Please SA, at least hold out for a draw.

...But I'll be very upset if I were to lose to this Swedish team, tbh.

U have to give SA their credit but Sweden no longer have one of the best leagues in Europe

Yeah, Credit to SA too, but they haven't really done anything in this game, they're just sleepwalking their way through, because Sweden has been that bad.

Other than Johanna Reytting-Kaneryd, nobody in the Swedish team has done anything. They just wanna take corner-kicks and hopefully score off a set-piece. Smh.

Fun Fact: Nigeria is the tallest African Team in the competition....In fact they're among one of the tallest teams.

For reference, Sweden one of the tallest teams, have 12 players who are 5'8 and above, Nigeria also have 12 players who are 5'8 and above.

I think this would be one of, if not Nigeria's tallest team ever.

This Swedish team used to be very good, now they look like a shadow of their former selves, what happened to them?!!. I noticed that a lot of their players from 4-6 years ago are no longer here and probably retired.

Your inability to comprehend that minute detail in front of you is kinda laughable. I will suggest you sit aside and observe the analyses here henceforth.

Ooohhh...looks like no one is home, exactly like I suspected.

Oh wow. Thanks for your comments.
And please, feel free to continue to wallow in your naivete.

I take it that you didn't look at who I was replying to, so I'll just overlook this and chuck it up as a simple mistake.

It was so evident the discussion flew over your head. We're talking of inconsistency, you turned it to racism.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 5:35am On Jul 21
FIFA and their implicit RACISM.
The girl that stumped on Ohale should have been redcarded. That stump was so late, it came in yesterday.
But because she was white, not even a yellow card.

I knew there was a racist intent when there was NO African on the VAR team. And I was proven right.
CAF must insist on having an African on the VAR team whenever an African team plays.
This is not even fully anymore.

Racist bastards!

Your intellectual dishonesty is very nauseating!! and one more thing, try not being obtuse!

Lol Referee Just ended the game before time and everyone is confused.

The Haitian goalie showing Earps that she's not the only one who can make saves too...Lol

Haiti are already playing 3x better than Zambia. See how WC debutants are playing with confidence

That's what having a good tactician does...

For all the talent in the world a team may have, if they don't have someone to harness and bring those talents together, giving them a measurable goal and objective, that'll be all a waste. Case in point The Belgian national team and the English national team of the past decade.

Zambia and Morocco shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breathe or sentence as the Super Falcons... The only similarities those teams have with the Super Falcons is "African"

But alas, we have a PE teacher for a head coach and an incompetent FA, so this is our reality now.

In a non-VAR world, it’s easily Japan 6-0 Zambia.

We could still end up with that score or more... over 15' still left to play.

Japan has been wasteful as well...

Damn...This Philippine team can complete more than 2 passes together....

....And all their players on the field are all Americans, with the exception of 3 players, one being Canadian, the other Australian and the other Norwegian....Who would have thought. Lol

I'll prefer Kanu and Oshoala. I dunno why Desire is not available. Injured? We really need natural wingers.

Ashleigh understands that supporting her winger is a keey requirement. Alozie didn't do that on the other side. Hopefully she does so next time. Those scrambles though.

Michelle couldn't even bring down passes given to her....There was a play in the first half where we were 5v3 against Canada in their defensive 3rd, ball was played to her from Toni, she took like 6 touches before bringing the ball under control, by which then, the Canadian team had recovered their defensive positions to make it 5v7 and she had to make a back pass to Christy and it was intercepted...Lol. A simple control and cross or pass would have left Ordega, Onumonu, Oshoala, Deborah and Toni against Kadeisha, Gilles and Riviere.

Also Ahsley was cooking on that flank the whole first half, so she didn't have the opportunity to attack as often.

Randy Waldrum is to Blame here💯

Obviously he is.....I wanted her hooked at half time, but she had a very "Ok" last 10 mins in the first half, so I would have allowed her start the 2nd and sub her by minute 55'
Sports / Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by ThePresenceWtf: 5:43am On Jul 21, 2023
Very Poor in game management from a very clueless coach....The tactics and instructions we start games with, are usually same we play with through out and finish the game. There's never a change or switch in the teams in-game mentality during games ( Possessional play, route one, Low block, high press, positional play, all out attack, all out defense, get stuck-in etc. ), No subs to offset teams deficiencies or exploit opponents deficiencies during games, we are all so predictable.
I've never watched a super falcons game under this man where the super falcons takes the initiative. We have never "played to win", it's always playing not to lose or not to lose by a wide margin.

The players and coach's celebrations after the game should tell you all you need to know. They went into the game trying not to lose....Smh

We truly do have a clueless coach...Smh
