Is Mikel the only person on that field? Why is everyone picking on him? |
I'm supporting Egypt if they make it through to the World Cup |
Who's that bashing Mikel there? Mikel is a fantastic player at Chelsea and that's why he's in form there. Nigerian team in general is nothing but a piece of shit Just look at them missing cheap goals. |
SUPER CHICKENS WILL ONCE AGAIN DISAPPOINT US |

SapeleGuy:Are you supporting these criminals? |
If you meant the questions you asked, then yes, they were and still are directed at my person. Questions A to C had the pronoun, "you". And I didn't twist your question, I just needed to know what conclusions let you to answer those questions, alright?
I meant to say: I needed to know what conclusions you drew from my comments that led you to ask those questions, because from all I said I don't think any of them gave the slightest indication for you to ask me questions B and C. I'm going to drop it as well because if you go back to what I said, those questions don't apply to me as well as my comments. Thank you. |
And no, I'm not in the least threatened by your questions. |
If you meant the questions you asked, then yes, they were and still are directed at my person. Questions A to C had the pronoun, "you". And I didn't twist your question, I just needed to know what conclusions let you to answer those questions, alright? |
I'm still waiting for that response to support your questions, B and C. ![]() |
Maybe you should go back and read what I said over again. And you need to point out things I said that made me sound or look like I'm one of Nigerian internet millionaires, when you've successfully done that, I will give answers to your questions. |
texazzpete:Sometimes your pickup line leaves me doing nothing but wonder. What do you expect of criminals undergoing rehabilitation? And where you're when criminals undergo rehabilitation they have to undergo adversity such as highlighted in this report? My dear friend, be real with yourself because what you just said doesn't make any valid sense. Here are criminals making thousands and millions of Naira from kidnapping, ammo sales, drugs and such and after they've been convinced to drop their arms you expect them to be patient to put up with Nigeria government's failure to come up with what they promised? They've not performed a single part of their obligation and you say there's nothing honest about these criminals? Be more constructive when you point out your arguments next time, especially if you have to quote my comment. |
And who are these two divers? There's no doubt they're great players but why the unnecessary hype? |
I knew this was going to fail. Just less than 2 months into the program and everything has turned out to be scam. There's nothing honest about Nigerian governments. I'll see how they'll handle this one, especially when they boys are already threatening going back to the creeks to foment more chaos. This time will not be funny. |
I've always been disgusted at the high rate Nigerians have been involved in scamming. It's so embarrassing. I don't condone it, not under the slightest excuse. But from a company like SONY, I'd have expected some leniency rather than stereotyping all Nigerians as scammers. I can't classify that as being racist, but for sure a company with such reputation should know better than single out a particular country for slurring -- it's not professional. I guess they've seen Nigerian leaders as toothless dogs who can't do nothing, oh well, aren't the leaders scammers too?! I do agree with some of what texazzpete said but he went a little overboard, shipping his points home. But you see, you don't insult a whole country. It's just plain immaturity. I don't accept what SONY had portrayed Nigeria as, and in fact, if I was the Nigerian president, I'd have subdued them and they'll make an apology for such brainless criticism. I don't see any solution in sight to completely halt these scammers. On a second thought, are Nigerians the only scammers? I know there are lots on Russia, China and Philippines. I get lots of emails from these countries more often than Nigeria and I'm so sure scamming didn't originate from Nigeria -- yes, it may have been advanced and upped there -- it started elsewhere and are still practiced widely in other countries. I see SONY's actions as deliberate and should have been utterly spoken against by the Nigerian government. My respect for SONY just went low since I saw the ad, and they're just a gross disappointment. How about them not ship their products to Nigeria anymore (it's not like it's going to affect them anyway)? How about them close down their offices in Nigeria? Their executives took a shot at Nigerians and the government folded their hands and watched. Well, what else more can I say?! After all, the government denied there there Nigerians lined up for execution in Libya when in fact it was absolutely true. . . I blame it on them. |
If I may ask, who are you? You sound like you're in some position of unchallenged authority, that's why I asked. |
Please expose him and name your price, I'll pay. |
I think some people are easier to read. You can form a solid opinion of them in a short time. Others take longer. And a few take forever
That's how it is.
