https://www.nairaland.com/2443071/efcc-what-amaechi and https://www.nairaland.com/2442470/sule-lamido-sons-clear-case.

Sule Lamido and his two sons were remanded in prison by a federal high court till september 28 when the court will sit again to hear more on his alleged money laundering case.https://www.nairaland.com/2439170/lamido-sons-remanded-kano-prison.

My questions are:

1)Is it now a crime to probe public office holders if and when they are indicted of abuse and misappropriate of public funds?

2)Are some people not happy that EFCC seems to have finally woken up from their deep slumber of 6yrs?

3)Must we play partisan politics with everything?

4)Is Sule Lamido a Southerner?

5)Why are some Southerners hell bent on crucifying Amechi?

6)Has anyone so far indicted Amechi of misappropriation of public funds?

President Buhari made some appointment into his adminstration,he was accused of"Northernizing Nigeria",the EFCC arrested Sule Lamido(A Northerner)the same people are crying wolf.

What is wrong with these set of people?

One minute you are demanding for Biafra, the next minute you are calling for solidarity support for Sule Lamido(the same Northerner's whom you accused of ruining Jonathan's govt). What exactly is your problem?

Is stealing not really corruption?

Is EFCC really"harassing"Sule Lamido?

PoliticsRe: On Buhari's Fight Against Boko Haram - My Opinion by themilanway(m): 4:07pm On Jul 04, 2015
I had to like your post.Going by the propanganda the wailing wailers made before the election and after, you would think that Boko Haram by now will have given up arms, just because Buhari became president, have they?

Infact some jobless and attention seeking mofos were quick to point out"Buhari has won,Boko haram stopped".

I strongly believe Buhari is a silent worker and with time Boko haram will be crushed.

I also agree that their recent bombings is a sign that they are desperately trying to force the government to a blind spot,a plan I believe and think would yield nothing.

I believe in PMB

I didnt see where Oby was justifying the 82 coup, and yes she worked for OBJ but the economy wasn't as dire and critical as it is today, atleast he left some substantial amount of dollars in the country's coffer before leaving office.

Even the late Yar'adua left some thing concrete, how much did Jonathan left?

I don't know Oby personally but she doesn't strike me as a hungry stricken fellow, atleast her prestige and respect is still intact.

Same can't be said of a certain Femi Fani Kayode whom with Oby both served the same adminstration.

Whynotthetruth:
Though I have noted this moniker for childish statements but let me indulge you a little...

1)Jonathan was against PVC and he released funds to jega for same?...PDP stood against use of card reader for the singular reason of malfunctioning which we saw was justified later on...

2)Imagine if the table was turned around in the incident of card reader rejecting Jonathan and it was buhari...what would have been the outcome?

3)Don't you think Jonathan if he was as desperate as buhari would have called off the election once the card reader rejected him repeatedly...

4) Buhari started the call for jega sack as far back as 2011...when jega favoured his stronghold in PVC distribution at the expense of Jonathan strongholds; he kept mute...Don't you think Jonathan would have stopped the whole process if he was desperate?

5)Orubebe had a genuine case though I may disagree with mode and manner of presentation...Selective justice has been part of the corruption in Nigeria...

6)The judiciary aren't on strike....if buhari thinks anybody lied against him...let him sue for defamation in court of competent jurisdiction...
I stopped reading at"Orubebe had a genuine case".

I won't indulge you by replying those lame points you raised.

Stay safe.

Orubebe was about to strike the match before he made that most important phone call of his life.

PoliticsRe: Pmb And His Somalia Speech: A Call For Deep Concern! by themilanway(m): 8:53am On Jun 18, 2015
When I say GEJ/PDP sympathizers are nothing but hypocrites some thinks that I'm harsh.

So Buhari was planning to turn Nigeria to Somalia yet he and his party demanded and insisted the card reader and voters card be used, against the wish of Jonathan and his goons who suddenly were against the use of the card readers?

