Sincere 9gerian: Is the N1.9 trillion "missing" or it is yet be to be reconciled?
It is not missing. In fact, Okonjo interjected Sanusi as he was recanting his trash and corrected him that nothing is missing. Sanusi is a liar and a saboteur! He has to go!

Ikengawo: Sanusi is good at his job, he shouldn't be sacked but im glad he 'fixed' his figures (means he's backing down because it failed)
He is good at his job? Are you kidding me? Tell me what is his job please. If he cannot get basic figures right, you say he is good at his job. This is by far the most incompetent CBN governor we have had for along time. Donating multi millions to pilgrims and Islamic projects flippantly.

He should be fired ASAP! He is not just incompetent, he is playing politics with his position. He has to go! And he will go!

So to GEJ. And his sycophants that is not money.

Shut up@! Just shut it! Get it into your thick skull! There is nothing missing. In fact, the only thing missing is Sanusi's brain and your common sense!

They probably asked one woman selling lace at Oshodi market to call Rainbow FM and claim she is Iyabo. First and foremost, Iyabo is a former senator. If she wants to make a rebuttal, it certainly wont be with Rainbow FM? How many people listen to Rainbow FM? Something that was published in major dailies and has gone viral, you now go and dispel with a call to rainbow FM? These people dont even know how to lie sef!

Right now, Linda Ikeji 's blog is more credible than Sahara reporters

Why quoting them now when you said they are no more credible?
The original news item ws from Vanguard. I only posted the Sahara link here because they went ahead and posted the hard copy. Gerrit!

Olaolufred: WAS THE SIGNED COPY OF OBJ LETTER TO GEJ SIGNED BECAUSE HE IS A PRESIDENT.

STOP ASKING MUMU QUESTION.

SIGNED MEANS A SIGNED WRITE-PROOF PDF DOCUMENT SENT TO VANGUARD AS A COPY FOR THEM TO AUTHENTICATE THIS STORY.

WHAT IS THE ESSENCE OF READING A STORY THAT CAN NOT BE AUTHENTICATED?

IYABO DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A MINISTER BEFORE HER LETTER CAN BE AUTHENTICATED.
You are a dundee! How do you think Newspapers publish stories? Especially this kind of stories that have serious consequences? Are you smarter than Vanguard? Obviously not.

They get an authentic copy, they call the person to confirm and verify and them they go to press. The story is available on the Vanguard site as PDF. Some of you are too childish grin

Which stup1d issue are you talking about? That GEJ is training snipers! Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

You and OBJ are all comedians. An old man who didnt get his third term now wants to blackmail is way back to power and you claim he raised issues? The only issues he raised is his insatiable quest to control Nigeria and we have noted it!

PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by theoctopus: 11:21am On Dec 18, 2013
chi 3280: I knew this letter was fake! Iyabo Obasanjo will
never write this to tarnish the image of her
father. The bond that exist between Iyabo and
her father is so strong that nothing can
separate it. This letter was cooked up by the
camp of PDP headed by media aides of the
presidency just to get back at Obasanjo.
Jonathan is a bloody coward who couldn't reply Obasanjo but to use Iyabo against her father.
Iyabo should sue the hell out of Vanguard for
this fake letter which was not written by her.

I only but pity Jonathan at this moment. His media aides and sycophants have killed him politically. His chances of clinching the next presidency is very slim. This is the height of stupidity from him and his aides.
Please cry me a river. Continue your wailing! If you think you can vote him out, please make sure you go to the polls in 2015 lets see how far. Noise makers grin

ballabriggs: Ovoko!!! Another crude tactics from the apostles of President Jonadunce.

As soon as I saw Omokri dancing all over cyber space, I began to view the said letter with caution. The mere fact that Omokri was associated with the letter was enough to discredit the letter.

Thank God for her life that she did not write such to her father. Else, she would have been cursed for life. No matter the grievances, no well brought up daughter should write such an letter openly to her father.

Omokri's daughter can write such to him as he is a disgusting character. She can copy President Jonadunce as well as Okupe and Abati. They can " go and die" as "I do not give a damn".
Vanguard insists the letter is real. There is no denial on any rainbow FM! Nothing has changed so far! grin