LOL lost of control is the issue when it comes to anger. Even when i loose my cool, i still mentally filter before talking. Some people rely on that excuse to say what is really on their mind
Lost control it is. You filter mentally before you talk and does everyone have to do the same? And if they don't they are on a bad list? Yes, some people air their mind when they are angry (I think it's a cheap mode), but do you have a problem with people saying their minds even when they're angry? |
chiogo:I clicked the reply button to let her see her foolishness. Really, if you say he's hot or not, I can't be bothered, about the responders that is. But the starter of the thread didn't have a single comment to support her point. What do you mean when you say someone's hot or not? She had no point to predicate her witless discussion on. It's discrediting how we Africans have nothing to say to commend our little achievement but find a way to dethrone them by, of course, any means possible. Pray tell, what's her reasons for saying he's not hot or whatever the f.uck she meant? None! And if she's asked to state them, she'll only successfully make baseless points. If you want to prove me wrong, ask her. I just hate it when people with no record just come to bash people who've given their all to get to where they are. |
annab:Look here, miss thing, you might want to rephrase your comment because for one, if you know me so well, you don't want to engage me in your futile vituperations or you'll have yourself to blame. What I said was simple. You don't create a thread just to hate on people, especially when they've done absolutely nothing wrong. The dude's doing his thing and no one has complained ill about him and you're here starting up some bullshit and pointless thread about him, oh well, I don't blame you -- what could I have expected from a brainless, gadabout and asinine retard like yourself!!! Why don't you go out there and make a name for yourself? Do something we, or at least your family can be proud of and stop sneering at people's achievement when they've done a lot to get there. And to top it all, you're calling me "theasshole" -- you really might want to rephrase that and if you think I've started with you, I'll wait till you trade out the venom and cheap shots from your foul mouth and see what you get from me. Brainless Arrow! |
OK. I thought this thread was moved, but here's another I created along with it. . . you might want to check it out. Lots and lots of gist on there. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-297077.0.html |
Depends on how you see it. If your boyfriend/husband doesn't own your body, how then do you watch your weight when he complains about it? If your girlfriend/wife doesn't own your body, why do you work out when she says you don't have enough 6-packs? In a relationship, or appropriately put, marriage, the both own either body, i.e. the woman owns the man's and vice versa. The number of cosmetic surgeries men and women undergo these days all in a bid to satisfy their partner tells it all. Women say they don't want skinny men, if such men truly own their bodies, why can't just accept their bodies and deal with yours? Pretense, pretense and more pretense is all you get from some women. Go and look obese and tell your boyfriend/husband that it's your body and see how you'll be ejected like a broken CD. |
I can't truly say if I'm sorry for you but in the first place I can't lay my blames on the girl. You plainly showed her you were gullible and she took an advantage of that, so why can't you live with the consequences? How, in God's name, did you find out your girlfriend was dating another guy for financial reasons and you kept mum about it because she said she knew what she was doing? Who does that these days? Only gullible people. Sorry that may have been harsh but truth, they say, hurts. I'll analyze the first part where she told she was dating for financial reasons: 1. She didn't respect you. 2. She's took you for a fool 3. She used you (because you spent money on her too) 4. She's materialistic 5. She's lazy 6. She's not content with what she has (because you give her money too) 7. She's a liar 8. She's a gold digger. You never had the inkling that she'd sleep with the guy that gives her money? She says she loves you, yes, because she's finally been able to find out you can put up with her bullshit. And sorry to say, but my friend, she doesn't love you -- she just thinks you're so accessible for her to do whatever she wants and the sad truth is that she's right. If I were in your shoes, the first day she told me she knew what she was doing, she's so out of my life. About her, her friends didn't persuade her to do anything, well, if they did, I'm sure they'll have told her to leave you as well and stay with the other guy. If you have a doubt about that, why didn't they persuade her to have sex with you? Do you supposedly think the other guy knows you exist? HE sure doesn't know because this ludicrous girl of yours will tell him he's the only one because he has more advantages to tap from than you. You want to beat her? Let me guess: You beat her, she cries but she keeps begging you to forgive and finally you're convinced she loves you for real because you'll be thinking, "If she doesn't love me, she'd have just walked away," -- indeed funny. See, you don't hit a woman for so many reasons but the ones I hate the most is it makes you looks immature and disrespectful, I mean what manner of man beats a woman if not a mentally sick man. She agreed to change her number because of the guy? I can't stop laughing. And where did she get the idea from that she couldn't get it earlier when you complained about it? Did she get that from her friends too? Did her friends put off her clothes, laid her on the bed, opened her legs and made her moan in pleasure, when she claimed they persuaded her? Has she got all she wanted, financially and materialistically, from the guy that she wants to change her number and stop communication with him? Wake up from your dream! She'll still play dumb that she doesn't know where he got the new number from and still be sleeping with him. Walk away! Forgive her and walk away! It's as easy as that. |
