Female Referees keep getting Incompetent by the minute. They used to actually be semi decent but not anymore....Smh What a stupid red card to give? |

maidaboi: Yeah I know, but I was referring to the first attempt, Ihezuo didn't connect well with her header and it fell to Kanu, who failed to connect with the volley. |
Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 7:13pm On Apr 09 |
Damn...How did Ihezuo miss that?!! |

Deltamani: No, she wasn't. She just played during the time female Goalkeepers were all short... Under 5'7". For reference, Hope Solo is the same size as she was ( 5'9" albeit, 2lbs smaller). One of the players in that picture is literally bigger than her. Don't let those oversized jersey and Monstrosity of Shin-pad she's doning fool you 😂😂 These were the GK she competed with Wising, Scurry, Jönsson, Rottenberg etc and she wasn't bigger than any of them. She was just regular sized. (For a female GK )

Deltamani: Nadine was never as bulky as Linda, I don't get where this contstant comparison is coming from. Nadine was just 5'9" and Linda is at least nothing less than 6'0" ( Chiamaka is 5'11" and Linda is comfortably taller than her ). Nadine was just a regular sized GK her playing weight is listed as 154lbs. Goalkeepers like Chrisiane Endler, Musovic, Berger etc are all comfortably bigger than she was. 1 Like

Deltamani: What I noticed is that She and Joy Okonye are kinda Similar and also slightly different at the same time ( If that makes sense). Celine is an excellent dribbler, so is Joy. Both are excellent passers, but Celine is the better passer with both feet but just slightly...Celine is the better defender and can play a little deeper ( Understandable, given that she's 5'5 and stockier and Joy is 5'2 and very petite ). Celine progresses the ball through nifty dribbles and excellent passes, meanwhile Joy does her progression by driving with the ball..She's very quick, fast and has a very low center of gravity ( She can progress through excellent passes too if need be). Both are excellent ball strikers, but I think Celine just has more power. Joy can play across all front 3 positions, while Celine would be better suited in any midfield position not name DM. Both are highly intelligent footballers, their game IQ is off the roofs, but Joy 🤩 ...how is she able to do the things she does at that size? she's just marvelous. I'm just so happy that we have highly technical MF/AMFs who could all be stars and good enough for any team in the world ( If everything goes right) From Jenni to Toni to Celine, Joy, "Zidane", etc. Our CMF looks good too... from Ayinde, to Christy, to Debbie, Elisha, Otu, Efih, Kalu, Olise and others who haven't even been given a look-in. |

Deltamani: Anderline is still better than Faith. But both of them are just timid, don't communicate with their defenders and no 'Command" about them Whatsoever. At least Anderline can still come out for crosses, can kick and throw a ball....It just appears that she lacks confidence, at least to me. Faith treats the ball like hot potato....Someone that positions and flattens her arms and wrists in a supine position when catching a ball close to her body. It's been 2 years and she still hasn't learnt how to take goal kicks or at least even improved one bit. The same BS she was doing in the U17 WWC. 🥱 2 Likes |

Man, Danjuma is really an Idiot! Never saw any "coaching" in this game... No tactical changes, tweaks or even motivation from him and his crew. He was just docile like a zombie... The most I saw him do was him berating one of his player for an injury during the 1st half of extra time. 🤦♂️ Him and the ninny that took charge of the men's team are both clowns.... Alongside the ones in charge of the U17s and their employers. 😂 3 Likes |

Alani is probably the worst player I've seen in a while. |
Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 11:53pm On Mar 21 |
solonnachi: I am sure People who play FM can do better tactical management than those 2 clowns. See the huge gap between Midfield and Attack. When we hoof the ball upfront, 4 Ghanaian Players are crowding just the 1 Nigerian attacker, yet there's nobody in sight to win the second balls 🤦♂️ Omilana Started time-wasting right from minute 24. Never occurred to that Bozo to encourage the team to get a second and wrap the game up. 3 Likes |

😂 😂 😂 Is Kalu still on the bench? For 100 minutes, Nigeria hasn't created anything... Not even a single chance. Smh |

Deltamani: No. 14 ( Okenwa?) has been good too... The rest are just playing football in reverse. Jumoke has been mightily underwhelming... She would have been better off if she just stayed back in her hotel room. 1 Like |

daveP: From the very first minute...Every single 50-50 is given Ghana's way. Giving Loveth Edeh a Yellow Card when she was actually fouled by a Ghanaian but yet awarded the free kick in that same scenario to Nigeria is the height of incompetency and stupidity. 1 Like |

Did the Referee Just give Edeh a Yellow Card Instead of the Ghanaian lady who committed the foul? Does she have sticks in her eyes? 😂 😂 😂 |

lovewins: Bro, are you sure about that? Chelsea moved the ball even more slower in the 1st half ( Main Culprits Nüsken, Buchanan, Lawrence ) But still had the better chances of the half too. Other than Mateo occasionally running through Chelsea's middle, no other Paris Fc's player posed any threat whatsoever. Berger was literally a spectator throughout the game ( Bar that early save in the 2nd half ). |

Deltamani: Actually Flourish is way taller than Caicedo by a lot. Flourish stands at 5'7 while Linda is 5'3. Linda do look Stockier tho, because it is much easier to fill out a shorter and smaller frame. Flourish probably do need a good dieting and gym regimen to fill out her frame, now that she's gonna be playing with a lot more grown ups and in a better and demanding league. 1 Like |