PoliticsQuotes Of The Day By Iyabo Obasanjo by theoctopus(op): 10:00am On Dec 18, 2013
"For you to accuse someone else of what you so obviously practiced yourself tells of your narcissistic megalomaniac personality. Everyone around for even a few minutes knows that the only thing you respond to is praise and worship of you. People have learnt how to manipulate you by giving you what you crave. The only ones that can’t and will not stroke your ego are family members who you universally treat like shit (sic) apart from the few who have learnedto manipulate you like others". - Iyabo Obasanjo
"Before I continue, Nigerians are people who see conspiracy and self-service in everything because I think they believe everyone is like them. This letter is not in support of President Jonathan or APC or any other group or person, but an outpouring from my soul to God. I don’t blame you for the many atrocities you have been able to get away with, Nigerians were your enablers every step of the way. People ultimately get leaders that reflect them." - Iyabo Obasanjo
"When I spoke to you, your outward attitude to the people of the country was that you were not interested in the third term and that it was others pushing it. Your statement to me that day proved to me that you were the brain behind the third term debacle. It is therefore outrageous that you accuse the current President of a similar two-facedness that you yourself used against the people of the country." - Iyabo Obasanjo
"I was on a plane trip between Abuja and Lagos around the time of the third term issue and I sat next to one of your sycophants on the plane. He told me: “Only Obasanjo can rule Nigeria”. I replied: “God has not created a country where only one person can rule. If only one person can rule Nigeria then the whole Nigeria project is not a viable one, as it will be a non-sustainable project” - Iyabo Obasanjo
"You are one of those petty people who think the progress and success of another takes from you. You try to overshadow everyone around you, before you and after you. You are the prototypical “Mr. Know it all”. You’ve never said “I don’t know” on any topic, ever. Of course this means you surround yourself with idiots who will agree with you on anything and need you for financial gain and you need them for your insatiable ego. This your attitude is a reflection of the country. It is not certain which came first, your attitude seeping into the country’s psyche or the country accepting your irresponsible behavior for so long." - Iyabo Obasanjo
"You called me after your vengeful letter as usual, looking out for yourself and thinking you will bribe me by saying the APC will use me for the Senate. Do you really know me and what I want out of life?" - Iyabo Obasanjo
"I had told you I wasn’t going to run in 2011 but you manipulated me to run; that was my mistake. Losing was a blessing. As usual you wanted me to run for your self-serving purpose to perpetuate your name in the political realm and as the liar that you are, you later denied that it was you who wanted me to run in 2011." - Iyabo Obasanjo
"I have so much to do and think to make this world a better place than to waste it on fighting with idiots over a political post that does no good to society. That letter you wrote to the President, would you have tolerated such a letter as a sitting President? Don’t do to others what you will not allow to be done to you." - Iyabo Obasanjo
PoliticsRe: Iyabo Obasanjo's Letter To Her Father by theoctopus: 9:35am On Dec 18, 2013
There are many possible reactions to this letter. I will state mine, and why the bulk of reactions given here are not helping.

The letter is a response to Fmr. President Obasanjo's open letter to the President. This letter in it's entirety may be true (I actually think it is true). This letter goes a long way to show the kind of family life Fmr. President Obasanjo had. I also, sorry to add, subscribe to her opinion that Nigerians are guilty of desiring change, but not willing to do what is required to achieve it; and, not letting -- actually crucifying people who work hard with skills they possess to change Nigeria on altars of maintaining status quo and keeping things the way they are, believing that one day they will be in government and have access to steal funds that they will never be called on to account for.

Having said this, I will come to the crux of the matter on ground, which happens to be the reason I took my time to write this: this letter does not, in any way, discredit the issues (and that's putting it mildly, for 'problem' is a better word in this case) Fmr. President Obasanjo raised in his own letter. I took my time to study both letters and I have been particularly careful to note that Fmr. President Obasanjo's letter contains issues that, as he rightly put it, will lead Nigeria right back to the Abacha era and what characterized it. Senator Iyabo's letter, however, appears to only say that President Obasanjo has no moral grounds based on his family matters on ground to compose such a letter. I will not take sides with anyone. I will only say that everybody has skeletons in his closet. If risking the exposure of your skeletons will bring about a greater good by telling the outright truth, not behind the person in question but to the person's face, then Fmr. President Obasanjo should be credited for his brave and daring efforts at writing this letter. Someone quoted J.K. Rowling in the comments. Please note that the same celebrity author also said, "it is honourable to stand up to your enemies, but of even greater honour it is to stand up to your friends." Senator Iyabo, being a doctor trained in the US should be knowledgeable enough to acknowledge that things are not right -- or even close -- in this country. I've learned to put family differences and assertions aside when dealing with political matters because we all are imperfect people. If someone is not great at keeping his/er family together or treating them as s/he ought but can provide good governance, "for the greater good" s/he should be allowed to rule. For instance, the late Nelson Mandela was a divorcee but is celebrated today as one of the greatest men the world has ever seen. Fmr. President Bill Clinton was an adulterer having been in an affair with an intern in the White House, but today he is acknowledged as a great President and leader of the United States in his time.

No one is perfect, let us give people their chances to work for the greater good. This is key.

God bless Nigeria.
OBJ's letter contains nothing but bitter stuff from a man trying to blackmail his way back to power.

1. No funds are missing. Even the audited reports have come out to prove no funds were missing

2. OBJ cannot control GEJ and he is not happy about that. He is a power freak but has met his match in a man that has simply ignored him

3. Please tell me, between OBJ and GEJ who is likely to be training a killer squad? That one got me cracking. OBJ rana a killer government. From Bola Ige to Marshal Harry. We know what happened in his 8 years

4. What issue is asking GEJ not to contest when he is eligible? Does he own Nigeria?

Please if you see OBJ, help me tell him his judement has just began. He has not seen anything yet! grin