So Buhari was planning to turn Nigeria to Somalia, suddenly the idea of Jega must go materialized with a month to the elections?

He was planning to turn Nigeria to Somalia Orubebe almost held Jega and Nigeria to hostage even before the results were announced?

I guess Orubebe is from the North and an APC card carrying memeber?

What didnt you GEJ sympatizers throw at Buhari?

What conspiracy theories didn't you cook up about him?

Yet you have the audacity to call his supporters hypocrites, dude you are the century's hypocrite.

GEJ was smart enough to realize he was heading to prison, hence,he made that single most important call of his life.
PoliticsThe Hypocrisy Of PDP And Its Supporters. by themilanway(op): 6:00pm On Jun 10, 2015
It's on record that when Buhari and APC wanted Raji Fashola as the running mate to PMB,they immediately went to town, telling any one who cared to listen of how APC/Buhari intends to Islamize Nigeria by wanting a muslim/muslim ticket.A myopic and brain farting reasoning rather than discuss the competence, credibility and character of the man that would have ran with Buhari and whom the nation will on the long run benefit more from going by his track record of near excellency in how he transformed Lagos.

PDP threw in ethnicity and religion, who missed out?The Nigerian masses.

Sambo went on a campaign tour to one of the Northern state. He asked the masses not to vote for APC because Osinbajo is a christian and pastor and that there more christians in APC than PDP.

Another ethnicity and religion gaffe from the PDP.

As it stands now the"North"occupies the four exalted political office in the land.

President-North

Senate president-North

HORS-North

Chief justice of Nigeria-North

Yet PDP no longer have qualms over the ethnicity of Bukola Saraki and Dogara and were even"happy"with the result of NASS and HORS election respectively.

Who is decieving who?Who is the hypocrite?

Barcanista stop rambling and living in self denial. You are good at doing research and copy paste, not at dissecting or analysing core issues and permutations, nothing more or less.

Until yesterday I used to think you are head and shoulder the Nairaland political wizardiry until I went through the post of torkaka and FulaniMafia, after the emergence of Saraki as the Senate president.

I advice that you give it up and accept that you have been licked and pay homage to these afore mention guys.

By the way, when will you or the PDP release a public statement as to how"Buhari"or the"North"intends to Islamize Nigeria?

Or have you guys back down from your"The North have born to rule"nonsense,or how the"South west will always remain the North puppet and slave"rhetorics?

Bunch of jokers and hypocrites.

@torhuke yes Nigeria has a long way to go with people like you being this antagonistic about your president when he hasn't even started work. I remember when Goodluck was elected, it was all about excuses and inaction and Nigerians had patience till at least almost 2 years into his government. I personally did my best to advise the former government on job creation because no sane Nigerian will tolerate anything the government does if it doesn't result in job creation and Justice through law enforcement, they refused to listen because they took us for granted while basking in the euphoria of "when the time comes, we'll manipulate our way", of course that government had to go. I advise you have some patience and allow government to work before you begin your campaign of calumny, these insulting posts and hasty criticisms are really irritating and it makes the opposition and those working for them sound so foolish because majority are not buying these trash flying around, they're simply waiting for the president to perform and these ill-intended posts at this time are simply disgusting especially as they come from people who have nothing reasonable to offer the society, just waiting to take advantage of it for selfish gain. Nigerians know better!

What was doing in G7 meeting when his house is on fire?
And he was holding meeting when the legislators were suppose to be in the house?
You are free to join in cursing him if that will make you more of a man.

Buhari clearly stated that he is ready and willing to work with anybody elected as the senate president.

I also don't see anything wrong in him calling for a truce meeting.

Who would I have prefered?I don't give a damn about who wins or who not.All I'm interested are people who will work with the president in rebuilding this country.

I just hope Saraki will put the people 1st before his personal ambition.

God bless Nigeria.
