My first girl did it to me. But as for the first girl I talked to, I think I did alright. We laughed for most of the time and she was busy playing too hard to get. She said she needed to see me as a serious student before she'd consider me (I went to class with a portable CD player in my ear everyday). I tried to bypass that determination she had and we were cool after a few days. Her name was Bimbo. But yea it felt good; she was so eager to listen to what I had to say, probably because she expected I'd say something because she knew I watched her. And her friend ended up getting upset because she thought it was going to be short but we ended up talking for hours about other random things -- but she was mine two days later |
olovezej:Exactly. You just said it. I guess they'd go out there and check the number of Yoruba girls who are married and are dating Igbo guys and they can shut their mouth. |

asha 80:Don't mind him. He's clutched in his own obliviousness. Yoruba lovable folks my black ass! Who goes around marrying second, third, fourth wives? I guess that's a Yoruba way of respecting women. ![]() Secretz:Yes, Igbo. Affirmative! I have lots of Yoruba guys as friends and I know how it goes down with Yoruba tribe like the back of my hand. Some things are better left unsaid. |

Secretz:Just my brain cells? What about them? ![]() |
asha 80:That siggy of yours is something else. ![]() |
jassie:Your version of the general perspective is not accurate, matter of fact, very wrong. I don't see anything blunt about your comments. All I see is some erroneous and tribal slurring remarks. There are lots of Yoruba women, classy ones (as you stated) at that, who are dating, dated, and are married to Igbo men. And by the way, what's your definition of "the classy ones"? Backward thinking tribalists? You still need to grow or extricate yourself off of the fangs of heightened ignorance. |
tubabie:C2 may not be available for comment when she comes asking. And for you to have said you've not heard it in ages, it makes you liable to give her a response on that. Do take note ![]() |
Kunbee:You sef, how many hussy you get for here? ![]() |
jassie:Just look at all your wrong facts! Look at the holes. I'll break it down for you. Do you know how many Yoruba family kill their family members all in the name of claiming properties? I know this much about Yorubaland and if you want to dispute that fact I'm ready to take it on with you. Can you tell me those issues Igbo me have in their families? Maybe you're not familiar with Yoruba culture or at best didn't live near your people to know all these. There's always a stern warning in Yoruba land and that is: Don't front when it comes to inheritance because right there, many people get their deaths, so what are you saying? Igbo men's younger siblings look up to them (the rich ones) and Yoruba don't do that? Tell me what's wrong in a younger sibling looking up to their elder for some sort of assistance? Stop being tribal, it's bad for your image. You said his family will think because he doesn't meet up with their expectations, then his wife will be blamed? I can only point out the fact to you. In Yoruba land, the most common cause of polygamy is family pressure and that's because they think they're not getting what they expected; and they subsequently think a marriage with another woman will phase the first wife out. Again I say: Stop trying to be ignorant. |
