In all sincerity, what does a pastor need a private jet for?

I don't think Charlie Boy is making a connection between pastors and our lack of a national airliner, rather he's saying most of these pastors are just as corrupt as these politicians we heavily criticize..

Go to very advanced countries. The men of God there don't enjoy 1/10th of what some of these GOs enjoy here, talkless of Private Jet. So isn't it stupid, that Nigeria, one of the poorest countries from a continent that contributes just merely over 2% of the total global GDP, that such a country has men of God who have private jets while the country doesn't have a national Carrier. Surely something is amiss.
Do you know how many branches of winners chapel that is the USA and Canada alone? Those men of God in those your so called advanced counties don't have ministes outside their countries so don't need a jet.

Winners is present in over sixty countries of the world and the founder ministers in not less than 12 counties monthly. ..I stated countries not churches

Part of the tradition I am talking about is the Holy Eucharist...is in the bible but 95% of churches denied the presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Again, Paul wrote like I said earlier in 2 Thes 2:15 and 2Tim 2:2 to ensure to hand over some of the traditions to credible men. The bible is like a two edge sword...do not read a section to conclude. Jesus addressing his disciple says there are other folds which He must bring back to a single fold with one Shepherd which is Himself. So we should stop belaboring ourselves with churches but strive to live a good life and avoid condemning so we will not be condemned.
The communion of Jesus is not a tradition but a commandment ... Jesus said to do it always in remebrance ... Every so called tradition is a by law of the constitution called the scripture. They don't exist outside of the support of the Bible ... If they do exist or purport to exist without the backing of the scripture they are to be considered satanic and rejected

tradition in winners is feet washing as done by Jesus Christ to the apostles. Another is blood sprinkling as commanded by God in the old statement that if should be with every generation till the end of the world

Virtually every church and Christians have images of Jesus. You will find it in churches, cars, homework, officea et al. It's boldly written in the Bible that it shouldn't be done but christians ignored it and continue to do it yet they believe they are the righful and only owner of Heaven. Ok
That is not true .. I have not seen any in winners and I don't have any in my house and the reason is because there is no better image of Jesus than myself ...I am changed from glory to glory into his perfect image

You are not a fraud because you believe in tithing. You are a fraud because you twist the scriptures to justify your beliefs. You are wrongly dividing the word of truth.

How does money get into HIS OWN POCKET? Enough to buy a private jet. I don't even have an issue against the jet. But what is the source of the jet since all the money goes into the ministry.
The church bought the jet... I mean the world mission agency ... The first one was acquired after it was announced during service some years back that the amount going into air tickets and delays at the airport needed to be sensibly managed .... Just that day, men and women gave money and the aircraft was bought cash and delivered same month. Since then it has been replaced a number of times

Currently, the mission owns two, one for papa Oyedepo and the other for papa Abioye. Both are justified .... The man that presided over the services of yesterday has left the country by now .... That is how his schedule is ..

Some might wonder why I post so much about pastors and the church. It is certainly not because I idolise any man whatsoever. Oyedepo, Adeboye and the rest are just Generals in God's Army so unbelievers persecuting them is not an issue.
However we are not oblivious of the strategy of the kingdom of Hell which is to Take aim at the Set men and scuttle the congregation, with congregations scuttled many would relegate out of faith. This is particularly the reason why I no longer get involved in the Tithing debate. The majority of those who are Anti Tithing are not lovers of the Church. You would usually see them say things like "Churches are too much, we need Industries" but a True lover of the Church must first see himself as a Christian and every other thing like Tribe and Nationality comes second hence my church validates your country and not the other way.

I'm using this medium to admonish True lovers of the Church not to fall for the same trap Eve fell for. Do not engage in a conversation where you are unaware of the underlying Motivations of the individual you are debating with. Eve argued with the Devil concerning the things of God. He(devil) was technically right by twisting a concept in his assertion and it led to the fall of man.

In the midst of any noise in the Church, Heaven or Hell must gain. Ask yourself who gains by these noise on Tithing. The Enemy would make you think it is Heaven that would gain just like the Serpent deceived Eve by telling her all she would gain by eating the fruit.

