Your post is not supported by the evidence of history. Awo vs Akintola. OBJ vs Tinubu. and on and on. Even in 2011, the voting pattern showed the South west was sharply divided. And they had so much voter apathy because the ACN presidential candidate was not a Yoruba. There is no election in Lagos since 1999 where the AD/AC/ACN did not cook food and share items or cash at the poling stations. We saw it all when we went to vote. If you want to see where people are very independent minded when they vote, go to the south east.
