Right on the mark! The Heavens forbid that I even date a woman who's too unimaginative to string words articulately and innovatively.

Smart!

Parents (mums especially) of yesteryears would probably have smacked the child so hard on its bum, it'd have had a five-minute long spell of amnesia.

Jamie: What the fùck?!

Mum: *Smack* Jamie, repeat what you said.

Jamie: I... I... I can't remember, mummy.

Mum: Good, good. Continue playing with your toy train.

You never can tell. An open invitation like this serves as a clear-motive offer as the public is put on notice. A private invitation on the other hand might look suspicious.

I think what is actually stupid here is your quirky cognitive analysis that skip logical process before arriving at hasty conclusion.

How about Abiribas who call money okpogho. By your poor reasoning, they are not IGBO. Am sure if there is a free education program for IGBO people lets say in Canada, all the confused people deny Igbo will jump to it. What a shame.
"OKPOGHO/OKPOHO/AKPOHO" actually means in the Akwaibom languages. Still we don't tag the Abiribas 'Ibibiod ' like the Igbos would do in similar instances.

So with this definition, if a girl have sex for the fun of it, without any form of gratification, she isn't a whore_.

How nice. grin

A girl who has sex for the fun of it outside the context of a defined relationship ( CASUAL SEX ) is a _SLUT_ .

A _WHORE_ is a PAID _SLUT _ ( in cash or kind ).

And the remedy for a cheating partner is?
Break-up and move on.
If I cheat my lady shouldn't forgive me and vice versa.

When there's a mutual agreement to date exclusively - mostly initiated by the woman- both parties should stick to the terms. It's an 'emotional contract'.

There is no one immune to that. Even as a man, the end of any relationship is followed by a period of trying to avoid the opposite sex to appraise what went wrong and how to get things back together if possible. I would only move when all hope is lost. That takes time.

This reminds me a a thread about 7 years ago by a woman who lost her husband and was pregnant within 4 months and having the temerity to ask Nairalanders for advice. Jeez what is the world turning into especially Africa. Even liberal westerners are not that insensitive.

This is marriage and no ball game. Marriage! not a mere dating relationship. Marriage consummated under law and sadly enough custom. Stop justifying infidelity. Anyway like my elders used to say, a woman that will cheat will cheat no matter what you do or have much love you show her.No matter how much you even watch if you become suspicious, she will find a way. Such people just do what they want to do and latter look for the other partners mistakes to justify it. Stop justifying infidelity.

Perfect!
Most cheating wives were cheating girlfriends whose men ignored the obvious signs.

Never forgive a cheating partner. Nothing justifies cheating.

No, virginity isn't worthless. It is a gem but not exactly as precious as the 'diamond' of attributes - good character.

I'd travel to the moon for a good-natured girl but I might not even bat an eyelid for a girl who is, well, just a virgin.

why settle for less when you can have more?
I'm not settling for less. Having sexual intercourse in no way makes a girl less...as long as she has it within the context of (a) defined relationship(s) and with deserving men.

And yes, I know body count matters for guys and girls.
Romance / Re: Reasons Why Sex Should Wait Until Marriage by TheSonOfMark(m): 10:00am On Feb 05, 2017
Your planets of assumptions seem to revolve around your sun of naivety.

While casual and indiscriminate sex is a no-no, virginity doesn't top the requisites for marriage. I am more interested in how cultured a girl is, our compatibility and other such things.

Virginity is like the icing on the cake and who says I can't enjoy my cake without the icing? wink

Look at the column for indigenous spoken languages in the state.
Rubbish! Border towns have always interacted but the people maintain their identities.

The Opobos and Ogonis of Rivers State understand basic Ibibio 'cause they are close to Akwaibom communities but certainly not 'Ibibiod'. Heck! Our meals are even similar yet we do not go about forcing the Ibibio tag on them.

The Ikas and Obot Akaras are Annangs (Ibibiod) who understand Igbo but are they are purely Annangs all the same.