topup:The problem people have is that they don't think there's anything like being caught off guard or making the silliest of mistakes. People have fallen at points where they were most revered, and if there's one thing I can be sure of: It's that they never wished they'd fall at such areas. Human will be human. We have a part that's just not admissible, and we have the good sect too; I believe these makes us up. And again, we all have our moments when we tend to deviate from who we are and it is some people who will bear the brunt and judging by what people think, their thought will be centered on what that person did that's different from what they've been doing. I've seen many cases where people have said that someone's true personality manifests when they are angry but I completely disagree with that. We all have different modes of controlling our temper and some people aren't just good at that. I have a friend who will say all sorts of unimaginable things when he's angry and deep down in me, I know with countless qualities and reasons, that he's indeed a great person, a good friend too; and there's another friend of mine too, who becomes very quiet when he's angry. I'm just trying to support your point that people mostly expect others to always be of good conduct but that's not always the case. However, it's noteworthy that some act really outrageously out of plain immaturity, ignorance or grand stupidity. |

Sagamite:You just said my mind. Sagamite:My question still remains as to why I have to put in $100K for MBA, for God-knows-how-many-years, and then about or close to $80K for seminars and books cost when I can actually save up the money and start a good business. I don't see why I have to follow the norm when I can actually have a safer avenue to challenge it. I'd rather be the CEO than to be "CEOd" upon, and I don't see why. It's always one step at a time. A lot of people want to start business and make millions instantly; it all has to come gradually. I know deep down there within these MBA business owners, if you ask them whether to go for MBA or start a business with this lump sums, they'll advise you in their very honest opinion to start a business. It's just a mere rip off paying out such amount of money for MBA (agreed that the opportunities are very astronomical). I'd prefer to buy the mall than just buy Gucci from it. I'll just start up my own business, employ MBA holders and make money, it's as simple as that. If after my profits, I want to go have MBA at such expensive rates, then I'll go most definitely. |

It might be a little tricky for some people to read. Let me see if I understand what you said in that post.Your girlfriend told you she's traveling on Friday. She has two lines, MTN and ZAIN, and these lines didn't connect on Friday. You were worried and after you were done worried, she sent you a text. When you got the text, you called her up and her explanation was that her ex boyfriend has been perturbing her lines, so she switched off her phones. You find that funny because you question why she'd have to do that, could it be because she has a lot to explain to the boyfriend? Now, you would have preferred if she told you that she was on a date with her ex boyfriend, meanwhile, she didn't travel eventually on that day. And you want to lie if she's lying, right? So tell me, did I get you right? Good morning, Hon. Tubabie. |
In my humble opinion, first impression doesn't count. Meeting someone in church doesn't automatically make them a good person, at least, not in my book. Matter of fact, I'm always weary of people in churches. I know much more cases where pastors have slept on several occasions with my young girls in their various churches; so tell me, when you meet most of these pastors, what do they portray? They'll portray this heavenly meekness and pureness. . . I don't even trust a lot of pastors, yet, I'm a Christian and I go to church. Just tell me what's in the Bible your character means nothing to me, you're on your own with God when judgment comes. As for the girl on facebook, it depends on how you want to see her. I'd see that as probably trying to mix up with the current in-thing, going on in the society and maybe trying to get in the mix of what her friends are probably involved in. I'll also have the perception that it's just another dimension to who she is. I'll consider her, a bit open, and spontaneously dynamic. From experience, there are lots of whores who have good and very acceptable moral behaviors; I see their whoring as a matter of choice, maybe not to profession I'd approve of, but hell yes, it makes them happy and they make a living from it. I can't specifically base all other views I have of them on just that. There are many sides that make up a person, either good or bad. But like N2D said, we tend to always remember the bad than the good. For instance, you meet a guy who's terribly heartbroken and at that moment hates himself, his life, everyone around him. How do you suppose he'll accept you when he meets you? Of course, it'll not be friendly. Will you, hitherto, have a permanent belief that he's unfriendly? That's how it is. You wait it out until they've done a particular thing repeatedly before you can decipher what they really are. |
Jealousy is sure one of, and in fact, your major problem. You're an indoor type of person, which may be quite normal in a way and he's the outgoing kind (which you should expect). First of all, to limit your jealousy rate, you need to trust him and accept him for who he is. When you have that cleared out the way, you then start to worry about how often he parties, who he parties with and express your concern. Honestly, you might not see distrust from you towards him, it's exists but latent, and it's stealthily stimulating your jealousy. If you need to discuss this with him, you need to demonstrate him you trust him -- as showing your lack of trust in him will lead to a situation you may not like -- but if you don't, never bring it up yet until you've worked on your trust issues. You also need to ask yourself a couple of questions, like, who he hangs with, what kind of people his friends are, how often he does this, where and when he does, etc. You said you're sure he loves you; you can take the reasons into consideration and that will help in taming your jealousy, and believe me once you work on your trust issue, your jealousy rate will tone down to a humanly considerable limit. |