Secondly, know the priorities of Christ and ask yourself if Jesus would be igniting a debate about Tithing in a world where Christians are loosing Faith, Divorce in Church is high and there is Sexual Immorality pervading some Churches.

Lastly, study your Christian faith(or religion) and understand how changes occur in d church. How did we get to correct some doctrinal errors in the church. Did we have to pull Methodist down for Hagin to emerge, did we have to pull Anglican down for Oyedepo to emerge or did we have to pull Apostolic faith down for Kumuyi to emerge. These men came out of these ministries and tried to correct some things yet the ministries they emerged from are spared onslaught. As Christ said "any house standing against itself cannot stand". Hagin did not condemn Methodist for kicking him out when he got big because he knew only the Devil benefits.
I believe Papa Hagin was originally a Baptist from his books that I have read ... Just yesterday I discovered I can have E copies of Papa Oyedepo's books , from dominion store website ....So happy

Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word .... Faith is not abstract. It must be based on what God said. The scripture is God's store of knowledge for a triumphant living ... The word is Jesus Christ according the book of John ... Believing Jesus means believing the word and nothing else..... God of Abraham is referring to the God, Jehovah, it has nothing to do with intercessory prayer of or from Abraham, himself ... Anybody saint not living here on the earth cannot pray or inferred for you or anyone. .... The story of the rich fool makes this very clear. ... There are many down there, if your family people can't listen to them then they are joining you in hell

If that Mary promised to be with every catholic then she must have replaced one of the members of the trinity to have that omnipresence for only the members of the trinity.... God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit has the omnipresence to be every where at the same time ... Not even spirit or the angels can be present in two places at the same time ...So is she going to be with anyone and everyone at the same time ...There is no where the Bible made allusion to Mary omnipresence.

As for her Immaculate heart leading you guys to God ..That is in contradiction to the scripture. There is only one access to the Almighty and he is Jesus Christ. I am the way the truth and the life NO ONE cometh to the father but by me .. so how is Mary now going to lead you to God when this was not contemplated by the scripture. For her to have an immaculate heart means the Bible wasn't correct when it stated that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ... May therefore , didn't sin and didn't have a share of the sin of disobedience of Adams which was essentially the reason for Christ coming ...To pay for it so we all can return and access God.

Sacrifice of ourselves is pure fallacy as the only sacrifice necessary and able to remit sin is the one done by Jesus Christ. There is no sacrifice from us that can pay for our sins because to be an acceptable sacrifice for the remission of sin you have to be spotless ..Let your sin ..You can be with sin and be paying for sin....That is the reason before Jesus paid the ultimate, the Jews used to do it by spotless lambs ... You already have a spot and therefore incapable of being a solution and we only sin against God and never Mary. You can't find sin against Mary in your Bible ... Only you have I sinned against ... The how to pray taught by our very Lord Jesus even made it clear ...Forgive us our sins.

Firstly, there is nothing like graces necessary for salvation. The grace for salvation is the grace for salvation..It is not graces and you can't find graces in the scripture ...The grace to accept and believe what Jesus Christ did on the cross ...No other graces is necessary for salvation but to accept the gift as it is offered ...No works can pay the price ... Nobody is insulting Mary who is having a swell time in heaven but the woman who parades the earth with a little boy by her side who when he speaks always ask that you listen to the woman is not the actual Mary that gave birth to jesus. He did an imposter ... The woman that is riding the beast in the book of Rev 17 and 18

She succeeds in imposing herself on the church of Rome and making statement that Mary the mother of Jesus Christ never made while on the earth .... Virtually every of her statement contradict the scripture. ..In one of her appearances , she stated that very one worships God in his own way! with peace in the heart ,.,that is the peace of the world .... Everyone can't worship the true God in their own way .... Otherwise, there is no difference between the God of the christians and the god of the Hindu temple.... Jesus Christ is the distinguishing factor in the God of the christians.... Where he is not mentioned and lavishly too is not a Christian gathering.

