Isn't Buhari the 'GRAND COMMANDER OF THE FRAUDSTERS' REPUBLIC' considering the fact that he circumnavigated INEC rules without providing his SSCE certificate? Heck! The APC media outlets released a FORGED SSCE RESULT that Buhari hasn't confirmed or denounced till date. |

There's no emotional blackmail. That's the point, isn't it? You raised the point as a subtle threat, a preconceived plan to get back at him to score a point. Even though he's apologized you still won't let go. You've subtly set the rules to keep him under your leash. Whatelse qualifies as emotional blackmail if not that? |

Slimzjoe: Thesonofmark you're almost always online on Nairaland.... How do you make out time to study? I created this account about a year ago and I've spent about 1 month cummulatively online. This means 1 month divided by 12 months which is about 1.972 hours. It also means on the average I spend about 2 hours online daily which leaves 22 hours for me to study.

ronald4lif: Impressive. I'd thought the reverse and the customary ways of appeasing women was the case and had prepared subsequent questions relating to that. This is quite descriptive of why you berate and scold male butt-lickers on this corner of the blogosphere. Actions speaks louder than words they say.
But on other social platforms like Facebook, Twitter and the rest most guys still drops adulating comments on female profile pics. Do you equally lambast such actions and guys?.
As a student who spends time on the campus almost daily, the act of laudatory and verbal flattering of women is a normal practice among guys. Don't you have mates who revels in this act and how do you react when they do?.
Does admiring a woman's body and making it known to her by adulations automatically translate to butt-licking?. Aren't women move by words like they said so should it be a thing to be discouraged?. Or your campaign is basically when the adulation is overboard?. [b] Ironically, lambasting a dude who kept butt-licking every female on my school's Facebook page about 2 years ago and the controversy that followed is how she and I met. We were arguing about a feminist post.
Gosh! I criticize guys who butt-lick a lot. Even my coursemates aren't spared.
There are several ways of making your intentions known to a woman without making yourself seem servile.
I could meet a woman I fancy who's reading a paperback romance novel with a woman in a seductive pose on the cover and I could start a conversation about judging a book by its cover while punctuating it intermittently with innuedos like comparisions of the female's hair and the one in the book. Obviously I am flirting with her and piqueing her curiosity but I am not butt-licking.
Even if my younger brother butt-licks I'd bash him.
Ironically, guys like me who don't butt-lick get the females more because we act different from the other guys.

ronald4lif: TheSonOfMark, do you converse with your girlfriend with local parlance and Ibibio or is it always vocabs?.
It's no secret that women would often times want to play certain mind games to make their partner say nice things for their contentment. Do you often show remorse and feel apologetic when she feels you have wronged her (even if you didn't really got her upset) or you are unapologetic and unperturbed when such games are employed by her. [b] We converse in English language even though we are both Ibibios.
Sorry? Sorry comes easy to me when I realize I am wrong. She's a stubborn and funny and generally smart which is what attracted me to her anyways.
I have my unique way of complimenting her. For example when she updates a picture on Facebook and other guys are bestowing adulations like "baby you look beautiful" I could just post something like "Purple and white? Quite regal".
Or maybe she makes a new hairstyle and I keep stroking it. Even some acts like placing my hand gently on her waist as we stroll.
She's come to understand that that's my way of saying she looks nice.
I don't believe in telling a woman how much she means to me every time - I believe in showing her by subtle acts. Acts like kissing her forehead tenderly before her friends mean a lot.
Acts like walking on the side of the road close to traffic while she walks the pesdestrian side mean a lot.
Acts llke going to occasions with her and allowing her show you to her friends.
Action is my thingy not just words.

ronald4lif: Fair treatment should suffice as (exact) equality is infeasible if one must be honest. But fair treatment is subjective hence they envisage for equal representation. What A considers fair is different from what B deem as same. Nicely narrated points anyways. We'd debate this further as usual in the Derailers' Paradise...expect my blunt replies of course.

ronald4lif: Good read. It's save to say that religion is man made and an organized doctrine designed by man, mostly men who are seemingly misogynists judging from passages of most religious books that was structured to give men the edge over women and basically establish an alpha-male society. I hope other Christians/Muslims can view it likewise.
Do you think religion played a significant role in bringing about a patriarchal system or would it have been different without it?. Is the more to male supremacy apart from the religious and cultural factor and can we have a few reasons to this?.
What's the drive behind your anti-feminism crusade and why do you think gender equality is unobtainable in Nigeria?. There's no such thing as "gender equality" since both genders are dissimiliar and face perculiar challenges. I only advocate for FAIR TREATMENT. If a girl is more qualified than a guy for a post then give it to her.
Even across the primate groups, male animals have always led each herd. Female chimps partly contribute to the well being of her group but she recognizes her place.
Women should rather seek FAIR TREATMENT than GENDER EQUALITY.