There are Akwaibom L.G.As who border Abia; hence they understand Igbo and vice versa. Get your facts rights!

P.S: Half the supposed 'languages' in the quoted link are slightly varieting dialects of Ibibio just like there are various dialects of the Yoruba and Igbo languages.

AKSG to commence free education at Ohaobu, September
The Akwa Ibom State Government is to extend free and compulsory education policy to Ohaobu Community in Ukanafun Local Government Area next September.
The commissioner for education in the State, Prof (Mrs) Atim Antai disclosed this at Ohaobu during an inspection visit to the area on Friday. The commissioner explained that the visit followed a letter of appeal by the community some months before that their primary school shut down for some years ago. She stated that the school would be re-opened so that their children should enjoy the free education policy of the State Government. She described education as a veritable instrument for the development of the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow.
The commissioner described Ohaobu community as forward-looking and progressive people who seek bright future for their children. She advised Ohaobu people to ensure the protection of facilities that would be provided by the government, for the reopening of the school closed down some years ago because of a little misunderstanding.
The commissioner commended the dogged persistence of the member representing Ukanafun State Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Aniekan S. Akpan for the spadework he had done towards the re-opening the school. She said the determination of Akpan who is the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Education and the understanding of the council chairman, Apostle Sylvester Udokang have paid off as free and compulsory education set for the Ibo-speaking frontier Ohaobu community in Ukanafun Local Government Area.
The education commissioner advised Ohaobu people to bury the hatchet as development can only take place in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility even as the guarantee on security has been documented.
In a related development, the council chairman, Apostle Udokang thanked the Ohaobu people for their peaceful disposition and understanding and advised them to support the State Government under Governor Akpabio who has brought free and compulsory education to their doorstep. He charged them to take advantage of the laudable policy to prepare their children for a promising future. The chairman expressed appreciation for the supportive role of Ohaobu community to Ukanafun L.G.A.
The deputy chairman, House committee on education and member representing Ukanafun State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aniekan Akpan assured the people of Ohaobu that more dividends of the democracy would be delivered to them. He explained that the State government provided the electricity and the health centre in Ohaobu, advising them to remain law-abiding, as one of their own would represent the community someday.
Hogwash! A quick search on the web about "Ohaobu" reveals no official comfirmation of it being an Igbo-speaking communities.
You posted a free edition blog to serve as evidence? 'Ohaobu' isn't even mentioned in any trust news site!

You mentioned three communities but when put inside the dock of hard facts, your defence crumbled like a small sand dune hit by ocean waves.

Lol! Do you know the meaning of Azumini?

It's rooted in Igbo, it means " the back of river/ water".

Some Azumini people speak Annang fluently as secone language to communicate with their Annang neighbors, just as Okoloma people speak Ogoni as second language to communicate with their Tai Ogoni neighbours.

The name is Azumini please, stop disfiguring it.
You still don't get it, do you? Azumini is in ABIA State, not AKWAIBOM. There's an old, rusty signboard which reads "Welcome to Abia State at the beginning of Azumini's untarred road which leads to Aba but its people bear Akwaibom names too.

Yes, Ogbuagu, Mkpukpuagu, are all Ndoki-Igbo speaking communities in Akwaibom state.
Trying to play smart? Mention the AKWAIBOM L.G.As in which these supposed Igbo communities are located.

There are Ndoki-Igbo communities in Akwaibom state.
Ndoki was divided into Abia, Rivers and Akwaibom by Mammar Nasir boundary adjustment program of 1976.
Azumini people speak Ndoki dialect of Igbo language.
They have few loan Akwa Ibom words in their language.
Man, there are no Ndoki-Igbo communities in Akwaibom. The Azuminis/ Azumires aren't even in Akwaibom but they speak our languages fluently.

The Azuminis (who are Abians) are neighbours to the Annangs who are wholely Akwaibomites and speak a variation of Ibibio - Annang.

I challenge you to mention just one Akwaibom L.G.A with a single Igbo community.
