I appreciate your viewpoint. I think that one thing the government should also achieve within this window in additional to slowing the transmission.
Folks should come online with suggestions on how best to help the State come out of the woods than irrelevant show of hatred

I ignore those who use the opportunity to show their unwarranted hatred for the governor; I may not like his policy, I don't even need to like him, but that not withstanding, I know he believes (rightly or not) he is doing what is best for the state, I commend him for that.

Most of us in PH are happy with what Wike is doing in PH especially during this pandemic. Wike might not always be right but he is doing wonderfully well. If you think Covid-19 requires kids gloove go and find out what is happening up north before you come here to incite hatred. Wike if you are reading this or your PA, continue doing what you are doing by ensuring safety of people in Rivers. You are a great man

The CONCEPT of lockdown is good, but locking people down without massively testing them is like too much motion without movement, hence, unnecessary.

If residents were being aggressively tested during this lockdowns, it would have just been excellent and worth the pains and hardship the lockdowns cause.

Wike reason of locking down Port Harcourt is that people are disobeying him Not even to fumigate the public places or conduct test house to house. He was the first to start lock down with all market close, na another lock down again till further notice other Governors will say 1week or 2week
This man is just excerising power with the public
Na heavy one chance wey Rivers people enter
God will see all of us through

Dude is actually messing up with the unnecessary lockdowns without a corresponding massive testing.

Only Amaechi tried to make PH look decent, a sizeable proportion of PH is actually unplanned, and dirty. Zero adherence to town planning. The govt of Wike is not concerned at how building codes are neglected. Wike is a disgrace to governance.

That said, PH has a plethora of upscale areas. Don't expect people living there (people like me grin) to snap neighborhood and upload online. At least for security and privacy reasons.

The bad part is that the man that is governor is locking down not to test/track cases but because people "disobeyed" him.

People are flooding out of the 2 locked down LG's to the 21 neighbouring LGA's.

Isn't that how it would spread round the state?

He has closed markets for weeks now, nowhere to buy food then Easter he announced all markets should open 7 - 12 for 2 days.

Recipe for crowding.

Dude is forming God.
I guess he dialogued for a ceasefire with Corona virus, on those 2 days.

Locking people down for the sake of just locking down because he can.

Brother, I have been following this agurement, the Ijaw nationality cuts across almost all the ND states, they are majorly found in the riverine areas even up to Ondo state of am not mistaking.
Saying Ijaw starts & end in Bayelsa state is not true, you may not hear them call Ijaw in these state but you will hear the name izon or any other name but it's of the Ijaw origin.

I think Lajet is aware of this fact; he was only following the other guy's logic - that Igboland starts and ends in the Nigeria-created South-East GEOPOLITICAL region.

If we are to believe that Igboland starts and ends in South-East, then we can also argue that Ijawland starts and ends in Bayelsa.

Both lines of argument are wrong, though.

The way we treat brains in this country is disappointing.

There is no way in a sane society Maurice Iwu would not have been among the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.

This man has cried that he has something potent against the virus. Like Madagascar invested in their own local solution. What stops us from channelling resources into the academia and tradomedical practicioners to try and tackle this problem.

Almost five months and no quality response from the Nigerian Ministry of Health.

I still ask again. Why is the academia left out of the Covid-19 Presidential Task Force.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

We are not serious as a country; no value for quality human resource; everything is viewed from the prism of ethnicity and tribalism, once u come from the "wrong side," just forget it; or better still, go overseas.

Genius man who discovered the cure to HIV in I think 1999. What was astounding about this man was that he hardly failed a question in tests or exams from his primary school days. Finished first class and distinction performance in his masters.

His treatment got banned by NAFDAC for flimsy reasons and assassins made attempt to kill him.

It was from him in 1999 I first heard the term curative vaccine which is now a regular term. My mind came to him during the first time the coronavirus broke out.

Abalaka alongside his hospital, Medicrest Specialist Hospital Limited, Gwagwalada had dragged the Federal Government to court seeking a declaration that the July 20, 2000 ban or suspension of the use of HIV vaccine he discovered was illegal, null and void because it violates his Patent No. RP13567 dated July 22 1999.

