corruption ~ GEJ, in my travel round the world - i see futuristic looking projects achieved for a fraction of the $1 billion that has just been allocated. Is it Airports, railways or motorways? Travel out to Europe and America then you will curse Nigerian/African leaders.
Do you know the cost component of importing every needed times including beams, irons for a road as massive as the ones been constructed in Nigeria and the riverine areas of it called Niger delta.
And the fact that if you need those equipment in record time it will cost more than placing orders for their manufacture.

Do they pay compensation to villagers, youth, and have security issues of having a battalion stationed in their construction camps.

Think domestically.... There are peculiarities

It will be great if you could take pictures of the ongoing excavation work, preparatory to the road construction itself, to share with us on NL as a thread on its own.
That would be superb. Something to look forward to.
Cheers.

It's not works minister. East-West road is under Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
I advise him to exercise patience and not be selfish by demanding a halt of the Uyo-Oron-Odukpani-Calabar section.
The contractor will get there soon. That road cuts across about six states and all the parts cannot covered at the same time.

May God bless Nigeria
May God bless GEJ
Yeah. It's the MNDA.... THE CALABAR END IS already a death trap with petrol tankers falling every now and then.

The depth of excavation i saw from Uniport main gate up till the choba bridge could barely swallow a standard bungalow.
Pity you, you actually missed the fun. Delta and Bayelsa...
Not to worry, just hang around this Odukpani end is going to defray that... Don't miss the action.

Dumpsters, those trucks with tyres as high as a building, gets buried, I mean swallowed as not to be seen unless very close to the excavation area, in some of the excavations while working
It's amazing seeing rivers and swamps been driven back through those excavation and sand filling... Agbarho river was very close to the former Road, it was sent packing

Yes. The Eleme section is where I'm interested in. I live at Rumuokwurushi. And I have folks who go to work at the Petrochemical Plant and Refinery.

Why is that section of the road in a state of disrepair and also a death trap?

And if the Eleme/Rumuokwurushi axis of the road is yet to be completed, why leapfrog and jump all the way to Odukpani/Oron/Calabar to kick off another phase of work?

I appreciate GEJ's effort on the E/W road project. But he should please make sure that a thorough job is done on that road. I have been writing about that road since I came on Nairaland in 2005. And for the part of the road that passed the front of my house to remain in a state of disrepair and not motorable is unfair o!
I feel your pain. If only the works minister is on Twitter....

Dey there dey chew d money thifians
The depth of excavation is in most part of the road enough to take in a storey building. This is then refilled and allowed to compact.
Just visit any section like the Bayelsa end and see the scope of work

Your Amaechi built the interchange(flyover/Roundabout) not the East-West Road passing under it.

Your Amaechi tapped from the East-West Road on that section to make his own road. That is how government projects should sync. That was the same thing Oshiomhole did in Benin at Ugbowo/Uniben when he constructed service lanes on both sides of the Benin-Lagos Highway.

There is nothing special about your Amaechi. Why did he not construct that interchange when the East-West Road was a footpath?

Be objective in your criticisms. Don't be blinded by bare hatred and convivial politricking, those won't take you anywhere, because in the long run, you would be the worse for it.
Amaechi is one of the worst leaders of this dispensation... I take my time to find out things for myself when I have the time.... For all the resources available to that man it is a pity that he presides over a state that is literally a barge site... Visit the oyigbo and you will weep...

Ask the ordinary people their opinion of him when you get into port Harcourt

That section is obiri Ikwerre interchange built by AMAECHI 100%, continue deceiving people.

Obiri Ikwerre is about 15 minutes drive from Uniport not in front of Uniport

If the road is complete, why spend $1bn on just a section.

There has been no light at UNIPORT for more than 4 months now, other areas affected are Rumokoro down to Uniport, Rumokoro down to Rumokwuta and through Mgbuoba down to Uniport including most parts if not all of Rumuigbo.

Tell that to your Master.
You don't know the road beyond the part in front of your school or wherever..... Travel to Uyo or Warri. The go through the Bush path called odukpani that they just awarded.
God bless Jonathan

post pictures of section 1-4
I don't have pictures of the road but I have made use of it as recent as last year week... Delta end is virtually complete if you take the work going on in the median, as part of it. The same can be said of the Akwa Ibom section of the road safe for a bridge linking it to Rivers state.

The work is largely in the president home state where the road lies practically in waters that need to be either driven back or call have culverts and bridges running through.
The areas sand filled and compacted were being tarred on the day I plied it.

Eleme is where it has issues in Rivers state

I am into marketing not supplies. I know what you're talking about buy have never been involved in it.

You can't supply adulterated products aka lacasera to a station owner. He does that himself.

BTW I had no business..... Was looking for job as a graduate, going from one prophetic church to another in different states, before an old lady invited me to the church.

Any sensible person would know when the water shed in his life arrived and I am sensible. I know what I'm talking about.

I have invited jobless friends and like I was told when I joined, gave them three months as the longest they had to be members before counting their gains and it happened.

Winners knows the scriptural demand of success better than any church you can think of and they make it their duty to hammer it into their members

Bros, your name fits you, I really don't know what is wrong with us in this country ooo, if someone is penalised for doing something wrong, how is it hating. If a lecturer fails a student or disqualifies him/her in an exam because he/she was copying or was involved in exam malpractice, who is to blame lecturer or student

Instead of us crying foul, we should learn from her mistakes, here are a couple of mistakes she made in her blog

1. She failed to register it has a business which would have treated the blog as an entity

2. She should have bought lindaikeji.com domain name since she started having traffic, in fact not just lindaikeji.com but also the .net,.biz
So even if google removed her blog, the domain name could still redirect her viewers to a new blog she could set up from wordpress

3. You can call this hating, but I think writing and uploading things u acquire like cars or houses on ur business isn't professional (shows she didn't see lindaikeji..com beyond a hobby), think about any serious internet millionaire who makes a living from a website like Mark Zuckerberg of FB or even our own beloved Seun of Nairaland, u don't see them putting up their cars or homes on Front page of their site.

4. And finally she should have been more professional and original with her writtings

Oya you can all lambast me and call me a hater ..
Firstly, the aye guy that has been stalking her registered every permutations of her blog name before coming into the ring..... Squatting

He hopes she will come to him to acquire one of those domain names.... Which is not going to happen, as I see it.

2ndly, As for plagiarism, she has explained it :she gives credit where the original source is known and I can testify to that.

Lastly, I This is only an opportunity to grow bigger... .. Google is going to find her worth to , whatever it is worth, sooner than later..... She is the biggest blogger in Africa

I wounder if these pastors ever came across this part of the bible and refused to take this word of advice. This is a demonstrates that they do not for a second believe in what they preach.
It would be wickedness for God to be so rich and have his servants beg and cajoled flocks to eat. I'm proud of Bishop Oyedepo

“May I say here that God owned the silver and the gold and he is the most holy God. If wealth and righteousness are not the best of friends there is no way God will be the wealthiest of all. From his fullness we all received we are also told that Jesus died so that through his poverty we will be made rich and I think there is no father who wishes his children poverty. If God is truly a father he will not wish his children poor and the wealth of every parent is reflective in their children”
“My understanding of opposition and persecution is someone’s opinion harshly expressed. Everybody has his rights to his opinion. I don’t feel it is necessary the energy.”
