Bro nothing u said there did I not understand. And u are limited by your own knowledge.
We played Morocco at WAFCON we were two players down and Morroco did everything and couldn't break us down even after extra time. We still had the threat when we attacked. Why did u think it played out that way, we are always ahead of Morocco in female football and we were not gonna give in to them even though they were the host nation and seemed to enjoy some officiating decision. In fact that tournament was our worst outing we probably wouldn't have qualified for the world cup for the fact that we finished 4th. Here is a similar situation with England whose football level is ahead of ours and you talk of breaking them down because they are a man down, however bad England played today and we couldn't get the kill punch we needed doesn't take away anything from our girls or those of us who support them for trying. It takes consistency. Today they were lucky we had them on the edge let's consolidate on what we have and work on it, it was good game play from. That's what we are saying. We want to be at the top of the food chain, and that comes with continuous grinding and hard work. I'm sure if we play England tomorrow again we can now beat them. Today before the game was played I never expected that we will have them on the edge. Based on their reputation in comparison with ours. All we have to do is work on what we have today to fear no team again. I hope we keep closing the gap at least and not expecting us to win a game we weren't
favored to win. That's my own point.

Everything you just wrote has nothing to do with what I was talking about... I ask yet again, did you actually read to understand or you just feel like replying?

Balogun seems young and a good substitute..

I won't mind Omilana been in the Super Falcons.

Balogun will be 34 in 3 months...She's just 2 years younger than Oluehi.

Where is the ball playing

Imagine, we had nearly twice the amount of chances England had and only managed to test their GK twice?? Very Appalling.

We hold some of the worst records for a team in the world cup, most goals conceded, least number of goals etc. How u want to define progress again now that we are out. We kept another clean sheet in today's game.
Sometimes how do you people talk and reason? What bar of expectation? Progress is born out of consistency. 9 world cups for us and this is our best. In 1999 it was quarter-finals because we didn't have a round of 16 then. But in terms of performance this is our best performance in the word cup, yes now that we are out It is our best performance. We left undefeated in 90 mins of all games.

Did you actually read to understand or read to reply?

Ok. Go to the next World Cup without better style of play and preparation and win based on hope and mindset.

Maybe its goals that win matches or mindset, we’ll see.

And as for the bolded, I’m also pissed we lost but I’ll cheer them on. Those celebrating also have a reason to cus this is probably our best performance in WC results wise so instead of claiming high ground thinking you’re some European team, touch grass and see things for what it is!

How profound!! I should have known....be well ✌️

Dear ThePresenceWtf

This is what I’m trying to buttress. These other teams have a better administration and football direction hence they have greater expectations. Can you say the same for us??

That's wasn't my point...While this is kind of valid, it's the unnecessary and incessant use of rationalization to try explain away the ineptness in our country that I'm alluding to. It's like we are never expected to be anything more than "We tried" "Okay" etc.

You didn’t prepare well for a test but you want to pass ahead of those who read night and day.

Do you know the set ups in place for these teams compared to NIG? England have the best female coach in the world, Spain have a philosophy they follow for both men and women, same as the Netherlands but you think we should do better than them based on gbas gbos football. Defense and insha Allah?

When you never expect yourself to accomplish anything, nothing will ever be accomplished. The bar and metrics of success and expectations is just too fucking low in this country... Like we never expect anything from ourselves and our country. Whenever we see a slimmer of success or progress, it feels like Jesus just came down from heaven or automatically Nigerian.

This game was literally there to be won and it's possibly the best the super falcons have ever had since participating in any FWWC...But we gotta make excuses and think we've achieved beyond what we can achieve. Smh.

With this mindset, we can never become whatever it is we are to become.

Because we know what we have! Is our set up or NT the same as England’s, or France’s, or Spain’s??

Don’t be naive abeg

Naive? really? So Goals and Objectives should be a fixed theory and shouldn't be revised to match current needs and situations?

Go on.

We played a very beatable team today and arguably we were the better side and also have shown to be very capable throughout this tournament, but alas, we didn't advance... and somehow we shouldn't even make an inquiry why that was? and should settle for less?

We have done very well. Please no blame games, we have exceeded all expectations!!!

What expectations? what kinda Stockholm syndrome is this? looks like we're not allowed to demand better from ourselves and do better.

Why do we always set the bar so damn low?

Don't get me wrong, the girls and staff have done well given the circumstances, but it wasn't like them doing well was out of the realm of possibilities.

We have ourselves to blame...Had several chances upon chances to go through to the next stage, but somehow contrived that we are only good enough for a R16.

Gifted another golden opportunity when England went down to 10, but spamming useless fruitless crosses and long balls was more important. Smh.