The President, Attorney-General of the Federation and National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration and Control were defendants in the case.

Abalaka told the court that he took a blood sample from an infected person, treated it and re-inject it into the person.

The surgeon had also informed the court that he has treated infected persons with their consent and quite a few have reverted to negative.

‪He said even though he had informed the agencies in the Ministry of Health of his major breakthrough and sought their collaboration, they vehemently opposed his discovery with concrete verification.

Your quota was filled and you want them to take another state's quota to satisfy you because you're qualified.

Are you the only qualified person to apply. What about the last 500 C.V you submitted, did any of the companies call you back?

Were you not qualified?

Better double your hustle. If the cuttoff was 100 and your states candidates average was 150 and you scored 145, how can you be qualified?

If another state's average was 115, and the guy who got the job score 120, is he not qualified. First you beat the general cutoff points, then you beat your categories cutoff points.

Always complain about quota system but do not know how it works. And yet you claim you're qualified.

All, Nigerians;
Same exam;
Different expectations (on the basis of ethnicity/tribalism/state of origin).
And you think it's okay?
If one complains, he is termed the tRiBaLiSt, whereas, those who proposed such unjust crap are the pAtRiOts.

I think we do not have liveliness on the leadership level. Dr Abalaka comes to mind.

I have a friend in the USA who got a breakthrough in power generation, and its not one of those useless free energy devices paraded on youtube. He approached someone for funding, the top players in the industry bribed the funder by millions of dollars to jettison the idea. My friend now lives fearing for his life after several attempts.

The point is what is know as Big Pharma, Secret Societies etc would compromise any positive effort as long as the money doesn't go back to them. This is why Dr Abalaka, Maurice Iwu etc would continue to remain underground.

Every region in Nigeria do contribute to our national pause in one way or the other!!

But let's talk about productivity

North provide Nigeria with food!

South west _Our imports and exports will not be without Lagos port

North Central_yam and fruits!

Niger Delta_Oil

South east contribute nothing to our national pause!

Tell me one thing that south east produce which Nigerians Consume??

They're only good at assembling fake chines products in Aba tagging them Aba!

South east is the region dragging Nigeria backward!

They're all traders scattered all over Nigeria benefiting from their host communities!!

When talking about productivity! The south east is zero!

North West
North East
North Central
South West
South-South
(Northwithstanding, i still don't know what's South-South means ethically to the world. I only got to know about in Nigeria)

Feel free to pass ur opinion over. Thanks

First and foremost I do not support Nnamdi Kalu. I have never listened to his radio or whatever.

Secondly my dad is a cardiologist who works along side with neurologist in a teching hospital. This man has dealt with cases like this from mild partial stroke to full blown stroke.
PATIENTS LIE AND COVER UP SYMPTOMS FROM DOCTORS
THATS WHY DOCTORS ARE TRAINED TO DETECT SYMPTOMS EVEN IF PATIENT IS LYING AND COVERING IT UP..

That's why doctors know where to look in the body that will reveal signs of disease even if Patient are lying and covering it.
80% of zombies here do not even have any atom of medical knowledge yet spew trash because that's what zombies do.
Vomit trash from their mouths

Lastly, I do not give a damn, what happens to Osibanjo. I just pointed out something obvious but zombies will forever be zombies..

You broke the first zombie rule:

No one said Nigeria started in 2015! One thing the thread does show though is that we fail to realise we are all in this together.

How can anyone claim the North that has the lowest education rate in the country is more developed! A few good roads here and there for poverty stricken almanjeris to drive their phantom benz while their educated leaders are sharing all the money that's meant to develop them? At least down South we'd be ranting and wailing. In parts of the North we'd watch our governor receive dollars and still elect gandollar!

There's a 'class' of people who do benefit in Nigeria, and smartly, they are not all from one region. And until we open our eyes and recognise that fact instead of continuing to be divided so we can easily have the wool pulled over our eyes, the more undeveloped we are all going to become, especially now that no one is buying our one single asset!

Nice one, bro.
This (the last paragraph) has always been my thought.