No amount of good will make anyone smell heaven. If good is enough then Jesus death is not necessary because so many are doing good with foundations and charity organisations. Doing good is a fruit or proof of your godliness as a Christian because God is good but good is not God. And for your comment on gates of hell I would have you consider history. The catholic church burnt christians at the stake for having the Bible and not for being pagans but just having the Bible ...It made the Bible a banned time that had to be smuggled like drugs of today ....A pope actually re wrote the bible before he was forcefully removed and a process of recalling his Bible was commenced by the catholic church. A copy of his version is still Ina museums till today. ... Read about Martin Luther, a fellow catholic

Still blabbering. Virgin Mary never died. She was assumed into heaven and the scriptures it was is in the Catholic Bible (deutracanomical books)
The same one protestants removed from theirs. Before you start, know that it was the Roman Catholics that compiled and arranged the present day Bible every Christian uses. So its either you stop quoting me or shutup.
It is claimed that only the Church can interpret the Bible because it was the Church which gave it to us. That is like saying that because Paul wrote his epistles we need him to interpret them.

Furthermore, the Church did not give us the Bible-certainly not the Old Testament, for there was no Church in those days. And if the Roman Catholic Church was not needed to give us the Old Testament, then clearly it was not needed to give us the New either. A favorite question of Catholic apologists is, "How do you know that Luke wrote the Gospel of Luke or that Matthew wrote the Gospel of Matthew?" They claim that Roman Catholic tradition contains this information.

Yet no tradition proves who wrote Hebrews, Job, Esther, or various Psalms. Nor does it matter. That the authors were inspired by the Holy Spirit is what counts. This inspiration bears witness within readers who are themselves indwelt by the same Holy Spirit who inspired the writing of Scripture.

Catholicism's claim that the New Testament comes from the Church by decision of the councils is false. No early council even ruled on what was canonical; yet in these councils, to support their arguments, both sides quoted the New Testament, which had obviously been accepted by general consensus without any conciliar definition of the canon.

The Synod of Antioch, in A.D. 266, denounced the doctrine of Paul of Samosata as "foreign to the ecclesiastical canon." The Council of Nicea in 325 refers to "the canon"; and the Council of Laodicea in 363 exhorted that "only the `canonized' books of both Old and New Testaments be read in the church." Yet none of those councils deemed it necessary to list the canonized books, indicating that they were already well-known and accepted by the common consent of Christians indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

Not until the Third Council of Carthage, in A.D. 397, do we have the first conciliar decision on the canon.18 That is rather late if without it Christians didn't know what books were in the New Testament and therefore couldn't use them, as Rome claims today! History proves that the books of the New Testament were known and accepted by Christians and in wide circulation and use at least 300 years before Carthage listed them.

Historian W.H.C. Frend writes: The Gospels and epistles were circulating in Asia, Syria, and Alexandria (less certainly in Rome), and being read and discussed in the Christian synagogues there by about 100. In Polycarp's short letter there is an astonishing amount of direct and indirect quotation from the New Testament: Matthew, Luke, and John, Acts, the letters to the Galatians, Thessalonians, Corinthians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Romans, the Pastorals, 1 Peter particularly, and 1 and 2 John are all used.... The Christian Scriptures were quoted so familiarly as to suggest that they had been in regular use a long time

No rabbinical body decided upon the canon of the Old Testament. That canon was recognized by Israel and available as it was being written. Daniel, a captive in Babylon, had a copy of Jeremiah written only a few years earlier and was studying it as Scripture (Daniel 9:2). We are certain that the entire Old Testament was well-known when Christ was here and undoubtedly long before, for every Israelite was required to meditate upon it day and night.

On November 1, 1950, Pope Pius XII made an allegedly infallible ex cathedra declaration in his Apostolic Constitution Munificentissimus Deus that "the immaculate Mother of God and ever Virgin Mary was at the end of her life assumed into heaven body and soul." In the Constitution the pope claimed that the dogma of the assumption had been unanimously believed in the Church from the very beginning and that it was fully supported by Scripture. In fact, the dogma was unknown to the early church and is unsupported by the scripture.

Is true and authentic. Some of them...1.Dedication of Russia to her Immaculate heart which eventually lead to collapse of Communist states 2. Wars if humans keep on offending God which came to pass
3. Three days darkness which is in the Bible...yet to come and a lot more.

The only thing holding God not to destroy his creation is the countless intercessory prayer for mercy from His Mother, The Saints, Priest, Religious, Pastors and other holy children of God.

