I don't see why a presidential candidate shouldn't be able to afford 100 million, it means if you're truly a presidential material then you should have people who can fund your ambition . And don't let anyone pretend they don't have the 100m coz their vehicle escort is more than 100m




I expected the backlash coz we are too sentimental . In reality pegging the form at 100m is more realistic, publishing it is more democratic. And it sieves out the un serious candidates . If a presidential candidate can't do a fund raiser or gather 100m what makes you think they can deliver or won't take the position as a poverty alleviation scheme. A man who's name can't fetch 100m shouldn't be considered fit for the presidency.
