Started this journey in 2019 Covid happened and then had to write another Ielts with wifey. Cos the other ones expired. My wife got tired of it all and suggested masters. We started masters online in a uk university cos we couldn’t travel and the school gave an option of doing it online or deferring. We choosed to do it online. After second semester and Covid eased off, we made enquiry and they said we ain’t qualify for the 2yrs post work visa because we did it online. By this time, we wrote another Ielts as the other expired. So I had to pay for another Masters in the Uk while we were doing our dissertation making it 2nd uk master for my wife by the time we finished last year we updated our Wes because now we had masters. Our Score was now 486 we were just in the pool because cutoff was 500 and we left naija for the uk for madam 2nd masters and I as the dependant. Fast forward to March this year we got ITA. Did medicals in April and we have been waiting since. Did biometrics in June and today by the Glory of God we got PPR. This race will teach you patience my brethren. The Lord that did us will do for y’all IJN. God did it

Now we don’t know if to discontinue the masters or do soft landing. We so excited and for the newcomers please read from the first page. I became a consultant (lol) because everything we did and learned, was from this platform. Thank you all and God bless you. See y’all at the top

Morning all. Another question guys. I’m seeing on my application, processing fee and permanent resident fee is 1,040 Canadian dollars. And on cic website is 1,365 Canadian dollars and 230 Canadian dollars for kids. Please which is which? Thanks

Morning All. Quick question. Where can I get medical done in the Uk and how much? Once we get our PR now, I ain’t paying the balance school fees again because we are leaving the Uk for Canada. Will the uk visa be revoked since we have left and didn’t finish the masters program? Or is there something we should do. Thanks

Only residence visa. Anyone travelling to UAE is using a residence visa

ITA received finally. It has been a long ride. Since 2019 that we even had to apply for masters in the uk but couldn’t do it cos of COVID while waiting for ITA. Did the masters online but wasn’t qualified for post study work visa. By this time profile has expired. Wrote another Ielts (my partner and I). Did another evaluation and boom Canada decided to show us another shege. Scores went above 500. Paid for another masters in the uk. This time 18months cos they said pre-masters. Didn’t want to disclose we had a previous masters and after landing in the UK just 2 months. ITA don show. It can only be God. Thank you all for the encouragement. My own is DONT GIVE UP. it’ll end in praise.

Yes! We did a paid call yesterday and told that they’ve made decision for both MA (29th Dec) and dependents (30th)

MA got BRP mail yesterday and his application has moved to VAC as well as dependents but no BRP mail for dependents.

Was waiting for everything before updating my post.

2 I heard standard chartered dollar card can’t pay for more 6k dollars per month. Thinking of using UBA prepaid dollar card.