Our primary mission on earth is to make heaven...all others are secondary. If you've discovered a way to make heaven, continue on that path but stop condemning!
I won't engage you on the issue of the collapse of the USSR.

Wars have been part and parcel of human history from biblical times ...humans are never going to stop offending God....That is impossible..... To have that scenario is to have perfect beings all over.

As for your intercessors, I have to state that there is no dead saint that is interceding on behalf of the earth. The only recorded mediator and intercessor not on this earth is Jesus Christ. I have not found anywhere the scripture gave clues that the dead can and are actively praying for the living or the earth .... Whosoever believeth is saved ....Only the living prays for the living to believe and be saved

On your 'our primary mission on earth' statement I would like to have a scriptural support for that if you can provide one .... As for me, I believe that we are here to reign as king and priest here on earth unto our God and to shew forth his praise. God created us for his pleasure.

You have not listed the official message from Fatima as recorded by the Catholic Church. Here they are:

the apparition at Fatima also declared: I will never leave you.

My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.

Sacrifice yourselves for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I promise to assist at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for salvation all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary and keep me company for a quarter of an hour while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary with the intention of making reparation to me.

When Jesus told his disciples, This is my body and this is my blood...do this in remembrance of me. From your line of argument and understand they are eating bread and high on alcohol abi?

Praying in front of a statue or holy pictures is not that we are worshiping it but a channel to concentrate and remain adequately focused. Moreover, is a form of sacramental or a blessed tool which when blessed by a priest must not be descecrated.

Even in the old testament God commanded Israelites not to kneel for an image...same old testament, He also commanded them to make images. For example, the bronzen serpent which is a reflection of Christ death on the cross.

There are a lot of mysteries in life, never condemn so you won't find yourself abashed to discover all you've condemned is true when our life here is over.

Do you understand how Christ, our Redeemer feels each time we profane His Mother who is the Mother of our Lord?

Free advice...stop condemning, it doesn't add one naira to your pocket or one day to your life.

Historian Walter James writes: The Papacy controlled the gateway to heaven which all the faithful, including their rulers, hoped earnestly to enter. Few in those days doubted the truth of this and it gave the Popes a moral authority which has never been wielded since.6

Only the "heretics" (true Christians) doubted that the Church determined who entered heaven and could bar its gate to any who opposed her.5 The most powerful civil rulers trembled when threatened with excommunication, for it was almost universally believed that outside the Church there was no salvation

In 1155 Pope Adrian IV gave the crown of Ireland to the King of England. Thus, by his authority as "Christ's vicar," he subjugated Ireland to English rule and consigned Ireland's "peaceful and Christian people to the merciless cruelties of Henry II, upon the ground that it was a portion of 'the patrimony of St. Peter and of the Holy Roman Church.'"9 Subsequent popes affirmed this decree.

So long as England remained Catholic the arrangement was tolerable. But when England turned Protestant its continued control of Catholic Ireland and Protestant persecution of Catholics planted the seeds of a problem that continues to this day. While Catholic Ireland has many legitimate grievances too complex to relate here, she needs to remember that it was, after all, the Roman Catholic popes who gave Ireland to England in the first place.

There is an element of sycophancy in this. He might be agile but that he outpaced others is verily not true... he was the star ND celebrity of the show... the report says he led them..... if you go ahead and he now gives a command to turn back wetin you go do

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday surprised many when he outpaced younger people during a health walk held in Abeokuta,Ogun State capital.
Mr. Obasanjo who is 80 years old, led about a hundred residents on a two kilometre trek on Moshood Abiola Way, to commemorate World Diabetics Day.
But he shocked many participants when he introduced brisk walking that left some panting and racing to catch up with the retired general.
The participants included the traditional ruler of Iwo, Adewale Akanbi who later had to fold his regalia and hand over his staff of office to his aide, to enable him reach the energetic former president.
Many of the older participants later withdrew midway into the trek, realising that they could not match Mr. Obasanjo’s pace.

Speaking at the end of the exercise, the former president said he was medically fit because he, ”religiously kept to his medication and was mindful of what he consumed.”
”I am fit because I religiously follow my medications and watch what I eat and drink. This must be a caution for all of us,” he said.
”I don’t know when I would die but I am above 80 and many of you can’t even beat me to the exercise this morning. Many of you were running after me.”
